Wow, it’s so great to have a real SOUTH Indian (there is a difference between Tamil India and the northern parts, big country) store in little Los Osos down the street. Bitter gourd on the Central Coast! If yr not familiar, Indian food is easy to prepare/​cook, has a lot of vegetarian dishes and this place is stocked. Welcome to LO.

Savreena and her husband are WONDERFUL. She had every single spice I needed to make an authentic butter chicken. The next time I went in, she told me how to prepare some carrots and cauliflower I was making, Indian style. She is also waiting for the proper permits to begin cooking in the store. YUM YUM. Los Osos is lucky to have this terrific new store… please, support it! :)

Very friendly owners, they have everything I’ve been ordering from around the state (or buying on Amazon and waiting 3 weeks for delivery). The only place to buy curry leaves in this county!

Just stopped in for the first time tonight! The owner is so sweet. I bought a poster and let her know my boyfriend and I would be back soon to buy food to test out some Indian recipes. She immediately cut me off and said, «Dont worry about looking them up online, I’d be happy to write out some recipes next time you come in, and explain how to cook them.» Fantastic customer service. Help keep this local business thriving!
