I found this surgeon in a very random way. I wanted to get my hernia operated on as soon as I could after returning home from from Cleveland so I called my insurance company and asked for some names close to San Pedro. I was given a few names and I liked his last name the best because it’s similar to my mother’s maiden name. He practices in San Pedro a few days a month and a few days in Long Beach but this is his main office. Have you ever heard of Dr. Mo on KROQ’s Kevin and Bean show? Me neither, I listen to KPFK in the morning but this is that guy. He’s a really nice guy and a great doctor. I saw him at Clayton B Dejong’s office in Long Beach for my consultation and post surgery follow up. He came out to San Pedro to perform my hernia operation to make things convenient for me. He always tries to make the appointments as close to my house as possible. I don’t like going to the doctor at all but I like Dr. Heilbron. So much that I had him take a look at a lump on my back. He said it was a benign tumor and he could cut it out easily at his Los Alamitos office. That’s why I checked in here today. I was really impressed that he tried to place the incision in such a way that my tattoo wouldn’t look messed up. It was right in the middle of a giant foo dog so he had to cut through the ink but he did a nice job patching it back together. It was also nice to be able to chat with him during this procedure, I was under the last time he was cutting on me so I didn’t get any stories that time. I sincerely hope you don’t need surgery of any kind, but if you do this is your man.
