I’ve been coming here for 8years and they never fail to satisfy my craving for Chinese food. The food is great, consistent quality, and great for small and big party.

We used this location for a meeting and that’s the basis for my 3 star review. If you need a place for a dinner meeting, this is a pretty good spot as they have a ton of meeting rooms. The location is relatively central and valet parking is cheap for this area. ($ 2) They were also pretty friendly which you don’t always get in Koreatown.
The food is just so so and I think they overdo it on the sauces. Better seasoning would help. I did enjoy the black bean noodle but otherwise things ranged from forgettable to just okay. If it was just food, I would give this place 2 stars.
Also, when it comes time to leave, it will take awhile to get out of valet which is a hassle.

Best chajiangmyun and tangsooyook I’ve had in Koreatown so far. The tangsooyook is just crunchy enough, not super chewy like other places around here, more what I’m expecting. Perfect portion sizes for my wife and I. She got the small.

This is my favorite go to restaurant in LA. I crave the food here at least once a day. I always order a bowl of and without bone. It’s SO good! Can’t wait to go back!

I have gone to this restaurant about 10 times since it’s one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Koreatown. The restaurant is pretty good for Chinese food. Definitely don’t go there if you’re looking for nice ambience though. If you use any of the banquet rooms, they’re all on the dark and dingy side. That’s good if that’s what you’re looking for.

This place looks clean but the food had hair twice my visit. Not going here again. Their service is decent and the food isn’t horrible but why here? You have other options.

I really tried to like this place… because my fiancé prefers it over all of the other Korean-​Chinese restaurants. But after one hair-​in-​the-​rice incident, I needed a lonnnng break: Half a year to be exact. I recently overcame my trauma and gave it another try… and let’s just say they lost a customer for life. I pulled out this gem… out of my mouth… when it should’ve been just jjampong noodles up in there :(

Came here on a Sunday around 2pm the place was a bit empty and we were seated fast (we were 10 people) Saturday’s are when there most busy and it just gets crazy.
The waiter we had was a young guy I believe his name was Eric…
He was very patient and was always attentive to us. You know it’s not always easy serving big groups but he served us really well.

The food is average. The service is on point. Theres always someone standing and watching like a security guard. The atmosphere is a little bit more up scale then other chinese korean places.

This Chinese/​Korean restaurant has been open ever since I was little!
Their food is tasty — comparable to Young King a couple of streets over, though Young King is superb!
My friends and I ordered the Chinese cold noodle soup. You mix hot mustard and peanut butter into the soup and though it sounds strange, it’s rather good. If you’re daring, I’ll dare you to try.
We also ordered a side of shrimp — sweet and savory and a great addition to our meal! Shrimp was called kkam pong shrimp!
There is valet parking in the back. It does get really crowded during busy hours so … Good luck! Street parking can get tough too since its on a pretty busy street.
The big downside to this restaurant is the service. Some of the waitresses are so so so rude! One of them literally rushed my friends while eating. How dare she pick up our dishes when we weren’t even finished!
I hope their service gets better.

By far I think this is the best chinese rest so far in la !!

This is our family’s go-​to spot for decent Chinese/​Korean food. It’s especially good for large family gatherings – they have separate rooms you can reserve in advance. We’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember, and food quality and taste have stayed the same year after year.
My Chinese boyfriend is not a fan of the food, to say the least, but I (Korean) think it’s solid and prices are reasonable too. Side dishes (kimchi and onions) look a little old and dry but the food appears somewhat fresh. My favorites are the fried shrimp and Mapo tofu.
Service is fast and if not, there’s a bell service in each room to call someone whenever needed.
Also, no cakeage fee! We split a cake for 15 people and they brought out plates and did the cutting for us. They did give us old candles to use, which we kindly passed.
There is valet parking in the back for $ 2 but street parking is free after 6 pm!

— Better & More variety menus! ! (They have more complicated seafood/​duck/​other ingredient dishes and they taste so good!) You should try their Seafood+ Feast that serves about 10−12ppl and try their lobster, abalone, sea cucumber, special clams, etc. It is about $ 500 for the entire table.
— their simple dishes are good, too (I love their Chinese style cold noodle in summer)
— Only minus factor is the Parking in the back

Their seafood dishes are the best. Order their palboche (assorted seafood dish). Their shrimp, scallops, and mussels are huge and the flavor is on point. Definitely tastes like authentic Chinese food similar to what I’ve had when I visited Beijing. We also ordered my favorite jja jang Myung and jjambbong. The jjambbong wasn’t as good as other places I’ve tried in ktown but they give you a ton of seafood which is a huge plus.
This is the place to go if you enjoy seafood and want authentic Chinese food!

Good variety of Chinese/​Korean food for big parties. They have private rooms. We got different plates including jellyfish, Mongolian beef, scallop, shrimp, sweet bun, etc. I love how they give you the old school sugary, sweet potato for desert. Yum! Haven’t had this kind of food in awhile! Valet parking is $ 2.

Kind of an incomplete translation of the restaurant name. It’s called «Yong Goong» (Dragon Palace) but for whatever reason, they call it just «The Dragon» in English.
This place has been around forever! I like it here because they give you a lot of food for your money and I love great values. The lunch specials are very good and priced around $ 10. The service is kind of quirky. I guess you can say they are friendly. But all of the servers wear those earpieces like those FBI agents wear. I’m not sure what they are saying to each other but sometimes it’s unnerving. I’m not paranoid. Really!
You can try to park on the street if you feel lucky, but most likely you’ll end up valeting your car in the back alley for $ 2 plus tip. Also, if you’re not religious and come here on a Sunday, come earlier than noon, or else you’re gonna run into the Korean church crowd right after they get out.

Been coming here since I was a child. Some of the best Chinese food in Los Angeles. The service is amazing!!! Always has been. Always clean, food is brought to the table fast and hot. They’re always making sure you have everything you ordered and anything else you might need. Prices are good for the quality of the food. A must try.

Being a huge jja jang myun addict I had to have a bowl while visiting L.A. My bfs cousin said it was better than my favorite spot in Annandale, VA. On that note ventured out here for lunch. Ordered mandoo (fried dumpling), tang Soo yuk (we opted for the beef, fried), and a bowl of jja jang myun. I always order pork tang Soo yuk but decided to try this one out. It was really good! The mandoo was stuffed with meat and nicely fried. They also gave a side of kimchi, and your regular jja jang myun side items.
The jja jang myun itself was good but VA is def better. No comparison. The noodles were a little too soft and the sauce was slightly more watery than I liked. Taste wise it was better than most of the places in Philly. Ha ha. This place does have better tang Soo yuk and mandoo though. I’ll give them that.

We came for my birthday and my fiancé and his family made this recommendation because the restaurant has rooms that large parties can reserve. Our families met for the first time so we wanted something a little more formal and the private rooms were perfect! This is smack dab in the middle of K-​town so if you’re looking for private rooms with decent food in K-​town, then you’re at the right place.
I really enjoyed the food but they made me really thirsty (like your typical Asian food) and the service was great! I particularly liked the beef dish we ordered. We ordered the prix fixe menu for 10 people (the A package). They had many different prix fixe menus. They are advertised as a Chinese restaurant but the food is a fusion of Chinese and Korean. They gave us some kim-​chi and some picked radishes as our Korean side dishes.
Valet parking is $ 2 (I forgot to give them tip because there was a long line and they hustled us out of the lot) and you drive through to the back of the building and leave your car with the attendant. The attendants literally park the car right there in front of you so your car is nearby.
I’d totally come back if I am in the area!

I must agree with all the points my friend Esther K made in her review. This Sino-​Korean restaurant’s food is very mediocre and forgetful. I’ve had much better outside of KTown, so. That shows how «meh» it is. The jajangmyun is mediocre in flavor, kinda watery actually. All the dishes are on the mild side, which I guess is good if the cook assumes he’s cooking for a bunch of ppl with hypertension…
The restaurant is clean and more on the formal than some Asian restaurants.
Service was ok, except one of the waitresses wouldn’t let us order another dish… What?! Why?! Not acceptable. You let me eat however much I want to eat! I’m paying you! This is America! ‘Murica! Anyway…
