I come here with my boys and his friends. Good family restaurant and decent food. Kids like to watch games and play games. Good hang out place with kids. Food is bit pricey side. My wife used to love their clam pasta but they don’t have it anymore…

Great local bar. Good beer on tap and decent bar food. Free Wifi and good beer tends to equate to me being there about once per week during my longer days working. They always have a fun crowd and it’s a great place to watch any local bay area team.

This place has been a favorite of ours for a while. They do a very fun raffle for Monday night football and while the food is decent(bar food… definitely overpriced) the raffle keeps us coming back. A little something extra fun to add to our Mondays. However… There is something every time we go! The food has never been the same — they forget the chicken, then forget the avocado the next week etc and when one of us asks for said missing food its ATLEAST a 10 minute wait to get it, if we get it at all(«no there isn’t avocado on that… oh, it’s on the menu? oh ok, well I’ll get it»). We order one beer– get a different one. We get there for Happy Hour, double check its still Happy Hour, and then get charged full price anyways(which has happened a few times– they always fix it for us but after a «oh are you sure it was before 6…». if I was eating the food by 5:45 …I would think it was before 6? and it takes at least 10 minutes for that to be fixed as well… I could really go on here but you get the idea– the service, while friendly, is slow and inconsistent enough that we have never been here without an issue. The managers are friendly, the atmosphere is great and the food is sufficient. But for a $ 16 salad and a $ 7 beer I would like to get what I ordered maybe at least half the time and sadly, it hasn’t happened once. I get it– its busy, we’re a decent sized group etc. but I’ve never had a restaurant make it so hard to just get our food. We aren’t substituting or making changes– right off the menu. Its sadly probably time for a new Monday night spot :(I would not recommend until they get their servers/cooks on the same page.

Went on a Friday night. Ordered the bacon and egg burger. Very large portion of meat(had to take half home) and very tasty overall. Sweet potato fries were also good. Ordered the black bean chili and was served regular chili on accident. Not big enough of an issue to send back so it was eaten with a smile. I would go back again to try something different on the menu. A lot of TV screens for different sports. Nothing of interest was on that night but I could see this place being popular during any regular televised sporting event. It was very loud inside as expected in a sports bar. The parking lot in front has about 7 spots so we had to park down the street a little ways.

Great atmosphere. Plenty of tvs. Lives up to the sports bar expectation. But it’s very clean! Wide range of alcohol provided, great menu options, and friendly staff. The wings were delicious. The bones kept breaking though. I don’t know if that has to do with how their cooked or not. Went before peak time, so the waitress was quick to serve. Food was hot and delivered quickly. Great first experience!

It’s a sports bar dive that has table service. So can’t expect much. Our server Cassie is a true professional. Best part of our visit. The other male servers were very tacky looking with their sports jerseys, untucked, different colored shorts, socks and their apron strings wrapped around their waist with the pants dropped to their knees. Hard to look at that and expect the food to taste good. The fried zucchini wasn’t cooked through, breading was a dark brown so that tells me their oil needs to be changed. The hot pastrami sandwich rye bread was as hard as a rock, literally. Overall… don’t expect anything more than divey bar atmosphere and bad food.

Two words Good food ! They have quite a few choices when it comes to the menu. It’s way more than just burgers and fries. If you are looking for a fun place to eat in Los Gatos that has good food this is a good place to go. Also this is a sports bar so if you’re a sports fan you will really love it.

Food was pretty damn bad what should I expect it’s a bar wait a minute is a restaurant I’m not coming back. The servers were helpful Place was relatively dirty the drinks were awful I ordered a margarita way too sweet, use a smaller glass or add more booze WTF. Overall awful experience.

This is the local LG sports bar. It ain’t spectacular or anything special. It’s got that dirty-rug ambiance and locals-supported love that keeps this bar in business. The food items are mediocre, and they only have a few light beers on tap. Not even Guinness guys?!(The only have it in the bottle) We also had their garlic fries(yummy only when hot) and my friends got their brownie a la mode dessert. Brownies didn’t have that freshly-baked flavor, so it was meh. 5STARS to the staff though, because it was such a dead night for them. And yet the two bartender ladies who interacted with us were both really trying to stay awake with the lack of customers. Cheers to you two! Especially to the friendly and bubbly bartender(ponytail girl, you know who you are!) who went out of her way to keep us laughing while watching the Giants game. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but I’d definitely choose this local place over BJ’s or wingstop.

I was in here Sunday and had an excellent meal. It was some type of fish ratatouille, that was incredible — totally unexpected. The waitress was very, very attentive, friendly and hard working. I hadn’t been here in a while, but remember my last experience here to be «meh», and the wait staff to be very slow. So, needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great place for kids and adults alike.

Double D’s is a great place to grab a burger, watch the game and have a few beers. I’ve been coming here since it first opened(which is now making me feel very old) and it’s just a solid place. The service here is really nice, but I will say that sometimes it can take a while to get what you’ve ordered – especially if they’re busy. Now that I mention when they’re busy, for the love of god don’t come here when it’s busy. Especially if it’s on a weekend. It will be nothing but families and their kids(who’ve just played a soccer/baseball/etc. game) and it will be loud and annoying. I still love this place and, if you come at the right time, it’s an awesome sports bar.

I had a good experience at this sports bar watching the Warriors game last night on a girls night out. We arrived early enough for good pricing on Happy Hour drinks and appetizers which were delicious! Our server was a bit overwhelmed, which is totally understandable since the place was jam packed, so I will not be harsh. She managed as best she could while keeping a smile on her face. All in all watching the game was a very pleasant experience and the crowd was fun to be around too! Thumbs up

I’ll start this off by saying that the food was better than I expected here. Over my multiple visits, I had a few different appetizers and salads and was always pleasantly surprised with the quality. There’s a steak salad that is particularly good. The only weak point was the wings… soggy tiny wings served with a watery ranch sauce(after I asked for blue cheese). Now for the bad news. This is a sports bar so I figured that it would be a good local spot to watch out of town playoff hockey when I wanted to see the games on the East Coast that started early. I was showing up at around 4pm, generally on a weeknight, and the place was pretty dead. You’d think that getting a nationally televised game on one of the 30 TVs that no one is watching wouldn’t be very hard but each time I was there I encountered some issue. Two of the times, they couldn’t find the channel so they put it on the wrong channel and walked away(until I showed them the channel it was on at the bar). Another time they just ignored me for 10 minutes and then finally changed the channel, only to change it to basketball five minutes later(even though I was the only one watching). Just not a very sharp waitstaff. Friendly, just not on top of their game. The other problem was ordering a drink. For whatever reason, simple orders like jack and coke had about a 50% chance of coming back as something else. After a while, I realized that no matter what I ordered I would end up with a rum and coke so I just dealt with it. I brought it up a couple times when reordering only to have the same problem later. Lastly, holy mother of crappy parking. I had to park about a ½ mile away on a Friday at 4pm. This can’t totally be blamed on the bar since it’s more of a Los Gatos thing but definitely budget some extra time if you don’t want to crawl the public lots for parking.

Despite the tacky name, this place isn’t bad. I ended up here for lunch on a weekday as my friend and I really wanted a beer with our meal(telling, isn’t it). Service was efficient, given the place was pretty empty. Food was decent, though I felt like the menu was much more geared for dinner and even what seemed like the lunch options(sandwiches and soup combos) were still too much food. I definitely want to return for game watchings with friends. The atmosphere lends itself more to that, as one would predict by virtue of it being a sports bar and all…

Was here with a friend prior to an event, he and I were ready to eat, and once we found a place to park(parking in Los Gatos is challenging), we then went to work walking to the restaurant. I ordered the Fusili gluten free pasta, and my friend had a Turkey burger. We both enjoyed our meals, The past was great, not filling, healthy, lots of fresh vegetables. Aaron Rodger’s was our server, well not literally, a gal wearing that jersey. They have plenty of tv’s here to watch sports, along with a pool table and some video games. I found the restrooms to be clean, and the service was right on. A great find in downtown Los Gatos. They also have some really cool sports memorobilia. Great food and service. Come on out and eat here.

The one star was for our waiter and his service. Don’t remember his name, but had a Niners jersey on. Very fast and funny. Even if we had to ask for napkins from the tables around us while eating buffalo wings. Food and drink. I will not return. Everything averages $ 17. Sweet goooooodness that’s a lot for a salad or burger or pizza. The buffalo wings were $ 10 which was a pretty good price. $ 12 for a turkey sandwich. Bread, turkey, lettuce, and bacon. Huh? Bread wasn’t even toasted. Could not believe the prices in their menu. Then there’s the owner that asked to tip more. Ummmm NO. I think that’s a pretty big DONTDO in the industry. It’s okay to ask how service was but don’t bring up my tip. I’m sorry that our budget was $ 100 and the tip suffered because everything was overpriced. Even after the owner asked for more tip, I checked my bank account and the tip wasn’t even charged! Not only do you not look able to own a business, someone doesn’t know how to close a check. So either way our tip was 0%.

This is a verrrry good Sports bar. The bartenders are knowledgable and make excellent, well balanced drinks. They also rotate the beers frequently and bring in a lot of microbrews you will not find at other bars. The food is very good, and there is a wide variety. Burgers and sandwiches, very good(try Philly cheesesteak or veggie burger). Salads are awesome(steak salad is amazing). Pastas are excellent. Pretty much all the appetizers are great. TV’s everywhere so no worries about being able to see a screen.
