Found this while waiting for our car to be serviced. Omelettes were great, atmosphere was clean and friendly. Recommend this for people in the area.

Would have loved to try the food here but had such a bad experience with delivery. Waited an hour and And a half for our order. When we finally got the order every single item we ordered was wrong. Paid extra for side of bacon, wasn’t there. two iced coffees we ordered, wasn’t there, ordered an omlete, the sausage and cheese we paid extra for, you guessed it wasn’t there. Ordered pancakes, no syrup or butter or anything came with it. When we called to see what was wrong the guy on the phone was extra rude. Told us they were going to pick the food up, waited for them again, never showed. Horrible. Really horrible. Didn’t even bother to eat at that point. Had to eat at another place. Had to call seamless to get a refund. The restaurant didn’t even want to refund us.

Came for breakfast while getting my car fixed. Being so early in the middle of the week, it was quiet inside. A few people, but we were seated quickly and service was fast. Small table by the window/front entrance. Small place, but cozy and intimate inside. Feels like a spot where there would be a lot of regulars coming by. Not really a classy café, but more comfy and divey, if that makes any sense. Water glasses were filled promptly — thank god because it was hot and we were thirsty. Pancakes, French toast, eggs, and bacon were brought out quickly. Not the best I had, but hearty and filling for the very reasonable price!

Good service just very slow… This place is too hot to dine in during hot days. Even with the open walls and fan. The food was good.

The farmers omelette breakfast sandwich on a bagel is awesome and really affordable. I come here all the time and I know exactly what to expect. What more could you ask from your neighborhood diner?

I normally come here when I’m on break when around the neighborhood. I enjoy a nice late breakfast there and they are very nice staff and good food. The only issue I always get is when I’m ready for my check and the waitress either disappears or she try to seem busy and I don’t care for that attitude. It makes me a little mad and not want to tip & so far they have not received a tip from me since the 1st time I went and the girl set a high bar. Either way the food is diner food and nothing to scream about to home about but it was well enough.

Always the best Nutella pancakes. But they decrease the amount of Nutella on the pancakes. So sad… :/ But still, a great cheap breakfast/brunch place if you are in Astoria!

The food here is excellent. I had a pastrami and mozzarella omelette. The coffee was good and strong, and I received a refill promptly. The server could probably cheer up a bit, but the service was prompt and accurate. The homefry potatoes were seasoned and cooked very well. The toast was not too buttery. Overall I really enjoyed this place and I’m glad I came in.

This place is a hidden gem. A quick, all purpose café that serves typical diner fare with a Spanish twist. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and extremely affordable, and all breakfast dishes are served with home fries and toast. Come here hungover on a Sunday and order the avocado omelette, you will thank me.

I like to order delivery from here occasionally in the mornings and, when visiting friends in Astoria I enjoy coming here for breakfast. Appearance: Small, intimate. Typical café look. Won’t be great if a large group of you and your friends want to hang out, but a great spot for you and a friend or two to grab a quick meal. Prices: Inexpensive. For an espresso and a breakfast sandwich, I spent about $ 6. Food: Simple but well done. The last time I was here, I ordered a grilled salmon ceasar salad. The salmon had just a touch too much salt for my liking, but I’m not a big salt person. My friend really enjoyed it. My go to for breakfast from here is a bagel with lox and cream cheese with a mochaccino. Great portion sizes especially for the price. I’ll be visiting again for breakfast and caffeine needs. It’s great just to have simple food well executed. Excellent place to visit if you’re in the area.

No weekend is complete without stopping in to this reliable and consistent oasis. I’ve lived in this neighborhood going on 4 years and my only wish is that it was here the whole time. The food is consistently good and the service is impeccable. A great neighborhood that I will definitely miss. Always a fan of the chilaquiles, but I can’t say no to the Athenian omelette either!

A local café off Northern B;vd in Astoria on 45th street that offers straight up grilled meat and potato type food. The steak and eggs with chiplote is my fav, along with spinach pie and greek salad. The coffee is always fresh and the staff is quick and friendly. Ordering is convieniant and ask Javier for daily specials. The ribs with mash falls off the bone and the soups and rice dishes have a latin sabor(flavor). Looking for good cheap eats? look no further.

Been ordering from Daybreak for the past 7 months, food is great, prices are reasonable, service and delivery excellent. Highly recommended if it happens to be hungry in the Astoria, Woodside, Sunnyside, Long Island City, East Elmhurst, Jackson Heights. They are open 7 days a week, delivery is free, can order online as well plus they take credit cards. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They call themselves«Daybreak Grilled Café — Restaurant».

They are a normal diner. Their prices are pretty cheap compared to other neighboring diners. I ordered a delivery from GrubHub and my food came within thirty minutes. Great service, mediocre food.

Daybreak Café is about as standard of a diner as one will find this in area. In the barren land of western Queens(more specifically, eastern Astoria), the pickens become a little slimmer as the area develops, hence Daybreak is an option for many, especially with their robust delivery, servicing many nearby hoods. The food is exactly what you’d expect — reasonably priced, similar variety as others, and about as typical as they come. Their breakfast platters are solid, especially with regards to pricing. A pastrami omelette with toast and home fries is $ 5.25 with a Nova Scotia lox omelette topped off for $ 7.95. Since eggs and anything involving morning food is generally made to order, it also happens to be the safest bet in their semi-large menu. Burgers are inconsistently decent to mediocre. More often than not, the meat temperature is rarely correct and the buns are dry and doughy. Their saving grace is that they offer many sandwich alternatives from a hearty Monte Christo sammy($ 7.50) to a more gourmet Prime Rib sandwich($ 10). I’ve also dabbled a little bit with their appetizers by trying their potato skins($ 4.75), mini tacos($ 5.75), and chicken fingers($ 5.25). The skins were mediocre as can be, the mini tacos were more like thick taquito stubs, and the chicken fingers were solid but the breading fell apart too easily. But the worst I’ve saved for last, which is virtually any of their pasta dishes. Not only are they the priciest items($ 10 – 12) on an already cheaper menu, but they’re often the worst executed. A flavorless spaghetti and meatballs was the meal one day, along with a terrible overcooked salmon on a bed of equally overcooked linguini, and the list goes on. Parmigiana anything is a hazard in these parts. Exercise your carb intake with caution. If they were open later, I’m pretty sure this would be the spot to get your drunk eats on. Alas, more of a daytime establishment. And with a name like that, it seems fitting.

Sssssssssoooooooooooooo… I may have had a weeeeeee bit too much to guzzle… and I mmmmmmaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy have had a hankerin’ for a meatloaf sammy which NOTHING else could quell :-) There were a handful of options which popped up on seamless… but nothing looked right! Then, I found Daybreak. It wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for. The roll wasn’t what I hoped(on sight)…and I was a weeeeee bit knackered. But I grumbled, and took a bite. OMG!!! This is now my go-to meatloaf sammy spot! The meatloaf? Solid. Bacon all up on the sammy? YES, PLEASE!!! It was just as I ordered. I didn’t have to reheat the jalapeño poppers I ordered on the side. Delivery was a decent time from when I placed the order. And the prices really aren’t that bad. I’ll def order again for this sammy… and I may just keep going through the menu!

Best delivery in Astoria, friendly staff and super delicious food. Best place for early breakfast delivery or late night munchies. They deliver even in the rain. Great burgers and onion ring and breakfast omelets are to die for. Price can’t be beat, all our meals were under $ 20.

Standard diner food. Atleast that’s what I had. Stumbled upon this place while walking around waiting for my car to finish being serviced. I’m sure many others have experienced this since this area is car repair/dealership central. I ordered the barbeque cheeseburger deluxe. It came pretty quickly. They also offer free wi-fi, accept credit card and have beer on their menu, which is nice(to enjoy 1) when you’ve just been told that your car won’t be ready for 4 hours. I wasn’t happy with the DOH B rating in the window, but it seems to have worked out for me. Now if only the man in back of me would have stopped coughing without covering his mouth.
