Limited menu but decent food. Around the corner from my place so it’s convenient. Parking is tight in this little plaza. As is in every ktown plaza lol. Try meter on the street if you can grab any.

On our way back home(LAX area) from California Donuts, we decided to have lunch here with my wife & kids. Well let me tell you. Just became a big fan of their Pan-fried Glass Noodles w/pork over rice. My wife ordered the Spicy seafood soup, which was large enough for two. Although they were out of dumplings, I guess that will be my excuse to be back. two thumps up Lee’s Noodles…

Decided to eat at this place because it has a parking lot!(Self parking on the weekday I think) Lol true story, but I did turn out to love the dining experience and the food. The place is clean and modern and the service is great. Food came out really fast and the black bean noodles is descent.

Wow — excellent pan fried dumplings. Amazing selection of pickles that come with your meal. Chicken wings were great — very spicy. Best was the black bean noodles — yummy. I would highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the area — what I imagine Korean comfort food to be. Service is excellent and quick.

Love how you can order all 3 – noodles, boba, fried chicken – from the same menu. Simple menu and quick service. Black bean noodles came with a generous heap of the black bean sauce. Not traditional. Semi sweet flavor. Perfect amount of chewiness. Pork dumplings were unimpressive. Skin was too thin, and filling lacked distinct flavor. Tasted mushy. I enjoyed their white vinegar very much. Funny how the soy sauce tasted like black vinegar! Both very good. I would recommend the Thai tea if you have a sweet tooth! Valet parking. Downside of LA

After reading about Lee’s noodles from an online blog, I really wanted to try this place. Coming on a Friday night around 8, there was plenty of street parking if you’re willing to walk a block near the Galleria just down the street. If not, Valet was there for the typical cheap price. We got 3 things, the spicy seafood soup, the black bean noodles and kim chi dumplings. The noodles on both orders were really good; chewy and thin. The skin on the dumplings was also thin and something I would order again. I didn’t like the black bean noodles because it was overly sweet. I don’t eat this dish often but I’ve had better. The spicy seafood soup was good but there was a LOT of white onion. We paid $ 3 for extra noodles which seems expensive to me. Even with the extra cost, I think I’ll be coming back here again.

Down in koreatown, easy to miss since its in a strip mall, buy totally worth going. Yummy dumplings ! And the owners, Don and his wife are so sweet and gave me a chai iced boba tea — it was the best one I’ve had, super creamy, thick and chocolate tasting ! Definitely check them out !

Excellent start. I arrived right before valet set up shop and started charging lol. We sat on a long table next to another pair hungry individuals, which was nice. Service was fast. Highly recommend fried dumplings and some wings. Yum! Price was reasonable. Food was delicious. Stamp of approval! I’ll be back.

Came back to try the buffalo drumsticks and they were much more satisfying and way bigger than the teeny wings. Steamed pork dumplings were as good as I remembered. The spicy seafood noodles and the black bean noodles are probably one of the best in Koreatown. Chicken wings are puny. Tried both the plain fried wings as well as the soy garlic. Not bad but not dying to try them again either. The jjajangmyun(black bean noodles) tasted handmade and had an al dente texture. Reminded me of my favorite instant JJM, Jjawang. Dumplings were also freshly handmade. Kimchi dumplings were mild~ not spicy at all. The texture of the dumpling skins and the noodles have me hooked! Will update after I try their jjampong(spicy seafood noodle) that the waitress recommended.

Last month my co-workers and I wanted to get lunch and as we were trying to figure out what to get my one co-worker said that he was craving jja jjang myun and that he heard Lee’s Noodles was great. Once he said that I was craving jjampong so we headed there. We arrived around 12:15 and were immeidately greated and seated at the last available table. I ordered the jjampong, my co-worker got the jja jjang myun and my other co-worker got pan-fried seafood over rice. Our food came out within 5 minutes and it smelled amazing and it was hot(temperature). One of my pet peeves is if I order soup and it’s warm… no one wants warm soup?! The jjampong was AMAZING. Holy shit. The spice level was perfect it was so spicy. The seasonings were on point and the seafood… wow I was so surprised how much seafood they put in my soup. I also tried a bit of the jja jjang myun and seafood and both were good… but mine was definitely the best. I would highly recommend this if you’re craving jjampong and I will definitely be back.

Is there a 25 $ minimum(before tax) for delivery, yes. Did it take an hour and a half for my food to arrive even though the spot is 3 blocks from my house, yes. Did the guy crawl to my place with the food tied to his leg like Andy Dufrane in the Shawshank Redemption, probably. Was the comida luke warm when it arrived, yes. Was it tasty like it had outta, hells yes Bronameth. Boba tea, bomb. Dumplings, yes please. Seafood stew, i got stoked on it. Black bean noodles, chyeaaaaaaa brahhh! I will order again in hopes the delivery fiasco was a one time thing, or just go get it myself.

The spicy seafood soup was good but a little too many onions for me. The Taro Boba was good. The fried rice with shrimp was decent and the best was the service was impeccable and the owner was pleasant. Maybe try something different next time!

We came here on a cold night and because we wanted soup and some chicken. We got a jjampong(spicy seafood noodle soup) and some dumplings. The jjampong was AMAZING. It’s SOOOO big and it’s not like other restaurants that just throw in like 3 seafood. This soup is filled with huge seafood and a lot of them too. It’s only 7.99 too. It’s underpriced in my opinion considering the size and the amount they give you. The noodles are yummy too, it’s very chewy and not soggy. The dumplings,(kimchi and beef) was pretty good too. They are handmade here and it goes perfectly with the jjampong. The service is amazing here and it’s a really friendly environment.

It’s hard to find better value around here! My friend told me to try this place out with her, so we went on a Sunday night. No traffic, but the lot was full when we got there. Naturally, we parked at the Ralph’s across the street(Shhhh). Anyway, upon walking in, it became clear that Lee’s Noodles had started on its quest for world domination. The first step was to do a hostile takeover of dok dok chicken, and then sprout a boba shop in the heart of its operation. I’m on to you. We didn’t order anything off of the dok dok chicken menu or the boba shop menu since we came there for the noodles. We ordered the jjajangmyun and the spicy seafood noodle soup, and apparently you are supposed to order the sweet and sour fried pork with those noodle dishes as well, so if you wish it, it will appear. Sorry, I meant to say if you pay $ 12 more, it will appear. Got your hopes up, didn’t I? The jjajangmyun felt like it had a bit too much onion, and by that I mean it was like eating diced onions fried with black bean sauce rather than black bean sauce with some onions in it. However, you know what they say about having too much of a good thing, sometimes it just works. What, no one says that? I don’t know what you are talking about. The waitress didn’t ask us how spicy we wanted the spicy seafood noodle soup. That could have been a disaster, but fortunately for them we both like our food super spicy, sparingly of course. Not like everything. I think I would die. The soup packed a pretty good punch. However, again, they had way too much onions in here. Except this time, I felt that the slightly raw, sliced onions overpowered the texture of the dish. Also, half of the mussels weren’t opened. Just saying. The fried pork could have been done a little better. And by that I mean I wish it had been deep fried so that it were crispy rather than the soft state it was presented in. Not sure what they were going for, but it didn’t really work. The sweet & sour sauce they give you on the side, and whether you pour it on the pork or just dip your pork in it, the taste and texture just didn’t amaze me. It’s also the most expensive item on the menu, so I was expecting a bit more from it. Overall, the noodle dishes were pretty good for the price. I wouldn’t recommend the pork though. Next time, I’m for sure going to try the dumplings, and maybe get one of those fried candy bars too. Just kidding, it’s like $ 3 for what, a 50 cent candy bar thrown on a pan for a bit. No thanks.

I agreed with Jay A’s review. My take-out order was bad and depressing too, like the owner who didn’t bother to say hi when I smiled at him when he was on his laptop. The steam pork dumplings were way too soggy for my taste. The skin was not chewy, textureless and broke apart when I tried to separate them with chopsticks. Filling tasted good but mushy. Very soggy, moisty and also lacking texture. The KimLan soy sauce pack provided was awful! I was hoping for a good boba drink but it was also a disappointment. My green tea milk tea had little to no taste of green tea or sweetness. It has too much ice hence the milk tea was diluted. Black boba tapioca balls were disintegrating on the outside, while they were really hard on the inside, as if they’ve been overnighted, or been sitting there for days. I paid an unannounced $.50/item take-out surcharge. I do not recommend!

I came here when there wasn’t many customers. The service was a little slow but the waiter was nice enough to keep checking up on my order. It was completely understandable because even though there weren’t many costomers in the actual restaurant, I notice there were a lot of take out orders. There were also only around three chiefs working for a lot of orders. I suggest ordering ahead of time, it would be more convenient if your in a bit of a rush. For people who order take out in the restaurant, they have a bench on the side to sit on while you wait. As for the food I thought it was filling. I had order the Jumbo Dumplings(comes w/three), they were delicious. The outside of the dumpling was sticky and the inside was a nice smooth creamy taste. On the side they had a yellow vegetable, I don’t know what it was but it was good to eat along side my meal. The presentation of the food was pretty good considering, I didn’t order much. It gives off a little bit of a Chinese feel to it. I got a Milk Tea w/boba and it was much better then most of the ones I had tried so far. You actually taste most of the tea and not a bunch of sugar. It is a great deal at $ 3.25 because typically around this area a Milk tea is closer to $ 4 then to $ 3.

I can’t say I was blown away at all. I ordered the Black Bean and Pork Noodle as well as an order of the steamed pork dumplings. The dumplings were the better half of the meal, though I’d say they were only above-average. My to-go bag only contained a tiny packet of cheap soy sauce, so that was all I had to dress the dumplings; unsure if there is anything different for sit-down. Dumpling skins were nice and thin, but also not falling apart. Filling was a bit bland, though, and the soy sauce was truly awful – just salty tasting and containing added sugar according to the ingredients list(couldn’t taste it over the iodized salt, just empty calories). The noodles were a disappointment. I didn’t find anything special about the noodles themselves, and they certainly didn’t seem house-made in appearance or taste. The sauce, however, was pretty bland. It was thick with a starchy taste to it(why? It goes over noodles…), and the pork and onions really only provided texture. Overall it was just sweet-tasting, and very little in the way of savory. I much prefer the version that is over at Hong Kong Ban Jum 0410 /Paik’s Noodle at 6th& Alexandria, which has more of a savory taste to it and much more bold-tasting onion notes. The biggest issue I had, though, is that this business surcharges for to-go orders, and this is NOT reflected properly on their menu. Their menu board only states«To-Go Orders: +$.50» but they don’t actually charge $ 0.50 per order as stated, but rather $ 0.50PERITEM ordered to-go. I brought this discrepancy to the cashier’s attention, and he asked me how the menu should be changed to reflect the policy. I told him that while«+ $.50 ea» would reflect how I was charged, as it currently is, it’s false advertisement and quite frankly I find it to be a very strange policy to have in the first place. As a result of an underwhelming meal coupled with an awful to-go surcharge policy, I’m deducting an extra star and probably will not be coming back. Had the food been tastier, I may have given this place a second chance, but I don’t see a point after eating the food.

Like many others, I was drawn here by a blog recommendation. I will point out, that I don’t know the first thing about Korean or Korean-Chinese food, but I know that they make delicious food here. Service is fast and friendly, and I like the mini pan chan that they give you when you sit down. I really wanted to order fried chicken, but I came to Lee’s with the jjajangmyeon on my mind, so I ordered that with a side of the steamed dumplings. I wish I would have had some spice to it, but the flavors of the black bean sauce were so rich and savory and wonderful, that I was still scraping up every last bit of it by the end of the bowl. I don’t know why I ordered the steamed dumplings since I prefer them pan-fried, but they were still delicious. I think the pan flute versions of 90’s American pop ballads that play in the background are awesomely hilarious. Next time I come I’m definitely ordering some wings, and coming with a friend so I can sample more of the menu.

Reading about this place on a la food blog of a general sort, I’m always wary of their«this is the best thing» hype, but my god, this place is delicious! New, clean and friendly service, the simple menu serves up great eats. Today I had the seafood noodle soup(mild) and 8 meat dumplings. The soup was delicious with a fair amount of noodles and seafood. But the dumplings were pillows of meaty goodness. They also provided 4 small pan chan to get started. As others have noted here, spicy means SPICY! The Korean lady next to me was fanning herself, coughing and wiping the sweat off her brow, so go for mild if you actually want to enjoy the meal. The most entertaining part was the music selection of hits from the 70s — 90s done in windpipe and chimes mode. Bring earbuds and your one tunes if it bothers you, but it was more amusing than anything else.
