Holy crap, this place is good! I’ve had the horchata, melon agua fresca, eggs and chorizo, and the chorizo torta — all magic! Seriously — get yourself over here and make your belly happy!

Authentic Mexican tacos! Salsa bar! All it is super tasty. My mom got the Chilie Reyeno, super tasty. Eat here more often and get your tacos, real tacos!

Legit. I’m from Los Angeles and grew up eating El Torino, King Taco, etc. while this place isn’t at that level, it’s the closest I’ve found in NoCO so far. If you’re looking for good street style tacos and tasty Mexican food, this place is pretty darn good. The hot sauce is actually hot and the meats are flavored well. I had carne asada tacos and the al pastor burrito so far. Good to go. NOT tex mex. Would be a 4 star in SoCal but solid 5 stars here.

Our waitress was not friendly at all, never came by to check how everything was. I was out of water before my food even arrived and it was never refilled. The place was not very busy so not sure why she never checked on us. To top it all off the food was mediocre. Will not be back.

We wanted to try this restaurant so we ordered take out. I wanted to order ala carte for my meal and the price of enchiladas was not on the menu and I wanted 1 with rice and beans. I was charged for a full meal and my server had to argue with the owner/manager. She was not friendly at all. This is not a way to treat a new and interested customer. The serving sizes for takeout were tiny, the food ok. One of the items we had paid for was not in our bag when we got home. We are still looking for a good place to go for Mexican food in Loveland. This place is not it.

This is an amazing place to eat. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in northern Colorado, this one is the best! There are other Los Comales taquerias in the area, but this Loveland location is always clean, friendly, and the food is prepared with culture and care. EATHERE, you won’t be disappointed!

Marinated pork tacos were okay. Not very flavorful. My friends chicken burrito was very plain. The green chili was good. That’s about it. Service was okay as well. Probably would not return.

Terrible! Asked for chips and was charged $ 1.50 and they were stale. One entrée ordered was a chicken burrito and it had a 2″ bone in it! When we told the waitress she laughed and asked if we wanted another. We declined and she offered a sopapilla That arrived steaming hot and burned my daughters finger! The ice cream scoop in the middle was so frozen we could not eat it. It also had 3 frozen cherries in it that we could not pull out cause we don’t like cherries. No offer to comp the burrito that my daughter barely ate. She thought she was going to be sick. Would give NO stars at all!

Terrible ! Worst tacos I have ever had. They were cold and had many pieces of fat. Me and my brother were very hungry and our plates were left untouched. One taste of that meat and we were like wtf is this shit? Its an insult to good Mexican food. It isn’t even the first time, I come because they show boxing matches and last time the food was more fresh but absolutely bland and tasteless. I don’t know why there are good reviews because I know good food and this food is worst then school lunches. The worst part about it was we still got charged after clearly telling them we didn’t like it and lost our appetite. Avoid at all cost, the other reviewers don’t know what they are talking about.

Go here only if you can handle spicy Mexican food. The green chile is excellent and the twelve, or so, different salsas are all well made. It is a clean restaurant with fast service. This is a rare treat in northern Colorado.

The food here is good and it is pretty authentic. For a long time is was really hard to find a real authentic taqueria in the area. This taqueria(taco shop) is true to the taquerias you’d find in Mexico. The food is delicious and the service is good. They have aguas frescas and a variety of Mexican Beers and sodas. Tacos– you pick your meat and then they have a great salsa bar where you load up on all the salsas you want. They have carne asada, carnitas, chuleta, pollo, pescado, lengua, chorizo, as well as specialty meats. Tortas– the same meats plus Milanesa and ham can be had on these mouth watering sandwiches. The sandwich, or torta, is filled with your choice of meat, avocado, cheese, beans, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and salsa. These are filling and delicious. Burritos– get them with your choice of meat smothered or regular. They have the fried option which is called a chimichanga. Plates and Fajitas– get them with rice and beans as well as your choice of corn or flour tortillas. They also have menudo and clasp de res. ask for the daily specials. While fried fish, steaks, and chicken plates are also on the menu.

First time eating there last night. We shared the fajitas. More than enough food and they tasted great. Service was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back soon.

Their Agua de Melon is amazing! This is a taqueria, so tacos should be good here. As you might know, an authentic mexican taco stand will give you small tortillas, meat, cilantro and onions then you take that and pour whatever salsa you fancy. This is where Los Comales excels. Their salsa bar is phenomenal! It makes the tacos! This is our favorite mexican place. If authenticity is not your thing, Santiagos and Taco Bell will do. They do need more servers, refills and such were slow but not unbearable. Again, best mexican in town.

«Real Fresh, Real Fast, Real Good». That slogan is printed on the waitresses Taqueria shirts, and it’s not there by accident. We were served our lunch in roughly 5 minutes, the food was amazingly fresh, and the price was incredibly affordable. Love the salsa bar too, unique and perfect for trying out the many different options available. Couldn’t be happier, will certainly be back.

The food here is really good! But all the other bullshit isn’t worth it. I give it 1 star because the service is horrible. They don’t speak enough English to understand you and take your Order properly. I’ve been there 3 times and every time they either mess up the order or add extra things to the bill. Watch out with this. They will over charge you if your not watching every detail. It’s annoying. The waitstaff is slow and always sitting down chatting instead of making sure the customers are happy. No chips either. This place sucks!

Our favorite Mexican food in Loveland. We were fans of them in FoCo and so happy they came to Loveland. I think they’re the only ones in town who have aguas frescas(mmmm) so when you visit don’t take a soft drink, try their lemonade. I know they are the only ones who serve authentic favorites like tripitas and their menudo and tortas are delish. We haven’t tried a dish we didn’t like.

Mexican food in Colorado is usually disappointing(what’s up with that?!), but we were happy with the quality, flavor and service here. Would definitely go back again.

If I could give this less than one star I would. We sat for 30 mins and they never came and took our order. Do you know why? Because waiting tables when the place is half empty is hard work folks. HARDWORK. Is the food good? Fuck if I know!!! Because we couldn’t order it to eat any of it. I wasn’t aware restaurants were for taking a seat, sipping on water and watching idiot waitresses bumble around and cackle in Spanish to each other while the business fails because they can’t write fucking orders on a piece of paper and bring it to the kitchen. Anger.

Don’t bother coming here, you’ll only be disappointed. :( So we walked in, was seated right away. Spent about 3 minutes deciding and were ready to order. Waited 12 minutes before the waitress came back for our orders, and drink orders. Chips aren’t complimentary either. Chips were home made, but dry and cold, like eating a cold film of grease. I’ve had better I didn’t have to pay for. Plus we had to remind the waitress three times ordered chips. Received napkins after 18 minutes being here. Food only took 10 minutes from time of ordering to receiving. Apologies from the waitress, but damage is done. Finally get to rate the food after the horror so far. First thing, presentation is ok, looked a little thrown together. Instant rice inside, some still crunchy. Sauce tastes like a Campbell’s based, which is fine, but takes away from the restaurant experience when you could make something similar at home. Got some guacamole from the salsa bar to try and give it more flavor(since it was pretty bland), and it tasted watered down too. Looking at a friends steak burrito, there’s also chicken in it as filler. Really?! You pay for steak and get mostly chicken?! One star for sure. Guess I’ll close up with sending my best wishes to the owner. Thank you for starting a new business in Loveland and offering a new Mexican restaurant, but if you’re trying to compete with El Pueblito or 3 margaritas, and a place like Penguins couldn’t survive here… You might have bet on the wrong horse my friend.
