Gross! This place creeps me out, and unlike all the other 1* reviews, my car wasn’t even towed. This whole place just has a ratty semi-unsafe vibe. There’s also a cluster of seriously down and out/possibly koo-koo for cocoa puffs dudes hanging out by the bus station. I was walking by at about 4pm with my laptop bag and a guy came up to me and said«I could cut that off your arm and steal it, but I don’t need to because I’m a pimp, I make more money than you!» I’m new to LA and I’m an actor, dude. You definitely make more money than me. I just live the credit card dream and don’t hang out at bus stops screaming at people. ps: I don’t know if there’s bike parking here or not. I’m just going to say no because I wouldn’t park a bike here unless I wanted it stolen. Park further north on Vermont street.

Went to Public House for lunch… needed to pick up some items at Rite Aid. Decided to do a little more shopping and strolled to the nearby Radio Shack and small clothing stores. I come out and my car is gone. Apparently I stayed longer than they like — I tried calling everywhere — the towing company was acutally friendly and explained that someone in charge had called the two in… I will never go there again — scary to think soemone is lurking in the bushes to take your car(tow)

Tow away fraud at Barnsdall Square Shopping Plaza. They tow your car, in my case on 9÷8÷10 in under half an hour. I broke my glasses and was on my way to the optometrist at the Plaza where I am a customer for over 15 years. Since I had to leave work early for that I had skipped lunch and was starving. Around 3.25 I parked on the lot, ran around the corner to grab something at Subway and when back at 3.50PM my car was gone. Mohamed told me they towed me because I went to Kaiser. NO, I went for some food because checking my eyes and fitting a new frame can take easily an hour and a half. After I cached a ride with the next(!) tow truck I had to pay $ 255, drove back to my appointment with my optometrist who sent me to the manager’s office(closed) where I found another woman in the same situation. We called the police who were helpful but had no authority on a private parking lot. However they negotiated with the suppervisor that I was going to get my money back and the other lady could pick up her car for free. The police than drove the other lady to the tow truck company and with the police standing next to her they changed their story. She had to pay, I did not get my money back. Small claim will be next, both of us. Police will testify. This is a scam going on for a while.(Yes, the supervisor was an older Latino man as told in another review) Stop shopping at this rip the customers of «Plaza».
