Seriously one of the most consistently fantastic places we’ve been to. And we’ve tried brunch, lunch and dinner multiple times. The service is impeccable! But the food is the true star of the show. I’d give every single item I’ve had 5 stars. Seriously. Get your butts over here. Also $ 5 bottomless mimosas at brunch($ 15 food purchase minimum) is A DREAM. I COULDNTGUSHMORE. REALLY.

It was good but nothing to write home about, I was disappointed in the craft beer, and the breakfast sandwich was mediocre at best, I think this farm to table establishment is overrated.

I thought this restaurant was excellent! The service was great, the food was on point, and the ambience is warm and welcoming. We had the burrata which was extremely well balanced. The dates and honey added a great sweetness and the fried sage added a crisp consistency. The grilled bread it comes with is delicious as well. I had the fish which was perfectly prepared. I really enjoyed the lentils it came with and the frisée added a brightness to the dish that was spot on. Apparently they have a great late happy hour after 9pm, so I will definitely be coming back!

Used to come here quite a bit when it was Cooks County, and always enjoyed the seasonal menu and locally sourced food. This last time my wife and I went in for brunch, I saw that the name changed… The waiter informed me that it was a new chef(which I believe was the 3rd new chef since the beginning) and same owner. I remember the waiter from before — he’s the cool«older» italian guy — he’s super friendly and on point. We ordered a burger to share and some egg special. The food was underwhelming. Burger was good, not great. The egg’s were just okay. I’ll give them another shot for dinner… Hopefully it will be better.

Was anxious to try Market Provisions. The restaurant was very busy and didn’t seem to have enough staff for the amount of tables. One of the entrees came much, much later than the others. Portion sizes were a bit on the small size. There was also a long wait to clear the table after each course. The food overall was very good but the service needs major improvement.

When you closely examine the amazing pedigree of the team behind Market Provisions, it is no surprise that this place is a hit. From the ambiance to the hospitality, menu to specials, everything is right where it needs to be. The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of beer and wine by the glass or otherwise at a very reasonable price. Upon my visit for dinner, I enjoyed the Bourgogne«Aligote,» Berthenet. A true old world Chardonnay and an Estate Stolpman Syrah. One cannot go wrong with a Stolpman Syrah, especially if it is to be paired with a slow cooked Beef Cheek on a celery pure with braised greens. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your mouth goodness. Prior to that I had the bright and refreshing Winter Radishes with buttermilk crème fraîche, pink peppercorns, black lava salt finished with Sicilian olive oil. This is the type of food I truly appreciate. Conceptualized and executed perfectly. Floral notes of the red peppercorns danced on your palate against the smoky slat and tangy crème fraîche while the bright and crisp radishes carried all those flavors. The entire menu is filled with great choices and each one is worth exploring.

We had dinner here on Saturday, and it was wonderful! Frequent visitors to Cooks County, MP is even nicer and the food even better. The atmosphere is casual and lively, yet nice, and the inside looks better than before. The food was excellent. We enjoyed everything: the radishes, the olives, the beet and little gem salads, the burrata, the salmon, the beef cheeks, the lamb, and the pasta were all great entrees. We had all three desserts: beignets, chocolate tart and panna cotta, and were very happy with each. Service was outstanding: efficient, yet not hurried. They gladly corked our wines. The owner(s) were in attendance the entire evening. They were gracious hosts, making sure we were welcomed and taken care of. We felt very much at home and that our business was appreciated. I will definitely be back to the new and improved venue!

Its Friday. Happy Hour time(but not a sanctioned happy hour for Market Provisions) Four of us. Reservations. The place was at 30% capacity. Radishes: Cut oblong, and difficult to put in mouth(and that’s saying a lot for someone who can unhinge their jaw like a snake.) Pea Tendrils: Drowned in oil, over cooked, strangled of their vibrancy. Oysters: past their prime, on the cliff of Vibrio. We returned them and for whatever reason, staff didn’t remove the offending item from the bill. Burrata: Just serviceable, at best. Bucatini Cacio e Pepe: non traditional pasta choice, that fell well short. Pappardelle with Pork ragu: tired, unbalanced, and the meat tasted like the remnants as it is likely from the edge of the pot from two days ago. More then one star because the charcuterie was surprisingly quite nice. But how do you ruin cured meat? Overall, nothing felt fresh. Its like that corporate job you are just showing up to for the paycheck and health insurance. Dead inside. WAY too expensive for a below mediocre evening. The saving grace was the company… and getting nuzzled by a strange girl, which was oddly erotic.

I would give this place 10! Food a 10! Service a 10! Casual ambience a 10! We rented the restaurant out for a private holiday party and everything was on par. Claudio and the staff made everyone feel welcome from the drinks and buffet appetizers at the start of the evening. The fried chicken for dinner was off the charts, just about everyone had seconds! The mac & cheese made some of us want to lick the plate. The beer & wine selections has something for everyone’s taste and budget. We would definitely have another private party here or dinner again! Looking forward to going back to have the liver pâté! The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and nice too which made the evening even better.

Market Provisions has taken over the Cook’s County location on Beverly Blvd. Same owner, new great chef, Don Dickman. We’ve traveled far and wide to enjoy Chef Dickman’s food. Last night was our first time for the recently opened M.P. and we went for Happy Hour, which must be the best deal in town. We had the Boquerones(white anchovies), Chicken Liver Toast, Grilled Spanish Octopus and the Bucatini pasta dish; all perfectly delicious. Our server recommended two great wines. All of the restaurant staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. We’re ecstatic M.P. opened so close to us and will be going back soon and often.

I was a patron of Market Provisions under its erstwhile name, Cook’s County, and I’m happy to see that the quality of food and service remain the same. Under Market Provisions, the patio seating has a bit more ambience, with the help of some added planters and umbrellas. We brought our dog Theo, and we were happy to see him welcomed by the staff with a bowl of ice water. I’m excited to have another dog-friendly spot(there are about 3 other dogs in the outdoor seating when we were there) that we can frequent!

Food is incredible at Market Provision. We ordered the chicken liver pâté, PEI mussels and the linguine with clams. Everything was pretty amazing. The mussels were definitely a must get. The creamy broth is really rich but definitely memorable(in a good way). The chicken liver pâté was delicious, creamy texture. Though I thought there was not enough of the pâté, the way they paired it with the medjool dates definitely made an impression. Lastly, the linguine was phenomenal. Light, you can really taste the wine. We paired our dinner with white wine, which our server happily recommended us. Pours were a generous amount and I loved how the glasses were delicate thin glasses, really appreciate them. Service was also very good. The owner came by to ask us how the meal was and one of the chefs brought by some needed bread without us asking! Overall a great dining experience.
