IHOP

Friendly and attentive service, made our Sunday brunch a great experience. I went with my cousin and her husband and toddler. Their holiday selections for hot beverages and food were vast and delicious. :) Highly recommend it for an enjoyable family time!

This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. All the waiters n waitresses disappear for 15 min and don’t come to check up on tables. To make it worse the place was not even packed. Eat here at your own risk… we had a spill and the workers gave us rags and we had to clean it up. The food is par.

To start, I would give 0 stars if this was an option. My third time trying this location and no improvement since our first visit 3 weeks after it opened. Clean? Yes. Does the food taste good? OK. But those aren’t the only things we look for when eating out. When I arrived today, I told the hostess I will need a «booth» for three, she smiled and agreed, then asked if a table was fine… Uh… no. I was looking at 6 empty booths scattered around the restaurant. She looked like I hurt her feelings, then took us directly to our seat with 4 menus and a kids menu… Party of 3… not 5.
Next, our waiter was very nice but you could tell he was new, no worries there, we all have had our moments being new, but that isn’t the worst part. We were hungry when we walked in there, after the waiter took our orders, we didn’t hear from him again until over an hour later when he brought our food out. The food had been sitting in the kitchen for a while as the gravy had a thick skin over it and everything was cold. They shorted us 1 pancake a piece, didn’t bring the peppers that is supposed to come with the omelet and also brought plain pancakes instead of the chocolate chip ones we ordered.
This location has horrible management who are very ignorant on how to manage a store. Read the other reviews. I only see a couple «good» reviews, and there is a reason for that. Don’t get me wrong, they may give good service to one table here and there! But then again, a broken watch is right twice a day right.
I have given this location 3 chances to gain my business, I guess we will just cook from home, eat and do the dishes in less time from here on out.
My recommendation, save your money or go to Denny’s or Benny’s 2 instead.

I have been to IHOP a couple times in Los Lunas, service is slow, and you won’t get coffee unless you wait a long while and tell the waitress as she is passing by for more. They will not offer you more. My husband asked for more water, but she never brought it nor the hot sauce. We had to ask a server for the hot sauce which only took less than 30 seconds to get it. May I say they weren’t very busy during our visit. I can say the food is very good or we wouldn’t come back. Even though service was not good we still left a 15% tip for the waitress. We hope we get better service next time.

Today was my third visit to IHOP. The first couple of times were shortly after it opened. Today we were there for lunch. The place has really gone down hill. Throughout our meal I observed people sending back orders and asking for things that were missing. I was waiting for my food for quite a while so I was people watching. I ordered an ice tea and was given a sweet drink of some sort. The waitress corrected it. I ordered the tilapia for myself and a child’s pancake meal for my son. My tasteless salad arrived in a timely manner but I couldn’t eat it because my silverware was dirty. I asked the waitress for plastic utensils which she brought. My son began to ask the waitress for his pancakes and she assured him that they were doing their best to get it out. We continued to wait as people came and went. Eventually the waitress said that the problem was that the order had been placed a half hour ago but the kitchen didn’t get it? We got our food about ten minutes later but the child’s plate was not accurate. I told my son just to eat it because we had too leave. The waitress brought him so ice cream for the trouble which was probably not her fault. Hopefully thing will be better if we go back. There seemed to be plenty of staff but things just weren’t running smoothly.

I got seated at a decent rate, not much waiting, but once I was seated and given menus the woman who seated me never returned to my table. My party arrived and we waited about 10 – 15 minutes (another table who arrived after had service before) and I eventually had to go find someone to wait on us. Once we finally got service our meal took even longer to come out thankfully the food was good, it may have been our extra hunger from lack of service and waiting but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. … It may be that this place is relatively new and they still need time to figure out staffing roles but I won’t be back for awhile.

Got told twice there wasn’t ingredients available for the order, so had to choose something else. Never got my toast. Biscuits n gravy were not all that.

OK — this is an IHOP. Not much difference between Los Angelas and Los Lunas… but this is a new opening. We posted a picture of some costumes that some of our group got into and had some fun. We did show up here very late with 15+ people. Wait staff did a great job… she was very new and had never waited on a table this large before.

Food was okay as it usually is at Ihop. I ordered the steak sandwich which was not juicy but, the steak is so thin it is very easy to dry it out I’m sure. I almost always prefer Denny’s. The rewards program is what got us in today. Service was very good. Restaurant is very clean and pretty. It it’s fairly new.

Brand new opening in Los Lunas. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was excellent. The food was very good and exactly what you would expect from an IHOP. This is a wonderful addition to the restaurants on the west side of town.
