My fiancée hired Melissa to help me organize my closet and I couldn’t be happier! I’m a bit of a scatter brain and I struggle with keeping my things organized. Melissa came in and completely changed my life! I can actually find the things I need and that gives me a sense of calm I didn’t have before. My fiancée is a bit of a clean freak so he is thrilled! Thank you Melissa for working your magic :)

Melissa is a god send!!! After a crazy stressful move cross country from NYC and in desperate need of some unpacking /​organizing help, Melissa swooped in and completely took over my wardrobe. Not only did she clean house and (happily) force me to get rid of clothing that I had holding on to for far too long, she got my closet and dressers in tip top shape! Melissa saved me an incredible amount of time and effort and set me up to keep my wardrobe and accessories in order… rather then their normal haphazard state!

I am going to write more about it but I wanted to post a little bit today while I am still all fired up. I am committed to being honest, as you know if you read my writing (

I had a lot of shame about how I live: in chaos, mess, stress. I let no one come over.
I am open about how disorganized I am– I joke about it all the time, but it’s a very real thing for me. It causes me unending amounts of stress.
Anyway, I finally decided to do something about it so I hired Chataigne Style Studio (@chataignestyle)come over and overhaul my closet. I was terrified. Change is scary!
She came in with zero judgment. She did say that she thought I was a crazy genius and it reminded her of the film «A Beautiful Mind» because she had NO IDEA how I could possibly get anything done with how I was living and without any system. Nor do I! She as firm but loving and funny as hell. She made me get rid of things I had been holding on to, things I had been clinging to that simply were not serving my life any longer. My face hurt from laughing. Listen: I NEVER let people into my space so this was a very big deal.
Melissa is amazing.
I will walk to the end of the earth and back to get you to know of her because what she did for me in a couple of hours was truly life-​changing.
She has a gift.
I don’t know if you live in L.A. but holy mother of all dirty laundry, this woman is a gift. I have no words. This will not be the last of my posts.
Side note: I am holding myself accountable by posting these pictures. I intend to create new habits as mine were so not working for me. I am tired of living in chaos.

I highly recommend Melissa for styling advice. She has a great eye, and she knows how to help you develop your own personal style. She’s great at picking pieces that flatter your particular body type, and showing you how to step outside your comfort zone a little, while still maintaining the looks you love. Oh, and she knows how to do this on a budget! Plus, she’s a lot of fun to work with — so positive and energetic. Definitely a must!

Melissa is incredible. She not only helped me clean out my closet, she gave me tips on how to put outfits together in ways I would never have imagined. She showed me that even though I prefer t-​shirts and jeans, I can still be fashionable and sexy. She works with your style and doesn’t try to change it, just fine tune it so that you dress as your «best self». She also was a magician and organized my closet to perfection. Go see this woman!!!

Though I’m NYC-​based, I always turn to Melissa for styling advice! She’s got a wonderful eye for what will look amazing. She listens to your likes, and dislikes and what you’re comfortable in. She has always guided me spot-​on!

I was moving to London for a year, and Melissa went through my entire closet to help me bring the best of the best AND identify the basics I needed to buy. I gave away 4 garbage bags of clothes, and spent about $ 150 on the new basics that helped bring together several outfits. While you would think you’d have to buy a bunch of new stuff for a year abroad, turns out you simply need to hire Melissa, the closet-​makeover maven. Not only will she help you part with those sorry work clogs you’ve worn for 7 years, she’ll show you the way to a better made and better looking pair (of decidedly NOT clogs). Melissa guides you gently, and with enthusiasm, to the renewed-​closet light.
Seriously though– hiring Melissa is giving yourself the maximum benefit of your wardrobe for a fraction of what you paid for it. Stop waiting and do it!

Melissa SAVED me earlier this year when I was packing for a trip. She went through my closet with me, organized exactly what I needed (vs all that I wanted to bring) and chose the perfect mix and match outfits for my travels. I would have NEVER been able to pair the outfits together, but her vision was laser-​focused and made me not only the best dressed one on the trip, but the one with the smallest, most efficient suitcase. I wore every single thing she packed for me, with no extra clothes to regret bringing.
