Homestyle Hostel for dinner on Friday night was excellent. Arancini, garlic potatoes, scallops chocolate cheesecake were big hits. thanks!

We had dinner here and everything was amazing. I let our waitress know about my tree nut allergy and while they acknowledged it they didn’t completely overreact which I hate at most places. The chef came out to let us know there would be no cross contamination as he has one as well. We started with the green curried mussels which were the best mussels we’ve ever had. What an awesome sauce! We also had the Mac and cheese with kale and beef and the mahi mahi. Mahi mahi was cooked perfectly. I also had an awesome cocktail here. Service, food and drink were all perfect and we can’t wait to return.

We love this place. Justin and Eliza are creating a place that just oozes good vibes. The cocktail atmosphere is incredible — as are the cocktails. Best wine list in Ludlow. And the food is great. Can’t wait for the official restaurant opening. But don’t tell anyone!

We ran into the owners at the liquor store and questioned all the liquor. They told us about the Hostel. We stopped for a drink and ended up ordering an appetizer. Excellent appetizer and drinks. I love the atmosphere. We will be back

This place is straight good vibes, truly great food, and some of the most well-​balanced and creative cocktails I’ve had in a long while. The Autumn in Vermont is bourbon, cinnamon syrup, boiled cider, and bitters garnished with an apple and served over ice. Just delicious. But classics like manhattans are also prepared with just as much care and the more inventive concoctions. Justin and the full crew at Homestyle bring a breath of fresh air to Ludlow. Last night my wife and I had the mussels in a stew-​like curry, the kale salad with pickled grapes, and the sea bass. All were phenomenal and the bass was particularly well cooked, tender, flavorful, and delicious. The sauces here are creative, but not overpowering and the true flavor of their meats and fish are allowed to shine through. Couldn’t recommend the place more.

LOVE this place! Delicious food and drinks, fun menu, great service… plus a super easy walk to sleep it off if you’re staying onsite. We’ve stayed in the Queen Style and Hotel Style rooms and the beds/​pillows in both were great. AC in VT during the summer is also a perk. I’ll be back for a root cup in the near future!

I absolutely LOVE Homestyle. It’s become my home away from home! Eliza and Justin are incredibly welcoming and Justin makes an epic cocktail. I have been coming here since they opened last year and every time I come back, it only gets better.
Now that there’s a restaurant, all the more reason to just ‘stay in’. The food is top quality, farm to table, family style goodness. They’re really doing things differently here but in the best way possible and I think it’s amazing to see these two running the show by themselves. The menu is simple to follow and Eliza is great at giving insight on the best dishes/​way to order for your group.
Keep it up guys! I’m not going to stop coming :) See you this weekend!

The hostel is awesome. We often go here for drinks and food and are never disappointed. Although the menu is small, the simple choices are amazing. I highly recommend any of the desserts. If you come in for trivia, hope that they are serving pretzels. They have a ton of games to play including CAH and jenga. Atmosphere is fantastic and Eliza and Justin are great hosts. Highly recommend! Brunch is out of this world and the bloodys are the best in town.

Went there to have dinner, after reading great reviews. The food was good, however the atmosphere left much tone desired. Did not expect to hear so many crying babies so there was literally impossible to enjoy your food or conversation. I am not sure if I would give it another try, just not my scene.

Killer beer selection sent me there and they have one of the most unique and appetizing menus in downtown Ludlow.

Beautiful rustic atmosphere, great staff and a great selection of craft beers and cocktails. I just happened in while strolling through town and I will definitely be back. If you’re in Ludlow be sure to stop.
