Einstein’s is my once a week splurge with my SIL. I always come in early, around 7am so it’s always clean. I will say that I’ve seen and been in some very long lines. It’ll take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes for a bagel. I used to always get the nova lox bagel, since I have an obsession with salmon, but since the salmon barely covers the bagel, I stopped getting it. Also, getting some extra lox will cost you $ 5! My SIL likes the power protein with pb and bananas, but they’ve been out of it sometimes, which is annoying. Since then, I’ve tried several of their other bagels and have been getting their twist and dip. Its a plain bagel that you twist off and get 2 choices of shmear to dip. It’s been a regular for me, til I got 2 of the same shmear by mistake. So that $ 4 for a plain bagel with shmear… I get mistakes happen, but it wasn’t busy, and my order wasn’t at all complicated. My boss went it and had trouble getting correct change in cash, it took a worker and the manager to figure it out(they gave him incorrect change anyways). Their bagels are great, and I love their variety, but the workers need to step it up a bit. There is a girl there that calls everyone«babe» that’s always super friendly, so I guess that’s a plus.

The staff is welcoming and incredible. Honestly the greatest bagel place in Westwood, and there’s a ton of them. A quiet place to study for all UCLA students, the wifi is fast, and the coffee is strong! Coming to this place is necessary for some stress relief.

It’s a sad day when someone can’t take a single bagel order. We ordered 2 bagels. The girl didn’t understand nor confirmed our order at the end so I got my bagel and we sat around like idiots waiting for my fiancées bagel. Thanks girl with dark hair and black rimmed glasses.

We stop by to get bagels weekly on Saturdays. Today I stopped by and ordered as usual but I wanted a bit more of cream cheese on my wife’s bagel and she cut me off while I was trying to explain that there wasn’t enough cream cheese, and repeatedly said it was $ 1.50 for more cream cheese.

Originally from Chicago and a Member of the Tribe, Einstein’s is never my bagel of choice for me. My daughter loves the place and it’s her favorite bagel. You cant beet the $ 6 dozen bagels on Monday. So why 5 stars??? Toni!!! Yes, they have an employee who remembers my daughters name every time we go in. She even remembers her order… Not that we go in all that often. Always a big smile and a friendly voice. Toni — you rock!!!

We came here to grab a coffee and some food while I was getting an oil change down the street. I expected it to be busy because it was a Saturday morning. I didnt expect us to wait as long as we did for our bagel sandwiches. We ordered and got our lattes right away but the bagels took(no joke) about 20 mins to come out. They do not cook the food on the spot and I know this because there wasnt a grill and I seen them warming and toasting everything. We waited and waited… They made several mistakes on others orders which caused us to have to wait for our food longer. I counted at least 4 – 6 people working. 2 girls were doing the same job at one point and no one was taking orders. I worked for Starbucks for 8 years as a manager and I see some serious deployment issues. The pros were that the bagel sandwiches were tasty and the lattes were good too despite the fact that my cup had about ¼ cup of foam. It was just okay. I think my experience would have been better had the accuracy and service time been better.

The service is horrible. depending on who makes your sandwich it will have different ingredients. Employees are not trained properly. Two times they have forgotten about my order and no even a simple apology. Very disappointed.

Good, friendly, fast service but pricey. $ 1.50 for schmear, which I got little of on my 9 grain bagel. My bagel was fresh but dry. They do have a large selection of bagels. The store was clean. Like Noah’s, they have some pastries and coffee. If you’re into pumpkin, they have seasonal pumpkin drinks On Monday there is a special for a dozen bagels. There is some parking available in the back or on street.

I’ll give this place a one star because my bagel was actually good. The problem with this place is they continue to hire employees that do not give a shit. No greeting when you walk in, no one at the register because they’re outside smoking, the person preparing your bagel can’t turn around and acknowledge you, too lazy to brew more decaffeinated coffee and this place is filthy. It’s a real dump! Too bad because I really love the food.

I don’t know why they call their bagels bagels. They are actually Keiser rolls and not even good Keiser rolls. If you eat it not toasted it tastes stale. If you eat it toasted it has a chemical after taste. Overall nothing impressive about their bagels. Bagels should be made by atisan bakers who know what reall bagels are and not by people who are in it just for the money especially when they have no clue how to make the product they promote. Einstein Brothers should hire a real bagel maker, revamp their bagel operation and reopen as an authentic bagel place. Great locations though.

Here on a Sunday, no one is here. Service was awesome, helped me decide on what to get. Then the rush came!!! I’m glad I came in because Pumpkin bagel is in town. Have it with the hazelnut mocha in frozen version and it’s fantastic. Toni and her crew are super sweet!

The bagels were fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. Got a mixed dozen and just let the cashier pick the most popular ones. The main reason I had to was because their case/counter was almost empty, so I had no clue how to order. The cashier was friendly and helpful, but it would have been better if the bagels were out on display rather than on racks in the back when I couldn’t see them clearly. Whatever. Bagels were awesome, the employees were nice, and I’ll be happy to come back soon.

Was so excited when this store was finally built. I can only stand to come in every no and then now because of how awful this store is operated. Time and again the staff isn’t evenly deployed so it takes 10+ minutes to order and even longer to actually get your bagel. My normal order is blueberry bagel with a generous helping of strawberry cream cheese(for no extra charge). Today they tried charging me $ 1.50 more — they were«low on inventory» so they had to charge. I said forget it bc an extra teaspoon wasn’t worth that much. I got my bagel and it had regular cream cheese. They rolled their eyes and grunted at me. Get this: as I stood next to the counter for my new bagel one of the workers tried to throw it away but another told her not to and she scraped off the cream cheese and reused it on another bagel. Let me remind you — This is a bagel I already touched and opened up. And another worker tried to throw away. DISGUSTING. The bagel was then thrown away and all I could think was that they wanted to charge me extra for cream cheese bc they didn’t have enough, but they could still afford to throw away an entire bagel — that worker should be docked the cost of a bagel from her paycheck. The chick ended up giving me my correct order and then looked at the screen and said«oh, it was strawberry cream cheese!» DUH. No need for the eye roll because you can’t read. This trip was the final straw and i will not be coming back to this Einsteins Bagels. There’s plenty of other places where I can find a better experience.

I stop here on average once a week for a bagel on my way to work, and I have to say that service has consistently gone downhill. I was here earlier, and was the only customer. There is one gal who works here who is seriously one of the most unfriendliest people I’ve ever interacted with. She never smiles, doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t give you a greeting, or a closing when she’s done taking your order. Anyway, this morning I watched her take about 8 people’s orders as the line got longer and longer, and no one from the back came to take orders or make orders. She finally stopped taking orders to slap some bagels together, and when I say slap, I mean it literally looks like she slapped some cream cheese on and tossed my bagel in the bag. It also was not double toasted like I ordered, it actually doesn’t taste like it was toasted at all. Waiting over 10 minutes for a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese is not the biz, and I’m not sure I’ll come here again. There are plenty of other bagel places in the area that have their shit together AND are friendly and personable.

I can’t actually write a review based on the quality of the food as I never got any. I entered the near-empty store, stood at the counter with my son, watched an employee stock items at the coffee bar, another take inventory of the bagels and another make a coffee drink. No one greeted us, or attempted to take our order. We stood there, apparently invisible, for a good 10 minutes. People lined up behind us, still no acknowledgment that anyone had entered the restaurant. My son and I left eventually, no one — with the exception of the gentleman behind us who walked out with us, seemed to notice, or care. I used to work for Einsteins(another location, different state) and I know their policy on customer service. This wasn’t it.

They seem to have gone down hill since changing managers. Out of stock on many bagels at lunch time. Only the manager working. Taking orders then continuing to take orders making people wait before he even begins making the sandwich. I saw one other employee in the back, but he was too busy eating to help. Hope he was on break, but didn’t feel great to have an employee eating his lunch on the kitchen area where food was prepared. Sure hope it gets back on track as I really like what they have to offer.

From entrance it’s clear this. Chain bagel store does not have its act together. From long lines to order, the manager waited until a long line passes to come help move it along. Bad service because they don’t know any better. Go elsewhere this place just bakes frozen bagels from their main manufacturing plant anyway.

The bagels are decent here. The problem is with the staff. This is the 10th time I’ve come into this location and nothing has changed. Everyone has a shit attitude. They never remember your order, they make it the way that is most convenient for them. I’m done with the people here.

I really like the variety of the schmear along with a display of different bagel types to choose from. Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty good but a bit pricey. They have a parking lot in the back which is meter parking and plenty of spaces where it’s not hard to stop by. Will be here more often for my breakfast bagel!

Stopped in Einstein Bros Bagels while running errands in West LA. I got the Cranberry Bagel, with extra crème cheese, and an Autumn Roast Coffee. I loved the coffee, I thought it was one of the best tasting coffees I have had in a long time. And the crème cheese and bagel they served were both very fresh and tasty. The bagel shop is really large, with lots of tables. I sat inside and had my delicious bagel before I had to run out and run more errands.
