I have always had fast great service here and the burittos with homemade salsa are my favorite morning staple plus they’re only 4 $ and you get a lot of food for the price.

I read the other reviews and one sounds too good and the other sounds like a hater. The truth from a real customer is these donuts are very good. The only better is a hot fresh Krispy cream when the lights on. These donuts are sometimes hot but always very good. I’ve never had a problem with how long it takes to check out even when their busy. I’ve been here many times and its the only place I buy donuts and kolaches ever. Very good quality, taste, and a good place to start your day if you want a relaxing place to read the newspaper and have donuts.

The doughnuts here are always fresh. They make them daily, and close around lunch time… so YES I can appreciate warm, fresh, doughnuts every morning! The downside I have experienced here at the Frankford location is that I have purchased the same order 3 days in a row…(yes they are that good) and each time I paid a different price… hmmm so BEWARE

I’m still a big fan on Rise ‘n’ Shine donuts but the service seems to have gotten slower recently. They rearranged the counter and shelving on the inside and I think it works better but they compensated a more efficient design with moving slower. If you are in the area, they are still best choice for donuts, just try not to be in a huge hurry.

Sometimes you wonder if the owners are writing the first reviews. The donuts here never seem to be fresh. Always cold and have the consistency of a old donut. I don’t know where to recommend in lubbock for a good non Krispy Kreme donut, but this is not it. I wonder if this business has new owners. The workers have sure changed.
