Worst experience at this Skyline today. arrived at 12:15pm, waited 40 minutes and never received our food. Manager seemed unconcerned.

When I pulled into the parking lot, I see a Denny’s employee smoking crack from his crack pipe behind the restaurant. That’s not Skyline’s fault, but it is something that makes an impression on customers. Never seen that before except on Cops on TV.
Anyway, upon walking in, it isn’t obvious if I should find a seat or wait for a waitress. Finally I asked then just took a seat. The waitress was nice enough. The food is just ok, and that’s crazy because Skyline used to be my favorite place in town to eat, although I almost always got it through drive thru.
Not sure what changed in terms of the quality of the food. It still decent, just not great like it once was. And for $ 14 for 1 person (3 way + coney and drink) that’s a bit much.

What can you say? It’s Cincinnati chili — you either like it or you don’t. Food and service are always reliable and salads are always fresh for a chili place — no squishy tomatoes or brown lettuce. Only improvement would be to offer Coke products. 3 stars is about as high as fast food chili deserves — so 3⁄3 is about as good as you can get.

This Skyline Chili has an attractive dining room. It is very large, and appointed as a modern casual dining restaurant rather than as a fast food place.
The chili is good. It’s Cincinnati style, with a cinnamon edge and served over spaghetti noodles.
Skyline serves excellent freshly brewed iced tea.
Three-​way chili, $ 5.89, unsweet iced tea, $ 1.99.

I’m a bit puzzled about the good reviews for this establishment.
The server was a bit hurried, unhelpful, and unfriendly. I’m not sure why, since the place wasn’t busy at all (strange for 6:30PM on a «kids eat free» night, right?).
The food: Cheap, quick, and easy. Chili (strange flavor… cumin?) spaghetti, coney dogs, burritos, a few salads. Our food was room-​temp (at best) when it was delivered to the table. Um, cold hot dogs, soggy spaghetti noodles, and chili are kind of… wrong and disgusting. :-(I’d have sent it back, but I just didn’t see the point.

There’s nothing like a 4-​way with onions! The coneys also!
Service was exceptionally wonderful. They always have a smile, and the food comes out quick and hot.

As a Cincinnati kid, there is always something special about being able to eat Skyline here in Louisville. Unlike other Skyline’s I have tried, such as in Florida, this Skyline still seems to have the same «heart» of a Cincinnati Skyline. The Chili is great and works with everything on the menu! Also, the service is super friendly and fast, making it a pleasant experience each time.

Skyline is always fast and good service. Place is clean and never to loud or busy. I come here because I am from south west Ohio and it reminds me of home. Would be 5 stars but come on its Skyline Chili.
