Jack in The Box

Great customer service– they noticed me trying to get Caffeine-​free Diet Coke from the self service machine – it was out– and they brought it to me from behind the counter. Love the infinite choices beverage machine!

They keep improving the outside. But the people that work there always gety order wrong. I’ve been to lots of the locations. So o will go there. This place give me a headache.

Fast food is fast food there’s nothing you can do about crappy food… but the staff does NOT listen !!!

Well it’s fast food. I knowingly ingest unhealthy food here sometimes. I don’t ever review fast food establishments, but I felt compelled because during my latest visit (& EVERY SINGLE visit before) I have received the BEST customer service. Aside from in n out/​chick fil a — you don’t expect that from fast food. But the group of employees they have hired at this specific location have great personalities & are very warm & friendly !

The staff is so well trained, polite and cheerful. They always accommodate my special requests. The coffee is good. I just wish that they had a low cal breakfast option with toast.

Every Jack in the box I’ve been to has granted my request to only have curly fries in the munchie meal… This one doesn’t do any substitutions and charges $ 1 for extra nacho cheese on my sandwich…

I should not even give this palce one star. I went tonight to order 6 tacos and 1 junior bacon cheeseburger. The guy over the intercom does not take my order down properly and only charges me for the burger and 2 tacos. When I tell him I wanted 6 tacos. He hands me my bag. Once I get home, I realize that the idiot only gave me my tacos. I have tried to call 3 times since to speak to management and gotten hung up on twice and than heard a static the last time. I do not recommend this place who hires incompetent employees who cannot get a simple order correct.

WTF!!! Took 20 mins to get my TOGO order of 2 tacos and large curly fries?!! When I finally got it… the curly fries were small!!! My ice cream cake melted in the car just waiting for this gourment taco and curly fries meal of yours that was burnt outside and the meat inside!!! How the fuk do you mess up on microwave tacos!!! How does it take you 20 mins to microwave tacos!!! The worst part was the manager just laughed about the whole thing. Nice job… sent your corporate office 100 extreme complaints… goo luck finding a job dik! I guess you will be hashtagging this soon fuker: #unemployment Are you f*cking with me!!!

I live in los alamitos. And i have visited this jack in the box many times. Everytime i do visit this resturant i always see Ruthy. I believe she is a manager! She always has a smile on her face and is so polite! My food is always correct when ever she is helping out in store or drive thru! She needs to be recongnized!

This review has nothing to do with the food. I think we all know Jack in the Box food is pretty much the same at all locations.
My review is of the service at this location. By far the nicest, most accurate and professional fast food staff I’ve encountered. They actually seem happy you chose their store to spend your money at. In and Out sets the bar for fast food workers but the collection of people at this place is slightly better. I actually said to my wife after a recent visit «I don’t know who is managing that Jack in the Box but they are doing a heck of a job.»

It’s Okay…

Surprisingly for a fast food joint the service here is on point! Everyone is super friendly and professional. Completely at your service and very attentive. Kinda weird to be writing about a fast food chain but I thought their service was over the top.
The food is of course consistent with all the other locations.

Cleanest jacks I’ve ever been to in my life.
I ended up eating here while I waited for the pharmacy to open. The manager was soooo super friendly. It was pretty early when I got there and she was very kind. She very genuinely told me to have a good day as I walked out. Overall a great fast food eat-​in dining experience.

Open ²⁴⁄₇ but you always feel h0rrible when you eat there! Get the tacos! They’re cheap and don’t make you feel AS bad as the burgers!

This location sucks. There is always the same girl who works in the evening. I have to repeat my order several times each time I come here and my order is ALWAYS wrong. And when I try to explain that it is wrong she argues with me and tells me no this is exactly what you ordered. Go somewhere else.

Sadly this location has consistently sucked every time I’ve gone there. I was so pumped when I moved down the street from here. I love Jack-​In-​The-​Box and I’d finally be able to stop in after work without having to take a detour! Unfortunately I haven’t had a decent experience here once in the last year. This time, and what finally pushed me to write this review, they couldn’t even take my order at all. last time they gave me the wrong Munchie Meal, the time before they gave me two cheese sticks instead of the normal order of four. And these are just the last couple of times. The woman that works the drive through most nights is indifferent and rude when I try to get my order fixed. I guess the Inn-​In-​Out down the street is my go to night spot from now on.

Use to frequent Jack in the box all the time. As a vegetarian the one thing I could get is a croissant with egg and cheese. My kids would get the kids meals even though the liked Wendy’s better. I just went there and was informed that their policy has changed and I would need to pay for a supreme croissant and they would minus the meat. As a principal I will not do this. Vegetarians should not have to pay for meat. Guess this is the end of my long standing relationship with Jack in the box. I really wish there was a Burger king in the area. They at least are vegetarian friendly.

Oh Jack In The Box. We’ve never really been friends, you and I.
I typically stay away from most fast food places, but there are times when of course due to bad planning and convenience. It’s your only choice for food. That’s been the case with this Jack In The Box. Since moving to a different part of Long Beach, I find myself in the need to take the 605 South to the 405 North when going home. And since I was getting off work after 11pm, there wasn’t much open. So this was a good place for a quick bit on the way home. It then started becoming my go to place in the morning when I worked before 7am. So I ended up eating here more times than I would have liked to have. But you know what? The food isn’t all that bad. I grew fond of their steak and egg burritos.
Also there is one girl who I’ve been helped by in the drive-​thru, I think her name is Gaby and honestly, she is like the best drive-​thru person I have ever met. No matter when I’ve been there, she’s always happy and just has the nicest personality. She doesn’t ever sound like she’s having a bad day. Which is awesome. It makes your day a little better when you’re getting a bite to eat before work. :)

You may think it is strange that my partner in dine and I are reviewing a fast food restaurant. Yes, we have reviewed In ‘N Out several months back. We have frequented several JITB locations together from Redondo Beach, Oxnard, and here in Los Al. I chose to review this one because we were actually here twice in one evening! On a Saturday we had snacks in the early evening and back again later.
The cashier even recognized us from previously. She courteous and efficient.
JITB is a guilty pleasure. Inexpensive and consistently good fast food.
We love getting the two tacos for 99 cents. The sourdough burgers and the ultimate cheeseburgers are great.
There is plenty of parking as it is conveniently located in a strip mall. We will definitely return.
