Hub City Wings

Ordered delivery. Wings were dry and bland with all the sauce pooled at the bottom. Blue cheese tasted like cheap kraft brand. Fries were soggy and mozz sticks were hard and cold. On the top of all that they forgot my dr pepper. All this for 44 dollars, never again.

Had a friend recommend this place to me & my boyfriend so we decided to check it out.
We ordered the mild & it was still very spicy! There’s so many fry choices it was hard to choose! We got the Cheesy Cheddar ones & we’re not disappointed! I still prefer Wingstop but this is a good second.

Yeah I think these guys would rather go to jury duty instead of participating in good food service. Only reason I gave them two stars is because I sort of like the name

Fantastic wings, decent pastrami sandwich. Great for take out, not really dine-​in material. Worth trying if you haven’t yet. Great for parties

Great wings, great variety of sauces, very accommodating we had our newborn with us and they tried everything they could to make us as comfortable as can be. Definitely worth telling your friends about this!

I had the pleasure of having their wings last night delivered to my apt, and I must say they were really good! I got the spicy bbq and the fried green beans. They were fresh and really crispy. Not bad at all for a $ 3 delivery fee that got them here in under 20 minutes. If I was going out for wings, I don’t know that I would choose them… but for a late night of studying and no motivation to cook … These were perfect. Will order again next week to have while I’m prepping for my next presentation. :-)

Ordered online tonight through Unilocal and the food was here quick! The wings were very tasty, and the fried green beans were still crispy! YUMM!

Hands down the best wings in Lubbock! I went to school in Austin, and my gold standard is pluckers. Just to give you an idea, I think Buffalo Wild Wings is too small, although good flavors. And Wingstop isn’t even in the conversation. Hub City wings has both size and flavor! And while I am 100% for bone-​in wings, I’ve got to admit that their boneless wings are the best I’ve ever had and I would certainly order it again as well. My favorite flavor is there Korean BBQ, also very unique! the staff is very nice and welcoming, and without a doubt this should be the only place to consider if you’re looking for wings in Lubbock.

I’m a person who always wants some chicken wings. Who doesn’t? I went to this place a couple of times with half off Groupon. With 50% off, the wings tasted even better. Their wings are small but tasty. Food was slow though. If it wasn’t the Groupon, I’m not sure if I’ll call it overpriced or not.

Ordered delivery and food was cold. We ordered a burger combo and a wing combo. I did not get the extra mayo I asked for and the cheesy cheddar fries were horrible. They tasted like generic cheetos with the powder cheese crap they use. My roommate couldn’t even eat his wings they tasted so bad and his fries were horrible as well and he didn’t order the cheesy ones. We ended up throwing the food away. Our combos also said brownie bites and we only got one each. We will not order from here again!!!

My wife and I have been here twice in the past two weeks. Each time has been OUTSTANDING !!
The wings both times were fresh and hot and tasted great. The staff was pleasant at both visits. This is not your run of the mill wing joint they do a much better job.

Ok. Do not use it GrubHub. 2 hrs. no food. This is second time they have failed to deliver… AT ALL! Not sure if food is good. I called and they said «they overlooked our order cause they got busy». Thanks!

Poor service! She left me on the phone for a whole 7 minutes and never came back to me. Now not only am I starving but I was stolen from a meal I wanted to try out for the first time. Horrible management.

Things have changed here with the new management, and change has not been good. From the quality of food to leaving promotions and coupons online but refusing the honor them, this place has definitely gone down here. Once a 21^st century company accepting online and phone orders, this company has recently reverted to the 19^th century, ridding itself of online ordering and often unavailable for phone ordering due to no one answering the phone (or an inadequate phone system). All in all, this place is quickly sliding down to become one of the worst places in Lubbock.

Raider hot and lemon pepper chicken are our usual but all the other favors are worth a try. Great sides and selection. My kids love the fries, you can season them with several different flavors. Would recommend this lil hole in the wall over other wing places in Lubbock. Overall decent prices

Wings are like Whoa! I had the garlic parm, and the Thai rub and literally got mad when they were gone! These are now my new standard for which I will judge all other wings. I had some fries too or whatever but dem wings tho!!!

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while, because driving by I had seen their really nice patio with booths, shade, and flowers. Stopped in finally for lunch. Too windy to enjoy the patio, although some hardy teenagers were out there.
We got the 20 wing combo. Comes with 20 wings (we got bone-​in), dips, fries with flavor of your choice, 2 fried cheescake balls, veggie sticks, and drinks. The drinks was supposed to be a 2 liter, but they were sold out so we got fountain drinks instead. The order was just under $ 24 total.
We ate in and the food came out smoking hot. The fried cheesecake was fun, kind of reminded me of the fair. The wings were very hot, since they were cooked fresh. We got half lemon pepper (better than WingStop) and half Raspberry Chipotle (the owner was in and said this is an exclusive flavor). The wings were definitely larger than ones I have ordered at WingStop (my used-​to-​be favorite until their customer service got SO bad).
I really like this place. It is cute, with fun diner and Tech décor. The patio would be great for a nice day. The owner and waitress were both very friendly and attentive (getting refills, busing the table, asking how we were). And the food was very affordable, especially compared to similar wing places.
They also have burgers and smoothies and stuff, we didn’t try them, but several customers came in while we were eating and got the burgers.
