Wow! Love the pancakes. We WILL be back. Husband wished for waffles, but was very satisfied with his final decision.

Tom’s Depot is definitely a hidden gem sitting in a spot less traveled. It’s a classic dinner with good food and reasonable prices. Great place for breakfast and lunch that also serves Mexican food as well. Not the best burgers ever, but the breakfast food definitely competes or beats most places next to it.

Can be crowded, but don’t let that deter you! The service is fast and the food is great. We’ve been coming here for years. The pancakes are the best in town — especially the fruit filled varieties. Be sure to ask about their boysenberry pancake syrup, too! This place is a neighborhood standby not to miss.

This review is for food, prices and service. Food was very good. We made our own omelette with 3 veg, cheese and corned beef hash. They even split it for us since we are not big eaters. However we weren’t told that building your own omelette would be ridiculously expensive. We paid $ 15.50 for this creation and worse still were not informed anywhere on the menu or by our very pleasant waitress that this was the deal. The coffees were nothing special but were promptly refilled. The service was unhurried and consistent. The ambiance and vibe is dinery and nostalgic. We will be back but will be careful while ordering.

8 for brunch after a hike, service kept us hydrated, great food that everyone enjoyed. Added extra mushrooms to my Machaca w/no added cost.

I am a big fan of 2 things: 1. Good food 2. Old school style spots that have the chairs, tables, stools and décor of the 50’s This place has both. Also, incredible ice cream. Bravo guys! I dig your place!

Non-fancy, old-style brunch place. We were hoping for amazing food. Sorely disappointed. Food was just ok. Not great at all. My biggest disappointment was how their hash browns are. No salt and mushy. Much better brunch places in the neighborhood.

We came here for the first time this morning. The food was delicious! Everything was fresh, well seasoned, good portions. The staff was very friendly and warm on Thanksgiving day. We’ll return.

Toms is an awesome spot for breakfast and I swear they have the best burritos! They are the best burritos in the bay and I usually get one to eat while there and another to go! Staff is always awesome! Customer for life!!!

Toms Depot is my family’s classic diner. Though diners seem to be more of an east coast thing, Tom’s depot perfectly fills that spot here. Never disappointing, my family goes for their classic egg dishes. I typically order the #7 corned beef hash that comes with bread and hash browns(delicious!). My brother recently got Antonio’s Scramble which was also great. A great place that has been a stable part of my life for 10+ years!

In this diner deprived region of the country, Toms is a welcome oasis in a desert of Asian restaurants and fast food. Is it a NYC diner? No. But they serve great breakfast and really high quality lunch for a very reasonable price(also unusual for this valley unless you want fast food…). And the service is extra nice with longstanding wait staff who will likely remember you months later. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or even as a breakfast destination.

–Very friendly and quick service. –Great food. The pancakes and French toast were amazing. The omelette is ENORMOUS and delicious. –Can order a milk shake or ice cream soda with your food because they offer 8 flavors of ice cream. –I enjoyed the low key and casual atmosphere.

Met a friend here for brunch. This is my hometown so I’m a little biased. I love the small town feel and the diner atmosphere… The food was pretty good and the service was great. If you sit outside they let you bring your dogs! Perfect place to enjoy a cup of joe and catch up with a friend… And eat yummy«home cooked» meals! I’ll be back!

I come here before school with my friends often and we all enjoy eating there. It has good food and it’s pretty cheap. Once I found that my pancakes were a little spicy for some reason, but they willingly gave us another plate. Their service is ok(they forgot my friend’s order) but they’re all really nice. Tom’s Depot is a great place to hangout though!

The pancakes are really good and you can have different types on one plate they are very flexible here! You can order 3 sausages and nothing else. That is awesome!!! This review is by Stone and Cash– age 7

I’m surprised this place doesn’t have better reviews! This place has been a staple for years since one of my best friends lives nearby. I’ve only come here for brunch but I really like it. Simple, no frills dinner with delicious brunch items. I love the omelettes and the pancakes — they’re definitely filling and satisfying! Half the price of most brunch places and just as good quality. Pro tip: They serve Marianne’s ice cream!

Nothing special. The ingredients were not fresh, and the prices were a little expensive. However, there was no wait and it was close to home.

Review for new dinner service! During the week Tom’s is now serving dinner, which you would only know if you saw the sign(its not on the website). Both the food and the service are excellent. We ordered the mexican specialties, which I think is the way to go. We got fresh hot chips and salsa(really a recently made pico d gailo) which were really good! The kids got tacos that they loved. With the ice cream counter it makes an easy single stop destination. No alcohol yet, which is tough for a friday night, but maybe you could bring over a beer from next door(I didn’t want to get reprimanded by my wife for trying this). Service seemed much friendlier than I have seen in the morning to boot.
