Jimmy John’s

This location is awful. Ordered from the online site and «customized» my sandwich. After about 45 minutes it finally showed up at my hotel. When the driver got to me she had forgot my drink in her car and was annoyed that I wanted her to go get it. After I got what I paid for I opened the sandwich it was nothing that I asked for! It was like they didn’t even take the time to look at what I wanted. Ridiculous.

It took this location AN HOUR to deliver to me. I am 0.5 miles away. Every other location I have ever ordered from has delivered to me within 15 minutes. When I called they weren’t apologetic at all. DISGRACEFUL.

I’ve had some minor trouble here before but decided to give them another shot and since then I’ve never had an issue. Today I ordered my usual sandwich and is was the best one I’ve ever gotten from them. Thanks guys for the bomb lunch! Literally made my day, it was that good.

Unfortunately, due to being literally across the street from the supposed «4^th St cutoff» of their delivery area, they refuse to deliver only 0.7 miles away to the brand new Courtyard Marriott hotel. Seems like a pretty arbitrary limitation of their business when it’s just literally a five minute drive at the most, if that. Spoke to two helpless employees, both blamed on their manager’s hard set and arbitrary rule. OK, give up tons of business travelers’ money to your competitors, seems like a very good and profitable idea.
For anyone staying at the new Courtyard Marriott — Papa Johns does deliver here. Jimmy Johns does not, at least as of the time of this review. Maybe they’ll cure themselves of their money allergy and change their «policy» in the future. Ahh Lubbock, LOL.

Not really impressed. I had the Beach Club and it was ok for a cold sub. I would have liked it better if the bread was toasted but they don’t do toasted that I could tell. The bread was good and meat and veggies were fresh. It was ok if you want a cold sandwich.

Not freaky fast
Okay so I got drunk. Tried to order a sandwhich, completely unwilling to compromise. Would not deliver to me personally. Highly upset and hungry.

I take back all good I said about this facility. We ordered our food well before closing and sat down to eat and some «knucklehead» manager (dressed in street clothes) suggested we get out so they could close down. Staff was awesome up until the point the «knucklehead» came in. Stay away late nite or when the «knucklehead» is on duty

I wish I could give a 4.5 for this place because that is what it deserves. In the past I have had a couple of problems with my sandwiches at this location but in the past year or so, it seems every time I order a sandwich, it’s the same delicious one I ordered before. Sure the prices are a little high compared to subpar subways or Quiznos, but damn they have something that makes my stomach want more. Great staff, super fast and absolutely delicious. Happy to have you guys nearby.

Maybe it’s just growing on me or something, but I feel like Jimmy John’s has gotten way better. Maybe it’s fresher ingredients or maybe it’s just me not being so damn picky about my sandwich anymore.
Whatever it is, I find myself craving this place.

Jimmy Johns is greater than any other place open till 3 a.m. on a weekend.
I love the garg. after a long night drinking, and I love a turkey tom no sprouts and no tomatoes with cheese any other time.
This place rocks! Also, if you go late enough, their day old bread is not day old! I love this place. Also, they have bicycle delivery to the library and it comes fast!

They have a pretty limited menu in that they only have cold sandwiches. But, the prices are reasonable, the ingredients good quality, and the bread excellent.
Overall, if you are just looking for an extremely fast good lunch, Jimmy Johns is an excellent choice.
And they deliver (albeit to a pretty small area around campus).

Surprisingly tasty!
It was late night, my friend and I were in search of some grub to consume after some drinks, and Jimmy John’s is open until midnight! Nice!
I ordered a veggie on whole grain, and it was excellent. You can’t always get high quality veggie options in Texas, but Jimmy John’s nailed it!
I would definitely return.
