Great discovery in the heart of KTown! If you love Korean comfort food (noodles and rice dishes) for very cheap this is your place.

I am an official jjamppong and jajangmyeon addict. I wouldn’t have believed it 6 months ago, but I guess I wasn’t eating the best jjamppong and jajangmyeon there was to offer and Hong Kong Banjum specializes in these 2 dishes.
Their jjamppong is so comforting and satisfying. It’s a seafood noodle soup in this delicious, spicy-​looking red broth. I can’t even explain what the broth tastes like, but it’s delicious! Trust me. The noodles are made fresh daily, and there’s calamari and a heaping of veggies. This is probably really good for curing hangovers.
Their jajangmyeon is the best jajangmyeon I ever had. You can trust me on this too, because I used to hate jajangmyeon. Theirs is served with sauteed veggies and pork, and lots of noodles.
Everytime I come, I can’t pick one without the other. It always has to be jjamppong AND jajangmyeon. Of course, I can’t eat all of it by myself… the portions are huge. I always share… because sharing is caring right? :)
