The store itself is a great find, but the fact that Lucky the dog is there to greet you is even better! We stopped at this place on a whim because I needed to pick up a birthday card and wanted something out of the ordinary. With a quick glance at their window display, I figured this spot would fit the bill and we proceeded inside. As Katie B perused the jewelry, I was more focused on Lucky and getting his backstory. I know — priorities. The owner rescued him and he loves to chase squirrels and cats — make sure to give him a few scratches if you decide to visit. The space had soaps, jewelry, one-of-a-kind greeting cards, home décor and more. It’s a good sized store and they have everything laid out nicely so that it’s very visually appealing. Prices are a little higher, but you’re supporting a great local business while getting something you couldn’t buy at a box box retailer. They have some cool cards for a variety of occasions. They’re all blank inside so you can create a custom message or scribe that heartfelt note to convey all the feelings you have. After pawing through a number of items, I settled on a cute card to present my co-worker. I was happy with the help and the owner went out of her way to make you feel welcome. I’d love to come back for more cards and gifts the next time in DTLA!

What a DTLA gem! This is indeed the spot one needs when in search of something special, either as a gift or just a pick-me-up! The collection of lifestyle items and accessories is both lovely and diverse. Turkish towels and beautiful bags produced from vintage Japanese denim. Terrariums, jewelry, fragrance, and the list goes all. All well curated and displayed in picture perfect order. I like. And I’ll be back!

I really liked going to this store and appreciate their selection. The owner is awesome and friendly. And, I found this Japanese textile I’ve been hunting for!
