We came here Friday 1⁄15 to see if anything had changed since our last visit. Amazingly they do have a floor manager now that is more efficiently running the place. More waitresses that are faster and seem to be doing a better job. Food was good however was a little disappointed we never got asked for a refill on our chips and salsa. The still looming waste of space in here is the west side they are allocating for tables of 5 or more people. I noticed there was only a party of 2 sitting there since the middle section was full. Imagine leasing this huge building but yet 1⁄3rd of it is being wasted the way the are operating it. Please get rid of the west side 5 or more section. Overall it had improved some but still needs more changes in here.

After recently moving to Loveland, I have been on a personal mission to find the best breakfast burrito in the area. My first experience with Santiago’s breakfast burrito was one I purchased from a gas station in town. That burrito was by far, hands down, without a doubt, the most disgusting burrito I have ever attempted to consume. The burrito was leaking juice outside of the foil wrapper before I ever even got it open. The inside consistency was similar to that of a chunky soup. The worst part of this experience was I was in the middle of this burrito fiasco while trying to drive down I-25 at 8am. Needles to say, I didn’t get more than one bite into the burrito before frantically searching for a way out of this crisis. Having no sort of receptacle to dispose of the soupy tortilla, I ended up putting it into a hat I had nearby. Fast forward a few weeks, I’m still on the search for the best breakfast burrito and after seeing many Santiago’s restaurants in the area, I figure it must be okay. So I reluctantly decide to give their burrito a second chance. Thinking that if I try one in the store, hot off the press, it would presumably be better than the one I had second hand at the conoco. I enter the store and am thinking ok this might be ok. I waited patiently in line and finally reached the counter. I asked for a chorizo breakfast burrito, given that chorizo is the corner stone of Mexican cuisine, and the best meat choice for any breakfast burrito. I was quickly told that bacon was the«meat of the day» and that chorizo wasn’t going to be in my future. To my dismay, I accepted the one and only meat option of bacon. Before completing my transaction, I asked the girl at the counter, «is your sauce really saucy» trying to avoid the same incident from my previous Santiago’s experience. I was happily told«no it’s not». At this point I’m feeling optimistic. After a short wait I am handed my burrito. Feeling excited I head to my vehicle to inspect my breakfast. As you may be expecting at this point, I unwrap my burrito and found a complete soupy mess. Despite the fact that the flavor of these burritos is subpar at best, the consistency is completely inedible. How any self respecting creator of Mexican cuisine can sell anything close to what these burritos are escapes me. In conclusion, save yourself the money, time, and most importantly, the mess that these burritos(read: soup filled soggy tortillas) create. I will never patronize another Santiago’s for any reason at any time, and will do my best to save anyone I come across the time.

BESTPLACEEVER THEGREENCHILIISLIKEJESUSCHILI Seriously though I come here probably two or three times a month at least. Love the staff they all know me and my fiancé by now. Love the breakfast too. Really like how I can get it to go. I absolutely love this place. And it’s cheap!
