Chinatown Express

As mentioned by other Unilocalers, this place is under new management. Not only their food taste yummy (also very affordable), but their customer service is excellent, nothing like the old management. I could tell that they’re really trying to fix the mess the previous owners made and I hope everyone will give this place a chance. I will definitely come back again. Love supporting family owned small businesses. Keep up with the good work.

This place takes me back every time i set foot in it, been eating from here since the 80′$. It has benn trough different owners thought the years i dont think any of them have ever been as good as back in the day, but this previous new owners seem to do better than the last ones i read the negative reviews on of the rude lady that was there, well she is no longer there so feel free to stop by. before thw food wasn’t doing it for me thats why i stoped going now food seems to be alot better and fresher the only thing i would like is to see more porky dishes please other than that they get the
4 stars.

This place is under NEW Managment. I received awesome customer service and it seems like the new owners are really trying to turn this place around. Bravo.
I visited Chinatown express a couple of weeks ago when I was craving some fast Chinese. It was also raining outside and I was exhausted from work. After doing some research on Unilocal,I decided to try their new stuff out.
The menu has been upgraded and food is cooked fresh. I came in toward the end of the night and although I didn’t get to see the full landscape of everything they offer I was told they can cook any dishes fresh for me. I also love that they have cream cheese wontons ($ 3.19)
Parking: Same parking lot as 7 eleven. I found a spot easy.
Food: I order a 3 item combo that included fried rice and chow mein, orange chick, spicy jalapeño chicken, and bbq pork. Below are my ratings, keep in mind this review is based on places similar and with the same price range.
Fried rice (2.5÷5): I added some soy sauce to it and refried it and it was good. I do wish it had a few more veggies but also for the price it’s a steal
Chow mein– (3.5÷5): It was good. I enjoyed it. Again I’m must more of a lo mein boy. Still a solid choice.
Orange Chicken: (⁴⁄₅): They definitely use fresh chicken which is really good. I really like this chicken. Some pieces were a bit over done but for the most part very good and consistent.
Bbq Pork: (4.5÷5) This was really really good. The meat was nice and tender. One of my favorite menu items. Will for sure get this.
I hope more people will support local and give them a chance. It’s family run. Go try it and see for yourself.

Cheap for the amount of food. I’m a poor student. Get more bang for the buck here lol

This place has really bad food, I mean I can’t stress that enough.
But if you must go know that if there is a Latina woman working there walk back out, she is just awful.
Just walk across the street to Yoshinoya, good customer service, and a lot healthier than this place.

Depending on person who works at times. If it’s a Mexican lady. Step out. If Asian lady. Buy… She will hook you up unlike the stingy fat Mexican one

Worst place ever the food sucks it was cold and the service was really bad never coming back I hate this place.

Cheap chinese food.

I’ve been to this place before and I couldn’t tell you how good it was since it was sooooo long ago. What I can tell you is that now, the place is better off with new management and the food is quite good with affordable prices. Make sure to get the card which they add stamps and when you reach your 10 stamp, you get a free combo, not a bad deal. The staff is friendly and I will be coming back often.
