Tijuana Flats

I’m writing a review solely on the service we received today, the food as always, was delicious. That being said, I am very disappointed in the way the manager handled things today with us, as customers who have frequented this establishment MANY times before, we were charged extra for some tacos my boyfriend gets every time he comes here. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, he insisted that they always charge that amount when in fact he has never rung us up. On top of that, today being Fathers Day, he was expecting a free meal since I received a free meal on Mothers Day this year (granted it was for being a pet mother but she said that still counts) that day the woman who gave me my free meal said it would be the same for Fathers Day, the woman today said that you could only get 1 taco and a draft beer. Now normally I wouldn’t complain because that’s still pretty good but I find it pretty sexist how a woman can get whatever she wants for free but the man has to get what they give him? Lame. I understand that the customer is not always right and that we’re not entitled to anything, however it was still pretty unfair how things were handled. We were very excited to go to Tijuana today but left feeling very upset.

I just have to write about my experience here at the Tijuana Flats here in longwood. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager Josh he was so ecstatic when he greeted us at the door a very welcoming presence he told me and my wife he’d grab us some menus then he explained the menu in detail to us. After this we ordered are food at the counter my wife had chicken flatuaus and I tried the Norris bowl deal. The girls at the counter were also very friendly and welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. They told us to have a seat and the food will be out shortly in about 5 minutes Josh came out and brought us our food. The food looked spectacular and everything was right. May I add it was delicious! The hot sauce bar was another awesome part of this restaurant very unique! The reason I’m writing this though is to just take the time to appreciate how great of a leader Josh is you could just tell that his great positive attitude and desire to serve his customers is overwhelming and awesome! He went out of his way to make sure we were good the entire time while we were here, and you could just tell all of his energy radiated off on his employees. I don’t know where tijuana found Josh, but I’d definitely keep him around if I owned my own restaurant chain. He’s definitely the reason my visit here was so great. I will now be a loyal customer here at this location! Thank you tijuana flats and Josh!

Tijuana flats pretty much has one thing on the menu: a combo of beans/​meat, tortilla in some form, and a boatload of melty cheese. Whether you get a burrito or nachos, that’s basically what you are getting. Not saying the food is bad. It hits the spot on a night when you want to over load on carbs and cheese and want it fast.

Had dinner here last night. The nachos have overtaken the title best menu option for me. The cashiers are always friendly in this location. Always seems to be busy and the kitchen cranks out the food quickly. Always very clean here too. This is my favorite location.

Bangin chicken tostadas are awesome as well as bangin chicken burrito. The atmosphere is the same as others which is pretty cool. The atomic jalapeño bites are the best appetizer.

I’d say 9 times out of ten everything is awesome. We’ve only ha a couple intakes that our order was really wrong but they did correct it immediately.

I’ve been to many of the Tijuana’s around town and get the same thing at all of them. The Dos Tacos with Queso and chips. You can’t go wrong at any of them. Love the hot sauce bar.

Quick service, friendly staff, beer on deck with your burritos or tacos! I mean what more could you want… a little nicer than chipotle on the inside… so many hot sauces it’s awesome! I always get at least four and enjoy tasting them all :) it’s like a slice of hot sauce heaven when I find a new one I like. Especially as a hot sauce maker I am totally in love with this place. And the pick two is reasonably priced.

Always good! I frequently ask for flour chips (corn allergy) and the staff are more than happy to accommodate this request so I can enjoy the yummy queso dip, too. I love the Mexican pizza with chicken on a whole wheat flour shell, so delicious! It is a bit of a mad house on Taco Tuesdays. The salsa bar is always stocked with the best mouth burning salsas! Enjoy!

I love tacos! And I especially love Tijuana Flats’ tacos! And I really love them on Tuesdays when you get 2 tacos, chips and a drink for $ 4.99!
You always get great food at a great price. And you never have to worry about whether or not its going to taste good. They are very consistent with how their food tastes. I don’t do spicy, so I like that they leave all the spice on the hot sauce bar. Then you can add whatever level of spice you want to your food. I use the Smack My Sweet A$$ and Call Me Sally sauce — it is sweet with just a little spice. Its perfect for me!
I particularly like this location because they have great service. Someone always greets you when you walk in the door. You can also place your order online and have it ready at a particular time. This is great because I can order my food before I leave work and have it ready when I get there. You also don’t have to worry about your order getting messed up over the phone or having a hard time getting through.

I eat here about 1 – 2 times a month including tonight. I have never had bad service, or bad food, in fact the service had always been excellent as well as the food. I usually have the chimichanga, or tacos and my wife the tacos or Norrito Bowl.
If you looking for fast great service as well as great food at reasonable prices, this is the place.

Friendly service, consistently good food, lots of menu options (including beer) and a fun sauce bar. Who doesn’t love Tijuana Flats? The restaurant is brightly colored and clean. My son loves the mural on the wall. I’m not a fan of super hot sauces but I do like their sweet chili sauce. It goes great on the chips!

Great food… but the service is lacking a bit and not sure why because it wasnt that busy… maybe they just need more training to teach them they need less standing & yalking to ea h other and more attention toward the customers that pay thier wages. IJS…

I’m left feeling very meh again. I had the enchiladas and they were really oily. The meat was blah with some odd seasoning choices. The chips and guac were okay but the salsa was extremely bland.
The people were very nice and the service was good but the food was very disappointing.

Once Upon A Time… and 5 pounds lighter.
My co-​workers kept telling me about this great place to grab a bite to eat. So I decided to try it out.

This is such great yummy food! And the best part… a magical sauce bar, with all sorts of fun names. From the sweet to the hot. The sauces are amazing. And you can even buy bottles of the sauces to take home.
If you do go at lunch (esp on Tuesdays) it will be harder to find a seat. Due to «Taco Tuesday»
The price is right and on the cheaper side, and the portions are huge! The staff is amazingly friendly, even with a large rush. This store is also a chain. And since that magical day of Once Upon A Time, I have visited several «TFLATS“now. But this place is always the best.
I would say that this is the best TEX-​MEX place you can find. And is now a great addiction.

I like this location a lot. The employees are nice and friendly, and the hot sauce bar has a couple flavors I don’t usually see in Winter Park.

I like this Tijuana Flats location. Close to my house and the food is good. I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always good. The Chimichanga is enormous and also good.
You order at the register and they bring the food to your table.

This is my favorite location. Not only is it within walking distance of the office, but they are always spot on. This is one of the places that I get something different every time I go. Last time was the fish tacos. Loved them. Grilled to perfection.
This location goes out of their way to make you happy. I love the swamp mud sauce and buy it to take home. When they were out, they went out of their way to get more. Every time I went in, they told me that they still had it on order. I really felt like they cared, and that makes a difference.

I haven’t been to this location in a while, but I remember it being very good. If you see my review of the store on Edgewater Dr., you’ll notice that I prefer this store, that one and the one in Lake Mary. (Of course, those are the three I’ve been to the most, too.)
I’m not sure if this always is the case, but this location seems to be kind of a «test» store for new menu items. A few years back, the company was testing out some new dishes to see what the customers’ reception would be. This store, for a limited time, was offering a chicken Caesar wrap or burrito and at least two other items. I think one of the other two might’ve been the «Bangin’ Chicken» burrito. I made a few visits to this location while they were testing these potential new items out and was able to try the aforementioned two burritos, both of which I enjoyed.
I don’t make it up to this one very much anymore since I now live in College Park and T.F. has a location within walking distance of my house, so if I’m craving T.F. then that’s the one I head to. However, if I’m in the Longwood area and am craving T.F., I certainly won’t think twice about stopping by at this store. The service I’ve received here in the past has been great, the quality of the food is as great as it is at the other locations and this store is very convenient to the nearby neighborhoods and businesses.
Oh, I almost forgot — the items the company was testing out at this store and a few select other locations now seem to be fixtures on the menu. I looked at the menu online and saw both the items I tried a while back now listed! I guess most people enjoyed them as much as I did.
