Chris consistently leaves me STOKED on my hair. He’s been doing my hair for quite a few years now and I’ve always walked out feeling a hundred times better than when I arrived. He’s really good at listening to what I want and finding a way to make it work with my hair (not always the easiest thing to do). He always finds time to fit me into his schedule, wether its 7am on a Saturday or super late on a Wednesday. Not only is he fast, reliable, creative he’s great at knowing when I feel like chatting or if I feel like just sitting in the chair and zoning out. Something I can definitely appreciate after having several hair stylists blab away when I just wanted to relax. I can confidently say that I get compliments on my hair at least once a day. Sometimes its the color (natural looking blonde — not brassy OR bleached to death) the cut (currently a Brigitte Bardot inspired cut) or the way I’ve styled it for the day which I wouldn’t be able to do without him. Thanks Chris for being a certified hair genius.

Chris really listens to exactly what I’ve always wanted and has a keen sense which has always ended in perfection! The combination along with the relaxing & mellow environment of his boutique zen-​like salon gives exactly what I’m looking for versus the larger & sometimes over-​done salons. Bottom line: my hair always comes out exactly how I wanted (& often better:)) and the experience is that of a relaxing spa. What could be better!

I’ve been getting my cut and color from Chris for 15 years — I stay with IMRU because not only does he do great work for a reasonable price, but the salon atmosphere is different. Quiet, zen-​like, bright and comfortable — not to mention easy access and parking. AND you can get appointments on Sundays!!! :)

I have been going to Chris for (embarassed to admit it) 20 years. He is amazing. Not only is he a GREAT person, he is very talented. He listens to what your needs are and is willing to experiment. He is phenomenal at highlights. Very meticulous. One time many, many years ago I went to another hair dresser. She was really, really fast at doing my highlights. I looked like I had streaks. Chris always trys to be flexible and fit you in on your schedule, but he is busy so don’t call the day of and expect to get in. He is open on Sundays (woo hoo) and Mondays.
I highly, highly recommend him … begrudenly (because I am afraid if the word gets out too much I won’t be able to get into him :)

Our whole family goes here and we especially like Chris. He’s great with our twin boys and my wife likes how he highlights her hair as well.
