It’s been a while since I’ve been to Bash’s but I’m glad to say they still provide the same fun environment I remember. Penny pints on Monday nights is what they’re widely known for, but the service here is awesome too! Hands down, Dawn is one of the most fun and interactive bartenders I’ve had in Lubbock and is the reason we’ll continue to frequent this bar. I can’t say enough about the staff and how hard they work to make sure everyone is having a great time, while still looking out for the guest’s safety. If you’ve never been please check this place out. It’s a guaranteed good time with cheap prices.

The epitome of a college bar. Bash Riprock’s prime night is Monday, where for a cover of $ 8 and a $ 1 at the bar you can drink until you’ve had your fill, of cheap beer of course, which is why you go to a college bar in the first place right? A spot to unwind on a Monday night.

Great environment now that they remodeled, however this is still the shit hole of broadway. Would highly recommend anywhere else

Love playing trivia here; have been doing so since 2005! However, I feel it is appropriate to give a warning– DONOTSPENDMONEYONTHEJUKEBOX!!! Bartender has a remote control for the jukebox and will skip songs arbitrarily as they see fit and will NOT reimburse you for doing so! Confronted them about it and they were unapologetic…

I enjoyed my time at Bash Riprocks. The atmosphere is great. The beer is pretty cheap. Went there to watch a fight. They even have live music which I thought was very neat, but OMGosh I hated the bathrooms because it is super small and such a tight squeeze. Overall, it is a great place to hang out with friends.

What can I say… it’s Bash’s. When I lived in Lubbock, this was my go-to place. Its near campus and always has good specials or just plain cheap beer. It is a college bar, it is run down, and probably not the cleanest place, but that is why I like it. It has character, its been there forever, and that is what makes it great. Service is usually good(I usually just order form the bar anyways, so I guess it is always fast). The thing that we continue to go back for is the beer selection. They have 15 or so taps, but they are normally just standard not-so-exciting light beers and standard beers that you see(Guiness, Harp, etc). But their saving grace is the 150+ bottles that they have that you can drink for good prices. I want to say that they are all normally 3.75 or less(2.50 on Sundays) and you can get some good ones in that for cheap(Unibroue, Dogfish, etc). Also, on Saturdays, they have 2.00 domestic pints all night. The only reason I do not give the place 5 stars is because it is in Lubbock and therefor smoky. I will never give a place that you can smoke inside 5 stars… but that is more on Lubbock than the bar.

I had to write a review for«Bash’s». I am one of the originals that opened this place in 1985. I bartended from 86 – 88 and loved the atmosphere and location… we started the live music their and now love that they have helped launch some pretty major acts such as Pat Green and Cory Morrow… not sure if they still do «quad» nite anymore. Bash’s in the day used to have the coldest beer on tap in town(according to all the beer distributors anyways)…I hope all is well in Lubbock and look forward to my next visit their.
