French Theft is one of my stops when I’m in Santa Cruz. It’s amazing what Kate has been able to do with this intimate space (one dressing room, table, and eye candy along the perimeter and hanging above). The selection ranges from Honeydew to Samantha Chang, Triumph, Fortnight, to jewel-​encrusted custom lingerie. Thanks to Kate, I am more receptive to trying (and acquiring) new, quality undergarments (still no to the jewel-​encrusted kind). Be sure to check out the panty raid/​end-​of-​season sales.

What a beautiful, intimate store, selling – what else – beautiful intimates! My husband and I stumbled upon this place and I’ve already been back twice this week. There is a wide range of options in price from $ 10 panties to $ 100+ chemises. They are all of very high quality and well worth it. The fabrics are simply irresistible, you and your partner will not be able to keep your hands off. Highly recommend.

This shop is so charming and has a wonderful selection of beautiful lingerie, as well as more practical (but still pretty) bras and panties.
Very important: this store is the place to shop if you have a bigger chest and a slight frame. They specialize in bras with large cup sizes with smaller band sizes, which as many ladies will know are often hard-​to-​find sizes elsewhere. (Think 32E, etc)
Overall, a lovely shop with great selection, ambiance, and excellent customer service. The girls who work here are never pushy or awkward about measuring you or helping you adjust straps etc, but they are also not too friendly– still respectful if you are a more modest customer. I think anyone would be comfortable shopping here!
Also– great location next door to the delicious Kelly’s French Bakery.

This place is perfect. Seriously cute stuff and hard to find bra sizes. The owner is really sweet.
It’s small but she makes good use of the space. I will keep coming here.

I am excited to share my positive experience with French Theft. I waited too long to buy a kimono I had seen in the store and a few days before Christmas they were sold out. It really is no surprise, the kimonos are quite stunning and are a perfect gift. Kate, the owner was amazing in the way she helped me solve my dilemma. I told her what I was looking for and she very capably described what she could make. I made my best mental picture and though I didn’t have an actual kimono to take home, Kate put together a beautiful gift bag with a brochure which allowed me to at least have something under the tree (it was quite nice, actually!). Best of all, when my hand made kimono was ready today, I was shocked at how beautiful it was, far exceeding my mental image and expectations! I absolutely cannot wait to give it to my wife! It’s like Christmas all over again.

This place is cute. They have a decent selection of absolutely beautiful nighties, panties, lingerie, etc. The customer service is always really great too and I love the location as I frequent Kelly’s bakery more often than I would like to admit. The one downfall is that the cup sizes they carry may very well be larger than the store. Seriously, it’s tiny.
