Went by here three times, truck wasn’t there any of the times. Location is probably wrong or it moved.

I don’t want to make«best taco truck in LA» claims, but then again, I wouldn’t eat here as often as I do if I didn’t love it – especially since there is no shortage of taco trucks and restaurants in the area. The ONLY complaint is that service is a bit slow, but that’s hardly a complaint because the food is fresh and made to order… and it’s well worth the wait! Prices are the standard«can’t beat this/better than spending the same for fast food» prices. BTW, the truck is not on Vermont… it’s actually on the a small side street(Barsndall) off Vermont, right between Kaiser Permanente and the strip mall. But parking is always available, so it’s easy to pop in, place your order and take it home or back to work or wherever.

I’m gonna be bold and give this stand 5 stars… you know why? The line speaks for itself, plus a number of my co-workers heart this truck despite the number of options that surround the local area. I tried their burrito with pollo. 5 bucks, to go, with red hot sauce on the side. –Tortilla, perfectly cooked and slightly browned –chicken, breast mostly, in a green sauce. awesome –beans, rices, cheese and cilantro and onions with some tomatoes –hot sauce, spicy and gooooooood I’m glad I didn’t get anything else but this for lunch. For 5 bucks, the burrito was average in size, but the flavor and portion/ratio of all the ingredients were perfect. Let’s just say I was glad that I forgot my lunch at home. This will have to be on my top 5 list of places to eat when I do forget it next time…

The Cubano Torta and Al Pastor tacos are highly recommended. I live in the sticks so I’m not used to ordering from food trucks and I’m definitely not used to seeing them. So when I’m in LA, I make it a point to try them whenever possible. Huarache Azteca serves up some good grub. What I really like is that they prepare every meal fresh. Nothing seems to be pre-made and I like that. Yes; the wait can be excruciating if you’re on your lunch break or ridiculously hungry, but it’s worth the wait. And of course it’s cash only! Just be careful of the bums…

So I was going through the area and decided to stop back to try some Pork tacos, guess I was too early for them as they did not have the Carnitas ready :( So I opted for 2 Al Pastor y 1-Asada Taco, Ahhh the Carne Asada was still good as I remember but unfortunately I was not thrilled with the Al Pastor, by the looks of it I’m sure they cook it on a flat top and there’s not enough adobo sauce, you do get nice size chunks of meat but you just don’t get the flavor like it should be. I would sat just the Al Pastor is probably a 3-Star, so sorry LLego El Sabor I’m gonna have to take away 1-Star from you!
