Great food. Tastes like grandma made it with love. Huge menu with something for everyone. Quirky nostalgic atmosphere with lots of booths, waitresses wear 50’s poodle skirts and there is a lot of cool memorabilia. I would give 5 stars but sometimes the servers are just slow and overwhelmed I guess. They are almost always super nice but sometimes tend to be forgetful. If you are in the mood to chill out and be friendly, patient and eat awesome food then this small town gem is for you.

Omelettes overdone. Coffee cup went dry for way too long. The Stuffy’s omelette comes with gravy if you want it. I asked our waitress and she said no I don’t want it on it but maybe on the side. Thank goodness. It would of made my mediocre omelette unedible if I had it over the whole thing. Bland is an understatement. Chalk may of had more flavor. I’ve been to places where the waitress brings a coffee pot with her and sets it off to the side if no one needs a refill. Please, please get back to that. I needed a refill and not one person noticed. We drive the I-5 a lot and now I am looking for another place to eat breakfast. Get back to basics of good service and flavorful diner food and you will get your business back. How you(the business owner) do not heed all the bad reviews is a wonder to me.

Have had the biscuits and gravy a lot when I was a kid. huge potions and a descent price. I just took my kids to show them my bragging rights and we were all sadly disappointed. small potion for the almost $ 11… and no sausage in the gravy that I could see. we wont be back with all the other choices on Longview :(. stuffy really needs to pick back up there game. menu also was very confusing and hard to understand.

It has been about three months since our breakfast visit. Today for lunch. Reception and wait person were just fine. We had cod fish and chips. Side salad was good also. The fries were nasty as well as my serving of coleslaw. We got a fresh serving of fries but they were just as bad as the first, except they were hot. At least two things can cause deep fried food to be soggy. They are wrong temperature oil and/or worn out/unfiltered oil. Still puzzled as to why this place has repeat customers. We will not try a third visit.

I haven’t had much to say about Stuffys until my last 2 visits. What is happening??? The quality of the food has decreased drastically. Not only did out tables food look mediocre to say the best, but it gave us ALL stomach issues. This is horrible!

This place is hit or miss which probably depends on the server. The food is good as long as you don’t want any changes and it’s even better if you are lucky enough to have a server bring it to you while it’s still warm. We were not so fortunate today with our thanksgiving dinner. Today, I would rank the place a 1, but other times it’s been great add I’d give it a 4.

I came in with a group of 8 on a Saturday night and we were seated within minutes. Our server, Sandy was AMAZING and always made sure we had what we needed. Our food came out hot and fast and we were all so pleased at our experience!

Worst customer service! We came in with a party of 15 which was apparently too much for them to handle. The hostess had to «ask» her manager if they could accommodate us even though the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. They reluctantly agreed to «let us» enjoy breakfast at their establishment. Once seated, we didn’t didn’t even get a hello from ANY wait staff for the first 20 mins. No water, no coffee, in fact no offers at all. The wait staff seemed annoyed that we were there at all. While the food is good, the service was so bad that I will not be returning. Ever.

If HUGE portions are what you are looking for then search no more but QUALITY isn’t really the best. The food is alright and the service is great. The famous cinnamon roll is worth a shot but save room in the car because you are going to need a box!

Breakfast is amazing. Dinner was okay. The owners need to DE clutter. I keep waiting for some hobo to jump out n shank me in all that clutter.

The portions are huge. The quality of the food is mediocre. No better than Dennys or ihop. The ding a Ling food servers wearing 1950s bee bop dresses couldn’t remember to bring me strawberry jam for my toast and they also forgot to include toast on my wife’s order So I tipped the cook not the waitress. Sorry but if your so busy why not hire on more staff?

We love the food here! And we love coming here. The only thing is, both times we’ve been here in the last 2 months, we’ve had the same waitress and both times she seemed rude and always forgot about us. The first time it wasn’t so bad but this last time was horrible. We sat there for almost 20 minutes before she came back to our table to take our order, and when she did she asked us if we were ready to order because there was another table that was already ready that she could get. This seemed incredibly rude to us, but we let her go to the other table even though we were ready. Then we had our orders taken after another 10 minutes and it took almost 30 minutes for us to get our food. It was a little bit busy, and I’d understand a few minutes but it took forever. Not only was this irritating, but she was also waitress to a table of people who got there after we did, and they got their food and were finished before we even got ours. We’re going to be back on Friday for my sister’s birthday and we just hope we don’t get her as our waitress again update: 8÷27÷15 Glenda, the waitress was an older lady, tall, slender. Silverish blonde hair, I think both times it was up sort of in a bun or pony tail?

Was excited to go here for the deep fried pickles. They were good but they could have used more batter. Ordered a ½ stuffy burger with fries. The burger wasn’t fresh and obviously frozen. Had that freezer burnt taste to it. The bun wasn’t toasted so it was a sloppy mess. Used a fork and knife to eat it. The fries were okay. Got a mini cinnamon roll to take home. There was so much frosting on it I’m pretty sure they bought a sugar cane field just for the frosting. Sadly it was so dry it made the Sahara Desert look like a rain forest. But I didn’t pay for the food so it’s whatever. I won’t be back. Oh and service was TERRIBLE. Sat there forever. Waitress was forgetful and slow.

My fiancé and I stopped here once before while making our typical drive from Portland to Seattle. Food was fine, service was okay, we were both satisfied. I recently stopped here again(08⁄02) for the second time with my fiancé and his parents when, once again, making the drive between the two cities. My fiancé and I both got the stuffy’s ½lb burger(forgetting how massive they are). They tasted great, but we both ate only half and got the rest to go. Thankfully my in-laws to be didn’t get the burger because I ended up having severe food poisoning from it. At first I thought I was just worn out from the drive, but the fever and vomiting kicked in and it hit my fiancé about an hour after mine did. I called Stuffy’s the next day(08⁄03) to warn them their meat may be tainted. I asked for a manager, but a girl took my name and number down and I never heard a word back. I even told her I’m not looking for a free meal, God knows I won’t be eating there again, I just wanted to prevent it from happening to someone else. Real professional. Hope no one else gets sick due to your negligence.

Step back into the 1950s! I’ve only ever had breakfast hear but why change when you found the perfect thing. There isn’t a better breakfast place around town. The cinnamon rolls are delicious and ordering the one that is the size of my car means you get a huge inside piece. We all know that’s the only worth while part of a cinnamon roll. Fun fact — I got engaged here! It was the first place my fiancé and I went to eat together.

We were passing thru and found this place on Unilocal.Pleasantly surprised! The servings are huge so we split our orders and still didn’t finish everything. We ordered the cheese omelet, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and a slice of the cinnamon roll French toast. Everything was delicious. Great atmosphere and very kid friendly.

I’m a little embarrassed to say I ate here. Breakfast was your standard fare. Service was good. The cinnamon rolls embody everything that is wrong with America. I asked the waitress«do you have anything in a human size?» She brought out something that could feed a small country and told me «this is the smallest we have.» God help me I took it home… it fed three adults and two dogs. I’m so ashamed. Edit 4/7/2013 – Glenda, sweetie, that slight breeze you felt in your hair was the joke going right over your head.

Pretty darn good. Popped into Stuffy’s for the first time today having a powerful lust for an omelette and read on Unilocal about Stuffy’s. This place is everything you’d expect from a popular small town American diner. Stuffy’s has a huge menu and from what I understand they’re legendary for their breakfasts. They also have a couple of huge menu items where if you eat them in a certain amount of time it’s free. Walking in, this place has obviously been around for decades. It was crowded but I was seated quickly and received good service. Ordered one of the omelettes and was not disappointed at Stuffy’s lives up to it’s reputation of huge portions. The food was of good quality and was exactly what I was in the mood for. Overall it was a very good experience. The only reasons I don’t give five stars is I felt it was a little pricey for what it was and I generally avoid crowded places. Both of those are really nitpicky complaints. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the mood for an awesome breakfast.

Stuffy’s is a Longview institution! Almost overly decorated with 50s memorabilia — think Betty Boop, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, James Dean, etc. Everywhere you turn, there is something interesting to look at. The waitresses are running around in poodle skirts and the jukebox plays music of that era as well. When you walk in, you see the giant cinnamon rolls on display — for a very reasonable price, you can choose original, with raisins and even with bacon! These cinnamon rolls are huge! After many years and visits, we finally ordered one! The flavor was good, but the outside of the cinnamon roll was understandably dried out and tough. Not the gooey goodness if cinnamon roll that we love, but, honestly, did not expect it for that size. Out favorite meal to eat here is definitely breakfast! Huge portions and good food! You can’t go wrong with the famous«Stuff» — just be careful that you don’t accidentally order a pizza pan full of it! Country scramble, chicken fried steak, omelettes, French toast and pancakes are all favorites as well. They also serve cinnamon roll French toast(made with their famous cinnamon rolls). Although a very large restaurant with lots of tables, be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes if you stop in for breakfast on the weekends — it is always packed! Staff is usually very friendly, although can be a bit rushed trying to keep up during the busy times.
