The Bistro

One of my most favorite places to eat! The food there is unbelievable their menu is unsurpassed! I only wish they had longer hours during the day! They have food there that would make you crave things you can only have on the weekdays!!!

What a gem of a find for lunch in Lubbock. Being in town on business, I counted on Unilocal to find me something besides chain restaurants and Mexican food. While there were only 3 – 4 reviews for Bistro, I decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did.
The pretzel roll brisket sandwich was outstanding. Not overwhelming in size, (thankfully), the pretzel roll had a slight crunchy exterior with that soft
Pretzel texture inside. The brisket was extremely tender, not chewy at all. To top it off were sautéed onions and peppers and pepper jack cheese that was nice and melty. I also had a cup of their tomato soup and quite honestly it was one of the best tomato soups I’ve ever had.
The service was warm, friendly, and efficient. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular!

Loved it– great salads. Wish they didn’t serve «for here» orders in to go boxes with plastic ware. Also wish they had more than one soup option per day! Panninis looked good but we all had Greek salads. Lighter dressing options would also be nice! But overall really like this place! Wish it was closer to my side of town

We went to the Bistro for the first time last night and could not have been more impressed. The food (chicken salad sandwich, chicken noodle soup, salad nicoise) was fresh and delicious. The desserts (brownie, pecan pie) were standouts as well.
The staff was friendly and helpful, too. I will certainly be back!

I love The Bistro! Their soups, salads and sandwiches are all delicious (and very fresh). My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup! I only wish their portions were a little larger because I can’t get enough every time I go! :)
