We visited on 6/25, Adriana helped us and she couldn’t have been more pleasant and funny! Loved the tasting room and their great wines with a chocolate pairing and a huge area outside for sitting around and lots of outdoor games. We will definitely be returning and hopefully we’ll have Adriana again!

Our sever Adriana did a fantastic job! It was a very busy day but they did a great job on making sure everyone was accommodated. The atmosphere has the cool wooden marble feel to it. The member lounge looks like a cellar and romantic but you can only be a member to get in. It was a hot day which might of tanted me of not liking any of their reds but the whites and rose was crisp and refreshing. We walked away with some Rose/White bottles Salute

We became members during our visit a few months ago and get to enjoy their fabulous wines regularly now. One of the recent bottles leaked a little so we contacted the winery and received a response immediately. We had a replacement bottle within days. If you’re thinking about a membership, do it!

Great find! Just happen to see this winery as we were driving to a different winery on Foxen Canyon Rd in Los Olives. What a gem! Great wine and great service. Holly, our server for wine tasting was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. She spent a great deal of time with us explaining their wines and just visiting with us! What a great winery! Went to two other winery’s and this by far was the best. We will definitely be back. We tasted both white and red wines, and all of them were wonderful. The tasting room was one of the best that we have been to. Very modern and great ambience! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Holly for a great time!

My mum loves Andy Murray! In fact, so much so, she calls him her third son. We had to visit. The Andrew Murray vineyard is unfortunately not affiliated with Andy Murray the tennis star, what so ever, but instead in my eyes one of the premier vineyards in the area. This fantastic vineyard is a beautiful place to enjoy a delicious glass of wine or two. Either relaxing in their recently refurbished building(which looks fantastic by the way — heavy use of oak and iron which I love) or outside in their garden area, which is suitable for children too. They have an open cellar room where you are invited to walk amongst, and look up at, the numerous vats of stored wine. We chose the $ 20.00 option which included a handmade chocolate truffle companionship that you eat whilst tasting the wine. The wines are good but I felt the chocolate stole the show a bit. Especially the curry chocolate. It was a revelation. Would definitely go back as it was a very relaxing, inviting and pleasant experience. You are in very capable experienced hands, talking through their sumptuous wine selection. Who knows, we may even bump into Mr Murray himself next time around. «No not that one, I didn’t mean him! He probably doesn’t even drink alcohol. But that Mr Murray who is equally talented but in a different field, the one with all the lovely vines growing in it.»

Once upon a time, a friend and I went wine tasting along the enchanting valleys of Solvang. One winery was too small, one was too big. Fortunately, we discovered one that was just right: Andrew Murray. Upon entry, we were greeted by a strapping young entrepreneur named Spencer, whose chocolatey hair was even richer and more full-bodied than the wine in his hand. Equipped with the taste of Pinot and the sounds of Pitbull, Spencer was essentially our Dionysus for the day. He made it a point to ensure that we were well acquainted with the Syrah and the Cinsault(more like SINsault, am I right?!). I don’t know if it was the heat, the sparkling conversation, or the five bottles of wine, but we had quite the magical afternoon! All jokes aside, this is a fabulous winery, and we really did have an excellent time there. I bought a bottle of the Syrah, and we most certainly lived happily ever after!

Came back for another wonderful tasting experience. We came with friends this time and purchased a bottle of bubbly to enjoy with a picnic lunch. As usual the chocolate pairing was perfect. Adriana helped us first and she is pretty great. Spencer joined us for the tasting and we enjoyed his spectacular service and knowledge of the wines. This team is great. They are a perfect balance and I have to say this is hands down my favorite winery. Great service, fun and knowledgable staff, and great wine. I walked away with 4 bottles of bubbly and my wine club purchase. That will hold me over until my April girls trip.

Hands down my favorite stop during our short day trip! The Sonorous was so good the last time we were here, we purchased a chilled bottle and enjoyed it with some aged cheddar and dry aged salami out on the patio. The E11even sparkling wine label was my gateway drug towards other fermented horizons. I’m a beer and champagne guy so wine has never been my thing, but I have to say the wine and chocolate pairing here are on point. Spencer has a smarmy sense of humor not many can appreciate, but this dude is a riot! He brings a perfect balance of personality and knowledge of his craft. The young lady whose name escapes me was great too. Between the two of them, they make a great team and are the reason we became club members. A+++ service. Get this man a steak dinner!!!

We came for Valentines weekend and loved this winery. We sat on the patio and they served our tasting to us. They also had a great acoustic guitarist playing. We stayed for a couple hours and enjoyed the atmosphere. The wines were tasty too!

One of my favorite wineries in the area! Yummy wine and cool atmosphere! Very modern and has a cute gift shop area. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about Andrew Murray and the winery.

We really enjoyed this cozy little winery and tasting room. The wines were excellent(although I can’t call myself much of a wine connoisseur). The tasting room was sleek and modern. Andrew Murray was there for most of the morning as well. You can go down to the barrel room and walk through the barrels. Spied a couple hungarian barrels, although the majority is french oak. Outside there is a great area to relax and drink. Lots of little activities and games for kids if you decide to bring them here. There’s cornhole and a giant jenga set to play with. The wines were a little pricy though… closer to $ 40 than 30.

The setting and views from the winery were great and the tasting room was nicely done. Unfortunately, the people pouring were not very knowledgeable and had difficulty answering questions from our group of 4 tasters. I like Andrew Murray wines but the tasting experience was blah. Thus the 3 stars. Revised review in April 2016 We returned yesterday and our tasting experience was great. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. As I indicated before, the wines are very good. We joined the club and took home some nice Syrah. It’s now 4 stars.

This was the first stop of three. It was a blazing hot day but fortunately we didn’t have to do much outside touring. We saw a little of the vineyard, the production areas, the lab, and finally the tasting area. The tasting area was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The interior is very modern and classy. The barrel room was pretty cool to see. It was interesting to hear how hands on the owner Andrew was. Overall, good start to a wine touring day.

Took the chocolate flight tasting at the winery I purchased the deal off it included two people for $ 40 to sample four wines, also a tour of the vineyard. I sampled four wines that were paired with truffles from Jessica Foster Truffles. The most delicious truffle to me was the White Chocolate Lavender, mainly because I prefer white chocolate over dark anyways. *2013 Viognier, from Santa Maria Valley paired with white chocolate lavender truffle(my favorite of all four) *2012 Grenache, from Terra Bella Vineyard; Paso Robles paired with milk chocolate cinnamon-apple truffle *2012 Espérance, Central Coast GSM, proprietary red blend paired with milk chocolate coffee truffle *2013 Tous Les Jours Syrah, San Ynez Valley paired with dark pomegranate chocolate truffle This winery is very modern and contemporary. The tasting room has some board games on the table such as tick tack toe and Jenga if your feeling like playing a game. The atmosphere here is very clean, a lot of green succulents and modern barn wood meets cement. A space for a modern day wine Connaseuir to enjoy the scenery outdoors over a large wooden bench basking in the ambience in the Los Olivos valley if you will. I wanted to spend more time here which is why I asked what is the procedure toward membership and here’s the gimmick: this winery is absolutely free to join. There are some fees for other events however the membership has no fee! That was a shock upon hearing this. From Los Angeles it took about three house drive up after work and arrived in Solvang just in time for lunch and then fifteen minutes away we were in Andrew’s Murray home so not bad at all for a Thursday.

My boyfriend and I stopped in with our wine tour this last weekend and had a blast. I loved the modren wood décor. My boyfriend enjoyed a competitive round of corn hole with our Andrew Murray employee Spencer. He was great! Very knowledgable… And if you are taking single ladies here make sure to see if he is around… They have a lovely outside and inside sitting areas

Visited Andrew Murray for the first time and didn’t feel it was a memorable experience. We opted for the wine and chocolate pairing which isn’t something we do a lot of. Our truffle selection was mixed up so it didn’t pair accordingly at first but all in all nothing won me over here. I don’t think I’d return but I am appreciative for the woman who told us about the Alpacas on the Firestone property where Andrew Murray host club member events. We scooted right out of here to go check them out. When I’m more interested in leaving to see a pack of alpacas than have wine — ya know I’m not impressed. They did have a ladder toss lawn game that I was able to beat my boyfriend at, that may have been the highlight for me — beating him at anything is impossible so that was fun!

I purchased a voucher on Travel Zoo for a wine tour with a wine tasting with a chocolate pairing. The wine tour guide Spencer was really knowledgable in the company and explaining the process of harvesting and wine making. The tour was fun and informative, the wine was delicious and the vineyard site was a beautiful, artsy-type lounge space.
