So glad we saw this place on our way from Monterey. The best cupcakes and cookies hands down. Michelle is a absolute amazing person, we were so grateful to have met her.
We tried her cookie samples fresh from the oven– all were amazing. We ended up buying her cupcakes and they are reasonably priced.
If you are in the mood for sweets, this is the best in town.

I am shocked at myself that I have not written a review already! Shame on me! I discovered Michelle’s little bakery back in 2012 and have been a loyal customer ever since. Her cupcakes are to DIE for. I am so sad I moved to North County because now shes’s so far away! My old roommate enjoyed her cake so much that she ordered one for her wedding. Her cookies, oh my gosh!!! I am having a major sweet tooth and might just have to make the trip down to Los Osos. Thank you Michelle for being so kind to your customers!!! I am a LIFE long customer (and you know when I get married, you’re making the cake!!!)

One word: YUM. I meandered into Sweet Alexis Bakery & was greeted by the loveliest woman, who’s also the owner. The environment was friendly & basically made me want to buy everything they had. But, instead of clearing out the fridge, I bought a loaf vegan banana bread & a gluten-​free red velvet cupcake. The bread was AMAZING – so moist, flavorful & fresh. My husband had the cupcake, & said he was pleasantly surprised at how good the frosting was & he enjoyed the sweet density of the cake. This bakery has gained a couple long-​time customers!

Sweet Alexis Bakery makes the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had, hands down. The cake is only the beginning, Michele’s cookies, cupcakes and breads are all off the charts delicious. You would never know this bakery is nut free, egg free and dairy free/​vegan. She ships all over the United States, but if you’re lucky enough to be visiting the central coast make sure to stop by her commercial kitchen and stock up on her delectable treats.

The treats are sooooo delicious! We needed a special cupcake made and they were able to whip a fresh one up for us so quick!!! Everyone is very nice and they’re very community oriented! My daughter, who is a vegan, graduated from Cal Poly this past June. For her graduation picnic, I asked Michele if she could provide vegan cupcakes in a variety of flavors. She also offered to decorate them in Cal Poly colors and they turned out beautifully, and were extremely delicious too! I would highly recommend this bakery!

Unbelievable, dairy free, egg free and nut free?!? The chocolate chip cookies melt in your mouth and I couldn’t stop eating them! The lemon cookies are so delicious too. I couldn’t leave the parking lot without trying them. I’ll try to save the ginger cookies for when I get home. Phenomenal bakery!

Absolutely amazed to walk into an establishment and be immediately greeted then continuing with a phenomenal conversation. So personable and golden! Oh my goodness and the sweets! I had a chocolate cupcake and the gluten free chocolate chip cookies! Absolutely out of this world! Totally satisfied every craving I had at that very moment! I look forward to future visits! I’ve been ordering from Michele, the owner, since she first started. I was looking for allergy friendly desserts and found her website. As a parent of a food allergic child, its extremely scary to trust someones cooking, but after reading her bio and seeing her child suffered the same allergies as mine, I felt safe for the first time. My daughter and I finally met Michele personally 3 years ago, we live 3 hours away, but we wanted to meet this wonderful lady that has allowed my daughter to enjoy yummy cupcakes, cookies and breads. I order cupcakes for my daughters birthday every year and we now go visit Michele every summer. Her bakery is completely safe. Recently I called saying I needed cupcakes within 3 days, she said they would be there in time, they arrived the next day! I was so surprised. I love Michele, she is an awesome baker and such a sweet lady. I know it sounds as if I know her very well, but thats because I’ve been a customer since the beginning, 8 years 10 years, I don’t remember. I’ve talked with her several times on the phone over the years and she makes you feel like a friend, not a customer. I can’t say enough nice things about Sweet Alexis, great baker and great personality. Thank you so very much for always coming through for me!!!

Super great cupcakes and cookies and treats. This is the only place I will order cupcakes from for a party and my second year doing so. They are always a big hit. And they are vegan to boot! My vegan guests (one child out of the 20 and his Dad) said they felt so good to be more included in the festivities by the fact that they got to eat the same cupcakes as everyone else. That alone is worth it. :)

I am not into sweets… usually. This place has converted me. That is a bad thing. But it is up to me to keep it in check. They just pump out awesome food! My favorite thing, ever, is: Brown Butter Cookies. O.M.G. I mean, seriously, OH MY GOD. Good? Yes. Excellent? Yes. Best «sweet» I have ever eaten? Ever? In my entire life? YES. Go there. Now. Vegans — a sweet oasis in Los Osos. Seriously. :-)

Love the cupcakes and cookies! The owner Michele makes amazing bakery items and honestly is the gem of Los Osos. I could eat her cupcakes anytime of the day and love, love, love the holiday cupcakes and cookies she creates each month. The red velvet cupcakes are too die for! My favorite vegan dessert place on the Central Coast!

Love this place. My nephew has life threatening nut allergies. It’s wonderful that he has a place to go on vacation where he can eat the food instead of bringing his own. Not only are they tasty, but they’re fresh made. They even ship if you don’t live local. The owner and her family are crazy nice people too. Can’t recommend Sweet Alexis enough. Love it.

I found Sweet Alexis Bakery on Unilocal prior to our visit to Los Osos for a family Thanksgiving dinner. I brought a dozen cupcakes to share and they were not only beautiful but delicious too.
The next week my husband and I were discussing Christmas gifts to send to his clients in NYC, California and Hawaii. I called Michele to see if she could help us. Michele was wonderful to work with. She worked her tail off to get our cookies to our clients quickly and with creativity in her packaging as well. An added bonus: Our clients loved their gifts! Thank you Michele. We hope to do it again in 2014.

My family loves Sweet Alexis Bakery! Everything is so fresh and delicious. The owner/​baker will treat you like family and is always happy to help you find just what you’re craving and it’s allergen free. The store has a warm and cozy kid friendly atmosphere… you’ll get so comfy you’ll never want to leave.

I recently hosted a celebration for about 40 people and planned on a decorated cake for dessert. I also purchased 8 of Sweet Alexis’ chocolate cupcakes (dairy free, gluten free) because I heard a few attendees might have food allergies.
The cupcakes were a big hit! One woman told me «I haven had a treat in two years! Thanks for buying something I can eat!» So many people wanted them.

Yum Yum and Yum! Michelle is so sweet, and offered me a free cookie just for walking in! I’m vegan, so I’m biased, but honestly I feel like if I gave these to my non-​vegan mother, she would not be able to tell the difference & would want more :) Vibe is cute inside, Michelle is personable and loves to share the story of Sweet Alexis. Just wish I could catch them when they are open, but I work in SLO, and can’t get over there until after 5 weekdays… it might be for the best! Can’t wait to get some more!

I love this place! Every time I visit my grandmother in Los Osos I MJST stop here! Being vegan there aren’t a whole lot of deliciously sweet options, and I am thankful to have found this place! It is a very small shop but decorated very cute. The hours are a bit weird but it is so conveniently close by. The owner is very nice and friendly. I give the sweets an A+!

The baked goods are excellent. You don’t sacrifice taste for this allergen free baking.
