Ordered 2 sets of potato skins to go. When my husband brought them home one set were so burnt I couldn’t cut through them, his were very dry but he considered them edible(the guy will eat anything). I called them, they were happy to remake. Once again my husband makes the trek down there to pick up. Second set looked better so home he came. I was able to get a few bites before they too turned to bricks. Having been told the first ones were so massively overcooked you would expect them to modify the cooking time on the second set. The first few bites of the new ones weren’t bad but the rest were inedible. Edited to add the potato skins normally come with sour cream and brisket on them. I had requested those items be left off. Mine only had the cheese and bacon on them.

Food was just ok… nothing special. Expected WAY more for the prices we paid. Family of 5 and our bill was well over $ 100. When we pay that much for a meal, I expect soooo much more. Doubt I’ll be returning!

I can’t imagine where any of the people with unfavorable reviews were eating. Very clean, comfortable, very nice young man waited on us now the food… great. Tuesday is all you can eat ribs, 12.99 for the St. Louis and 14.99 for the baby back. All of the usual all you can eat rules apply. I had the baked beans and fried okra and my husband had slaw and fries. The ribs are actually very good. I’m a rib snob so please believe me. I got the baby back ribs dry rub and sweet and sticky. Both were excellent. Highly recommended.

Just jacked up a three meat plate(brisket, ribs, and sausage) with sides and Texas toast. You ever broke a sweat while putting in some work on some ribs? I hadn’t either till now, but totally glad I did. This beats the gym any day!

Place is clean service was fast, waitress would have been more friendly. The processed turkey loaf thing wasn’t very good. I can’t be leave they serve that. I bet the chicken is the same way. All in all not to bad.

NEVEREVER order their wings… worst ever! Tasted worse than the frozen wings… I ordered Parmesan garlic and Asian and barely has flavor. The skin was thick and fatty with no crispiness at all. They really tasted microwaved. Bad bad bad.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been so disappointed with the food. It’s often cold, tastes like it’s been microwaved and just isn’t as good as it used to be. Then I’ve also seen their health dept scores for the past year and I just don’t think mgt cares anymore.

We just moved here from California, ate here last night because it was close, us 3 girls just loved it, even my extremely picky guy loved it. The sauce is fabulous. We went a second time for lunch, everything is good and I highly recommend it but if your are Gluten Free, I suggest being very careful with what you order.

Very slow service, food just ok. When you have kids, you are not looking to wait 20 minutes to order. Food was average, portions were large, prices high. They should make their portions smaller and lower their prices. Their famous fries were nothing special, just average. I’ve had better bbq in Lubbock. Judging by the empty restaurant, so have others. Won’t go back.

I’ve known this place has been around for a while, but never tried it. First thing I noticed after walking in was the lighting. Very dark, and was sat in the back, in a corner. There were plenty of tables open, and more towards the center of the room. So I don’t understand why I was sat in the corner. After placing my order I attempted to enjoy a room temperature bottled Root Beer that my waitress apologized for. Anyone who enjoys Root Beer knows, it’s usually best wen it’s very very cold. The chicken quesadilla was good but a little on the cool side. The Crib-Seasoned cheese fries were all stuck together by the melted cheese. That usually happens with bagged cheese and a microwave. However, The Super Spud was rather enjoyable and the Southern-fried Okra also was delicious. I had a bit of everything. The ribs were good and slid off the bone. The Southern Pulled Pork had a weird flavor so i decided not to finish them. All in all, this place was a little too dark for me. Aside from some flavorless and weird tasting food, I like being able to see what I am eating and sitting in the corner, being forgotten by the waitress multiple times on a very slow night doesn’t sit well with me.

The BBQ was good. same as most BBQ places. Got the wrong side dish, toast was burned, sides not great. Glad I tried it but will probably not go back.

A coworker recommended this place to me. Being from NC we say we have the best of the bbq world. The service was great and quick. I got the ribs, they were pretty good, but I’m still searching for the best ribs in the area. The search is still on.

I am a food snob in general because cooking is a passionate hobby if mine and I am always critical. I am especially critical of rib places because that is one of my favorites to make. This place puts mine to shame and is hands down the best rib place I have gone to. Ribs are moist, very flavorful and fall off the bone. Can literally eat with a fork if you want. Sauces and side are also hearty and good. The place looks like a franchise type restaurant, but ribs are as good as any all town homemade BBQ place in Texas! Can’t speak to the services as we ordered out, but staff seemed friendly in the phone and when picking up order. I would recommend to anyone.

As I walked in, the place is very nice. I love their decorations such as the raccoon, buffalo, paintings, antlers chandeliers, etc. Our waiter was very friendly and polite, but when it came to the food, it was not great. All the meat was dry, seems not fresh, and did not come out hot but more on the cold side. The meat was a bit bland and even the mashed potatoes were bland. The BBQ sauces were okay and another thing, when it said hot BBQ sauce, it wasn’t hot at all and it leaned more towards the sweet side. Overall, I think the place is nice and decent, waiter was fantastic, but the foods are a no no.

Worst BBQ in town. with so many good local joints why do anyone ever eat at this chain. Dry tasteless ribs, over priced food… cloyingly sweet sauce, what is there to like? Oh, good service from the college kid.
