Roy did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair! Brought her in for karatin treatment on her waist long hair. She has super thick hair and I was skeptical that I would find a solution for the constant tangles and long hours of flat ironing. Dream come true!!!

I have gotten a few different keratin/​brazilian blowouts but this one was BY FAR the best that I have ever gotten. Roy is exceptional! You want a hairstylist to understand the type of cut to match your face shape, or the right hair color for your skin tone, and how your new hairstyle fits into your lifestyle. This guy knows! Above all he is a professional. It’s hard to trust a stylist with color, or scissors, or even a dang blow dryer in their hands, but believe me when I say that with Roy, you are left completely satisfied. :)

He is such a talented guy and so nice, I had the keratin treatment done on my impossibly thick and curly hair and he did it just as meticulously as he would for anyone else. Thank you, Unilocalers, for helping me find Roy. I’ve been to him four times for Coppola Keratin treatments, and I couldn’t be happier. He is a perfectionist, incredibly professional, and lots of fun to hang out with during the 3 – 4 hour treatment.
My hair is naturally curly/​wavy with a frizzy bottom layer. The keratin makes my hair silky smooth and it lasts for about 4 months. And my hair feels better each time I get the keratin treatment. I’m hooked!

Roy has completely transformed my hair with the Keratin treatment. I have very curly and frizzy hair, and Roy patiently and diligently treats it — tiny piece by tiny piece. First he applies formula and then he irons it, and the whole process takes ~4 hours. Even though it’s pricey and I can’t «bend» my hair for 3 days (a pain) it is sooooooo worth it. My hair is so much softer and healthier and easier to manage after. Plus, Roy is so easy to talk to that the time goes by pretty fast. Highly recommend it!

Roy has completely changed my hair! My hair has been blonde for over a decade and has become dry and over processed. Roy transformed it to soft and luxurious! I came in yesterday to get the ombré look… you know. dark roots to light ends. the current look for fall… and he knocked it out of the water! He did a better job than what i expected!!! He’s an exceptional hair «artist» and i wouldn’t cheat on him with any other stylist!!!

Last night I was at a concert and a stranger asked me where I got my haircut– she liked it so much that she wanted to get her hair cut by the same person while she was in town for a week. I was happy to give her Roy’s number and tell her that as well as working at a salon in Los Gatos he also does house calls. Roy loves to cut and style hair and I find his enthusiasm infectious.
Roy has been cutting my hair for ~ 5 years– he has a good eye and has given me suggestions that have worked for me. Although he seems young, Roy is so talented and capable that I imagine he will be very successful and in demand within a few years.

Roy is a great young talent. My hair has never looked better and believe me I’m picky and only go to the best people.
You can go to the salon for Roy, or for special occasions he’ll come to you. Color, conditioning, styling. I don’t have anyone else to recommend in the bay area.
If you have frizzy and damaged hair, get the keratin treatment, don’t even think about it. If you’re looking for a color enhancement, Roy has a great eye for what will look good with your skin tone. He is equally deft with base and highlights.
Your hair will look natural, glossy, beautiful, hip. For goodness sake what more do you want?

Roy, is fabulous! That’s all I have to say. I received the Keratin, hair treatment on Saturday and love it. I have really thick, curly hair that is a frizz ball. Its completely, straight and has cut down my styling time by 60%. He also did a cut and color, which I love. I am eager to go back to Roy, as I think I found my new hairstylists.

Yay for my new straight, super shiny hair thanks to Roy! I have wanted to have my hair straightened for years but have heard the Japanese hair straightening was damaging so was thrilled to learn about the new Coppola Keratin Straightening process. My hard to manage fine, frizzy, damaged hair is now shiny and healthy looking and SO easy and fast to blow dry. I didn’t even need to use a flat iron to smooth it out.
A few notes on the process, you have to wait 72 hours to wash your hair after the treatment — that part was really, really hard for me. And during that time your hair will be super flat, I was worried my hair wouldn’t have body but after I was finally able to wash it it looks great. Totally worth the wait.
Roy is very knowledgeable about the product and the process, he is one of a very few who does the process in the bay area (and the ONLY one I found in the South Bay). He gave me tons of great tips! I highly recommend Roy of Haute on the Spot!
