Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

The gal who greeted us was friendly (sorry I didn’t catch her name) and our server Fallon was awesome as well. She was warm, polite and attentive. The chili cheese fries were great. Yum.

My first time at a Tilted Kilt Resturant. I went there with little expectation other than the obvious. However I was pleasantly surprised that big arse burger was as good as it was. Yum! And the smithwick’s was nice and cold. Def worth the trip.

I was at tilted to kilt this past Saturday and this is my second time being served by the Beautiful Savanah Deming and let me tell you I love the way she treats me and my friends I feel welcome and she’s always checking if we need anything always on time I will definitely come back and I just hope that you can serve me again, I can’t can never complain about the food is so delicious

Came here for the first time and it was a good outing with the fellas. The atmosphere was great, the hostess was awesome, and the food was really good. I wish they gave more fries with the meal. Was charged $ 10 for the fight even though i don’t watch ufc but whatever still watched it anyways since i paid for it. I would come again if I’m evert im the area again.

They charge a $ 10 cover for UFC PPV but then don’t even put the PPV on. I had to get up from my table and tell the hostess that the tvs need to be changed to the PPV. Five minutes later, the picture changed but not the audio. So I had to get up from my table AGAIN and alert the staff. This is really unprofessional and unacceptable.
Furthermore, the audio was super loud for such a small room which cause people to have to yell to hear each other. I walked out with my gf before the first fight even started. I won’t be back. I’m staying home for UFC PPV from now on.

This place is a fucking joke! Me and my husband decided to give it a second chance after having a bad time the first time. The girls are horrible severs and don’t pay attention to you unless your a dirty old man with money. I’ve never had the pleasure to try their food or judge them on it due to the fact that I have never been served. They will put you down and then forget about you because all they do is stay in the bar area and hang out and play grab ass with Old men. I think whoever is managing these girls need to pay more attention because they’re losing out on money by not having any customer service skills and not serving food. Get you shit together!!!

Absolutely amazing service by DaRa. Will absolutely be coming back. I also hope she wins on the 2017 calendar girl. She is so sweet and suck great service. :)

Great for drinks and good food! Would recommend coming here to watch games or gather with friends! Our bartender Yvonne was amazing! I hope she is working next time I go!

The worst tilted kilt i have ever seen. Ive never been disrespected by a business the way this tilted kilt just did. We showed up with 12 people for a birthday party and were very rudely told that we couldn’t come in. When we asked why they said it was because we just got off a tour bus. All we wanted to do was have a cocktail and open presents for our friend. We are all coherent, calm, and obviously not hammered as we stood outside the establishment for about 10min before walking in and they observed our behavior. And the attitude in which they smugly displayed toward us when we questioned why three of them abruptly stood in front of us and physically blocked us from going inside. This was an easy 1200 $ in drinks for them. Bad business all around.

Decent food, good sports bar decent service although I have a feeling most of the women who work there are much more inclined to deal with men versus female customers for some reason. hmmm, wonder why that could be???
Food is decent by and large and you get quite a bit — overall good sports bar with plenty of televisions and seating for good viewing.

When your wife wants to try new places, you should listen — especially when one of those places happens to have gorgeous women serving your food. Tori was our server and got us everything we needed.
I had the One Shot Johnny Shepherd’s Pie — seasoned ground beef, carrots, peas, mushroom gravy, topped with parmesan baked mashed potatoes and garlic bread. The consistency was good — not too thick, but not soupy either. The flavors were natural and not overly seasoned.
What I remember most about my visit was the french fries. I don’t know if they give the fries special treatment, but these stood out as the best item of the meal. They were crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. They were cooked perfectly, and flavored nicely as well. Often times fries are overlooked, or forgotten. It’s appreciated when they are well made!
I have kids, so I end up trying a lot of stuff on the kids menu at restaurants. To my surprise, the mac n cheese here was spectacular. The macaronis were cooked perfectly, and the cheese was real, natural, and delicious.
I’d be glad to return anytime to enjoy the food and the lovely ladies.

A sports bar with young ladies in tiny kilt costumes, and young guys in kilts. Good atmosphere, good service, and surprisingly good food.
Not bad. Not bad at all.

This is a great place to come and hang out with the guys, watch the game, and have a few beers. Think Hooters, with an Irish twist.
The food is decent enough. Our club sandwich and steak and cheese were decent, but nothing stood out as great. Wouldn’t put them at the top of my list, but will certainly come in and try something else. Stew or shepards pie, next time. Service is good.

Fun spot I enjoyed the cover band and the hot wings… yum I got Parmesan garlic and the fries were good. the service meh. I saw employees walking very fast and seemingly very busy yet I was always waving someone down for napkins or a beer or ranch dressing etc not in a hurry to go back nothing special about the place and nothing bad either but LBC has so many amazing places that I wont be back soon

I love this place! Great Food. Great service! The bartender Yvonne is very nice. She gave me great customer service and she really knows her drinks and what she is doing. I often refer my friends to come here. Even though it is out of the way distance wise for them, they say the customer service and experience they get is worth it!

I’ve been to the Tilted Kilt here in long beach a couple of times and I keep coming back for the amazing food and the amazing staff. I am always treated so nicely every time I come and that makes the experience so much better. Tori is one of the most kind people that works there. Every time I walk in and I see her she greets me and then everyone else who comes in with such energy and a great attitude. Wonderful employee and I will for sure come back again very soon!

Last month, I came by this sleepy shopping center for Playa Amor, only to find it wasn’t open yet. Despite the mediocre reviews at Tilted Kilt, I chose it because it was there and open.
Food:
Lunch specials are $ 10, including a sandwich, fries, and drink. Maybe I ordered incorrectly, but the cheese steak they served me was very forgettable. The meat was flavorless, despite the best efforts of various chilled and cheeses. The bread wasn’t fresh; the whole ensemble reminded me of microwaveable sandwiches from the grocery frozen aisle. I love fried stuff, but the onion rings (paid upgrade) didn’t do it for me either.
Service:
I thought the girls working here were angels but service was still lacking. Why?
Imagine an older guy, eating alone. He’s sitting in the corner, staking out the scene. When a young, skimpily-​dressed waitress comes by, he pounces by telling a boring, 5 minute story about whatever. She tries her best to listen intently and sincerely, but during this time, she obviously can’t do her job for other patrons. I witnessed this happen more than once, which made it very difficult for a weekday lunch during business hours.
Anyways, my waitress also left someone else’s order on my table, apologized, and then took that somewhere else. If you’re OCD about this type of thing, you might not like that either. She was very nice about it at least.
Overall:
A unique place (at least to me) but food and service left much to be desired.

What I like about tilted kilt is the quality of food and service! I visit this place at least once a month if not more. Since becoming somewhat of a regular I’ve also found my favorite bartender– YVONNE! She is amazing and never delivers anything short of an amazing experience. I was just there on Sunday and couldn’t be more satisfied with Yvonne’s service and level of professionalism. Despite how slow it was that day– she is always attending to her customers. What I find to be really great considering I see so many bartenders/​servers get caught up with their co-​workers instead of their customers. Not sure who reads these things– but Thanks Yvonne for always going above and beyond the call of duty! I choose tilted kilt over some overpriced wings and orange shorts any day!

Been coming here with friends for a few months now and every week I can honestly say we receive great service and great food on a consistent basis! My favorite waitress would most definitely be Tori! She is always super happy and full of energy. She loves her job and makes sure everyone has a great experience! Definitely ask for her next time you check it out!

First off, I like this one better than the one in Orange on account of they still have mozzarella sticks. There aren’t as many tvs and the placement of some could be better, but the service is definitely better and faster. TORI was my server and I actually would get refills without asking. She checked on our table pretty often but not to the point where it got annoying. She actually seemed to like working there so it made the environment enjoyable, even when some punk table were being a**holes.

I come here about 4 to 6 times a month but always look forward for a barternder named Yvonne shes a very pretty and friendly bartender always making sure everything is OK and makes the drinks that much better
I dont mind tipping half of what my total bill is when I get GREAT service

I’ve been coming to the Tilted Kilt for about 2 and a half years now. First off the food is amazing and the service is awesome. Especially by a beautiful young lady named Tori. She always has brightest smile on her face. She is one of the many reasons why I return each time. She always makes sure my experience is top quality and memorable. Defiantly recommend to anybody looking to have a good meal and beer with pretty lady’s. Makes sure you ask to be in Tori’s section.

Yvonne the bartender is simply delightful and nice. Enjoy our talks about the Twilight novels — Team Edward!

Came here with some friends while in the area for the evening.
Service was beyond slow, the place was pretty crowded and it really put a damper on the mood having to flag down the waitress for more drinks.
While I did enjoy the Mule I had, as well as the pub pretzels, the nachos were horrible and not worth getting.
The cocktail menu is descent, the prices high for the quality that you get.
Also not a fan of the ambiance and vibe, or the cheap outfits these girls have to wear.
Not worth returning.

Came here for dinner with a couple of old High School buddies the place is pretty nice lots of TVs all over the place you couldn’t miss a game lol. The server was very nice and came back to check on us often which in turn a bigger tip. Food selection burgers, some pastas and and buffalo chicken and ribs selections. We started with calamari and pub pretzels both which I recommend three of my buddies got the fish tacos and two others got salads and I got the buffalo chicken mac & cheese very good but spicy for me since I can’t handle spicy foods too much but it was good I would get that again. Overall a fun time eating, drinking and catching up with old friends which we see once a year or so. Will be back was hoping that Alliyah was working but she wasn’t hopefully next time she will be there.

Came here last night for my wife’s b-​day with a fairly large group (40+). Let me back track just a bit… I called on short notice (6 days) to set up my reservation & requested the back room with the 90″ tv, pool table & additional 4 flat screens strategically placed throughout the room due to the privacy factor, & Sunday Night Football game.
Ok, again, let me back track even more, my 1^st time here was a few months ago for my b-​day that my wife set up & had the same room. Back then, all (large group of 40+) who attended had a great time & the person who tend to my groups needs was Brianna, who single handedly managed my party… Great Job Brianna!
Now, fast forward to present time… due to my past experience, I gave them a call to set up my wife’s b-​day. Initially spoke with Tracy to reserve the room, & called every other day just to confirm my reservation of that private room. All was well & room secured.
Now, the day of my wife’s b-​day, I called at noon to again, make sure private requested room was go to go. After speaking to someone, then another, & finally to Katie, the manager, I was a bit nervous that something was wrong, & Katie confirmed it. She told me another large group was in there & she wasn’t too sure when they’d leave. I was bit annoyed to say the least, & that Katie had another room reserved for us & could later moves into private pool room after the 1^st group left. I was NOT happy & expressed my feelings. Katie calmed me down & told me she would do everything possible to make my event unforgettable. We hung up & was already thinking to myself, «This sucks! But gotta make the best of it» & felt bad how I spoke to Katie. I was planning on calling her back to apologize when Bam! 15 minutes later, Katie calls me back, tells me she just managed to move that group & my private pool room would be ready for our my wife’s b-​day party. Wow! What a smooth move by Katie!
I first apologized & then thanked her! I’m not much for planning things & thought it would be a disaster. But thanks to Katie, it turned out great! Katie had the room set up perfectly for a b-​day, football games & shooting pool. Katie had room decorated with ballons, closed off to others, & had two great gals (Aaliyah & Aspen) taking care of our large group.
I ordered an assortment of hot appetizers & drinks for my large group & we were well taken care of by both ladies. I ordered the Street Tacos with shredded pork & found them very tasty. I also tasted every hot app plates ordered & was very pleased with flavor & portion size.
Everyone had a great time, & my b-​day girl was happily amazed with me pulling this off for her!
We are two for two with great times at the L.B. Tilted Kilt! THANK YOU Katie, Aaliyah & Aspen for a great time & memorable night!!!

Ordered there burger, had to send it back twice, once they forgot to put on lettuce the other time forgot to put onion.
Slow service also.

It’s weird that there’s a dozen girls in sight (with enough clothes to cover maybe four) but the service isn’t that great. I only come here before a Big Red Bus event, for which they have decent specials. I stare at the TV the whole time so my wife can’t accuse me of looking elsewhere because it’s basically the Scottish Hooters. They should call it Scooters.

We had great food. Great company. Great drinks and had the best waitress ever. Her name was Savanah.
Little tip: there’s a couple board games hidden throughout the place. Just check on the fireplace mantle in the back.
Also, they have my favorite beer — Modelo Especial.

I adore Savannah! We talked books, inventors, and 50 Shades of Grey! I love it here! The Black bean burrito is amazing!

As most of you can see, I do not like posting negative reviews. It makes me feel bad. On the rare occasion a restaurant is that bad I must let you know.
We decided to check this place out for the opening NFL game this year. Bad choice.
We were NOT greeted when we walked in. We waited a few minutes to be greeted. Our server was not very attentive and pretty slow. Our beer was warm. The sound system for the TV’s were awful.
Here’s the kicker; One of their specialty items are ‘Irish Nachos’ (potato chips with nacho toppings). Im not sure how they do it in Ireland, but they were an abomination to both Irish and Mexican folks ! Hard dry chips with dried ground beef, diced tomatoes, and ¹⁄₃ covered with cheese. Yes Unilocalers, that’s right NO CHEESE on the nachos! When I asked our server or enough queso to cover the entire plate she gladly provided. Guess what, when I got the bill she charged for it! I didn’t know cheese was extra if you order nachos.
Breakdown :
1. Fried pickles — Salty (overly) and greasy
2. Wings (hot) Pretty good. Have had better and worse — decent sauce
3. Beer — ok selection but warm
4. Irish Nachos– Id rather eat gravel
If you want to hit a sports type/​pub food bar head across the street to BDubs. This place is no good.

This is what you get when you cross a Hooters with an Irish pub… and its pretty AWESOME!
Tilted Kilt provides a great atmosphere for a lunch break and a late night hang-​out. They even have great lunch specials that come with a drink for only $ 7.50!!! (picture of the menu below) Tilted Kilt also has a great beer selection that is always being updated. Although I recommend you start with a TK lager. It’s the house beer and its really good.
TK has several great entrees we have ordered over time. They have a fantastic Sheppard’s Pie that comes with plenty of beef and mashed potatoes. That can be too hardy for some people. In that case I would recommend their Chicken Tender Salad. They can even toss the chicken tenders in different flavor sauces that adds a lot to the salad. I always get the burner sauce for the tenders, it’s really good and not that spice. Their wraps are great too, and they come with your choice of fries or a side salad.
Plus you usually get a free dessert or nachos with your Unilocal check in!!!
You gotta try it out!
