I’ll start with, I’m not a coffee drinker or really a fan of Starbucks. I occasionally get tea so I decided to stop into the new location down the street. Nice atmosphere but you gotta watch to make sure they make your drink right. I asked for light ice and got a cup completely filled with ice. Pretty darn expensive drink mostly ice.

I love this Starbucks! Everyone that works there is super friendly, they’re really prompt with the drink making and it’s a really comfortable atmosphere. I just wish they were open past nine, but that’s Los Osos for ya :)

Pros: friendly staff. Good location. And easy to find. Cons: bathroom somewhat clean. Price is to high and takes to long to make a drink.

Best Starbucks ever. Their staff are the best and always super nice and willing to make your coffee the way you want it. Every time I’ve ordered they always get it right. I drive from slo and Morro Bay to get my coffee at this Starbucks because of how good they are. Oh and Andy is the best! She is always so sweet and works hard at her job, so thanks to her too!

One of the best starbucks I have been to. The staff is always friendly, take the time to get to know you, and if it’s not right, they’ll make it right. Warm environment with warm people.

It’s a Starbucks. Expensive, mediocre coffee & junky baked goods. This one has consistently pleasant employees, so its got that going for it. Alas, the only other café in town is in Baywood, so I end up here more often than I’d like.

This is in the target store. The tables are always dirty. Every time I go there. I usually get a snack from the target concession stand or whatever it is and go sit at the Starbucks

The key to repeat visitors is good product & great customer service & this location nails it, each & every time. I’ve been a Starbucks barista, so I know how the program works! I appreciate the fact that everyone there knows my name, and what(and how) I like my food & drinks. Andy calls my bagel«Cajun style,»(read: burnt/blakened). Sarah & Trey always want to see my dog, George. Jessica knows(perfectly) how I like my ice water. Yep, ice water. Heavy on the ice, light on the water. Justin humors my «Sexy Back» karaōke performances, you know? From that Other Justin. No, not the Bieber. He’s been known to bust out some dance moves for me, which, as any Diva knows, is crucial to every marginal vocal performance. Claire. Oh Claire. She actually came outside to assist me in removing a tick from George one night! Seriously? Yep! Talk about great customer service! I nominate Claire as employee of the month for that act alone, and she’s in good company people… it’s not just any barista who will burn your bagel, come out to love on your dog, and/or dance to your crappy rendition of JT tunes… I love this place/these people! Truly.

Nice baristas who remember the names and favorite drinks of return customers. In five years of going there, only had one mistake made on a drink, by a new barista. Indoor and outdoor seating Clean bathroom

We were staying at the Inn at Morro Bay and decided to drive the three miles to this store instead of going back to the in-grocery store. It’s not that this store was particularly bad, it just wasn’t worth the drive. The line was long when we walked in and the third barista noticed this and jumped on register, a plus. Service wasn’t amazing, a minus. Parking was tight, another minus. The drive wasn’t worth it, another minus. The coffee was good, as usual– a plus. If I’m in the area, I wouldn’t pass it up. Next time I’m in Morro Bay, I’ll be going to the in-grocery store location.

I am shocked to read the negative reviews. This is my local coffee shop. I try to stay away from chains, but this Starbucks is the closest coffee shop to my house. That said, I love the staff here. I’ve been coming in regularly for about a year. twice in the last month they made my regular order before I even got to the register! Nothing like having your coffee handed to you before you order it! I love these guys so much I brought them Christmas cookies. Big thumbs up.

It pains me to write this. As much as I prefer indie coffee shops, in Los Osos it’s about Starbucks or Star-bust. But at the least, Starbucks is typically consistent in service. But this place bothers me. Being new to the area, I just began visiting this place, but have already been in here at least10 times. And yet, I can get friendlier service at Ralph’s. I don’t like spending money at places that don’t earn it. I can give or take my business anywhere. It’s nice to feel my contribution to your paycheck is appreciated. So to get the same jaded bullshit every time I’m in here is beyond old already. And unlike some businesses, I don’t think they even read these reviews and change accordingly, like any place interested in success or providing appropriate service would be. I’ve worked in food services, I’ve worked in high volume establishments… in Chicago. If you can’t handle this in a town of 10,000 people, get a new job. Customer service is part of the role, slap a smile on and bring some good energy. It bums me out to be in an espresso joint where the employees all appear to be on heroin. And a little update, I just stood at the counter for three minutes while one guy chatted with a customer and a girl behind the other register literally ignored me and then walked away. So I did the same thing. How does anywhere in California stay in business when they constantly treat customers like they don’t matter? Oh, and the overabundance of eight year old girls that come in here dressed like prostitutes is SCARY. Tells you something about the people around here.

So i gave them another chance, amazingly the coffee was actually good this time. But I’ll never EVER go back now. The Batista/cashier REFUSED to sell me a venti cup of water!!! I asked for a venti cup of water, she told me they can only give me grande, first Starbucks that’s ever told me that. So I said I would purchase the venti and they told me NO! Wow! Some places make you pay .25 or .50 for the cup, some places you have to pay for the whole drink even if it’s just water, but they just flat out wouldn’t! Pardon my language, but screw this place. Going to the one in Albertsons from here on out.

Every time I go in here the workers are more concerned about socializing than helping customers. They take to long to make your drinks so if your in a hurry this isn’t the best Starbucks to go to.

I was in Morro Bay last week and wanted a Starbucks fix. I ordered my drink extra hot because I would be taking it back to my motel room in Morro Bay. The girl at the register marked it extra hot, but the barista either doesn’t like customers telling him how hot to make a mocha or he isn’t very good at making mochas. Instead of being extra hot it was just slightly warm. I should have had him fix it but by the time I touched the cup and felt that it wasn’t even hot we had already left and were on the road. The guy seemed to have an attitude so he may have done it on purpose. Some of the Starbucks baristas are real divas so you never know!
