Blvd Coffee

Our go to breakfast joint, even if it’s a quick bite on a weekday or a nice sit down on the weekend. Honestly, I’ve hesitated for some time on writing this review because in my mind it’s a very special spot that one should discover on their own, but I recognize that it’s not fair to Blvd to hold out on doing so because of my pettiness: P
The food is always great and the coffee is even better. The owner and the works are very chill, and will take the time to chat away with you.

Such a great coffee shop! Wouldn’t have noticed it, very nondescript exterior, but lovely and cozy yet spacious inside. The cop car mocha is delicious, as is the turkey, pesto, provolone, avocado, and tomato sandwich on sourdough. Sandwiches are not frozen to heat up, they’re made fresh, delicious. Staff was lovely and helpful.

Order the Cubano– you won’t be disappointed– nobody makes it the way they do and it’s heaven.

This place has awesome coffee and good food. Everyone is friendly too! This is my go to place when I’m in the neighborhood. My favorite coffee is cinnamon twist, and all the food is made fresh with fresh ingredients. I have never been disappointed!

Cute spot for crepes and coffee! A friend and I shared a savory crêpe (egg, spinach, cheese) and sweet crêpe (lemon cinnamon sugar) and our tummies were happy! The crepes turned out perfect: not too hard but not too soft/​soggy either. I highly recommend ordering eggs over-​easy for the savory crêpe… the runny yolk is paired perfectly with the spinach!
Minus 1-​star for not having many tea options (aside from hot water + tea bag). If they could expand to serve tea lattes and matcha green tea options that’d be awesome!

Gave this place a try for breakfast crepes, definitely happy with the service and the food; had their cold brewed coffee and loved it. Tucked in the corner of the shopping center, but worth seeking out.
Update: Came in with my 14 month old son and clearly had my hands full. Hugo was kind enough to help carry out my coffee and crepes. My four star rating just became five stars.

I don’t get it. Have been here multiple times for coffee. Staff are not noticeably friendlier or happier or more engaging. Especially considering the rave reviews I was expecting a lot more. I get better service at Peet’s.
Last time I came here for breakfast and felt compelled to leave a review to warn others as everything is microwaved/​reheated. Was not expecting or wanting that. I don’t remember the coffee being better or worse than other coffee shops Ive been at.
Perhaps this place is great at cultivating regulars who work and live in the neighborhood but for a more than 10 minute drive and breakfast I would skip it.

For those of you who despair of the onslaught of big chain coffee shops, Blvd Coffee is what you crave.

Great local coffee shop with a wide variety of drinks and breakfast items.
The building is longer (deeper) than it is wide and it had a beautiful granite bar running entire length of it. There are a couple couches and cushy seats as well as tables, also bar stools at the higher sections of the bar top.
I am not from the area, but there was a group of retirees gathered in one area who were obviously regulars. They were very familiar with the staff and the staff was consistently checking in and making sure they had what they needed.
Overall a very clean place with great products and an awesome staff. Check it out.

How can I not give this place a 5?
The ambiance is casual. There are plenty of big group seatings and your occasional tables with 2 or 3 chairs. The outdoor seatings is a plus!
Clearly I had to order a crêpe and it wouldn’t be the same without strawberry, banana, and Nutella! No whip please! The serving was huge.
I love the cold brew mojito. I’m not a coffee connoisseur, but I’m glad my friend suggested to not put half and half on it. It was delicious and refreshing. I must admit I love it better than the Philz. If you don’t know cold brew, google it. It’s phenomenal.
The staff is very friendly. Overall a good place to chat with friends and not worry about overstaying your welcome.

Thanks to Unilocal,I found this great spot for breakfast/​coffee while visiting the Los Gatos area. The coffee and tea selections are extensive and premium. Their food preparations are fresh and thoughtfully built. It is a very unassuming strip mall location==probably would have missed it or not tried it had it not been for the outstanding reviews. Don’t let the back of the center location deter you.
Probably most important to their success equation is friendly, authentic and abundant staff. They don’t expect their baristas to also be serving food They had two separate guys just doing the food prep when we were there on a Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. The Churro Crêpe was very nice and the breakfast plate was simple, elegant and healthy not to mention delicious. I’m not a coffee drinker but my husband said his cappuccino was excellent.
If I lived nearby, I would frequent this spot for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Pleasing and clean décor. The environment feels friendlly and welcoming. Thank you Unilocal,another score of a recommended location.

I had an amazing «cubano» coffee there.
I am French and drink a lot of coffee (including 3 Nespresso a day) but I must say that the «cubano» was one of the best coffee I ever had.
They do fresh crepes (sweet or savory) at a very affordable price. I’ll go back to try them and update my review then.

My new find and a great one! Loved the Mexican mocha and the regular too! They use Ghirardelli chocolate and you can taste it the moment you sip it! It’s unlike the other mocha drinks I’ve tried. It’s quite cozy on the inside, not too loud if you want to read a book or work a little. I also tried their breakfast; egg and cheese croissant, nicely toasted and easy to bite in. I want to try their crepes, the place was filled with the aroma of Nutella, maybe next time! I have to make a special mention about their service, the staff is really nice, they confused my order with a bagel and brought it but without any hesitance took it right back, came back to apologize and got the correct order! That was really nice of them though it’s not a big deal. I am going to find my way up there every time I m in Los gatos!

The Mexican Mocha is delicious. I love the flavors! My favorite part is the hint of Mexican chocolate you get with every sip of coffee. Absolutely perfect.

Fun little place for great pour over coffees, getting some work done, and feeling like family.
Super friendly staff and family owned and run, you feel right at home upon arrival. Always pretty packed inside with patrons that, you can tell, are regulars.

Hands down this place is incredible with amazing service and top notch food. My sister called in from Atlanta, GA and had them deliver me breakfast after I was up all night with my newborn baby. They don’t have a delivery service but with sympathy, Umberto, the owner delivered it himself! I am extremely thankful and appreciative!
FYI– Eggwhite, spinach, tomato omelet was absolutely delicious!!!

This place makes me want to own a business like this. It’s very cool in general. It’s evident from the moment you step in. Colors just pop everywhere. Tasteful décor and warm staff makes you feel very comfortable.
We ordered #7 on the board. The Breakfast Plate. $ 8. It’s two eggs scrambled with their daily selection of fresh veggies topped with cheese, avocado, tomato and salsa with toast. Today it was spinach and zucchini. It’s a great refreshing take on the ho-​hum scrambled eggs. It’s in my opinion an open face scrambled egg. Very healthy. No meat for us meat lovers. Can you request an additional meat in there? I don’t know. Never asked. It’s good enough! Once in a while a breakfast without meat is welcomed in my meat fueled existence,
The hot chocolate that I ordered topped with whipped cream came hot. They sell cookies, Tony’s coffee in whole beans and they make a mean Mexican mocha.
We also decided to try their sweet crepes. Sweet Nutella with very thinly sliced strawberries. It was done right! Fruits and Nutella mixed well wrapped inside that wonderfully thin crêpe wrap. I will definitely have this again. They also make sandwiches and you can find a variety of them written on their board behind the counter. They carry bagels here as well.
This place is frequented by locals and groups of locals who seem to know each other. They’re the cool kids here! Cool older kids at heart. My favorite! Lol!
They have outside seating that today was empty since today is a rainy Saturday.
