First time and last time we eat here. Decided to give Dickey’s a try and it wasn’t good. Expensive for the small portions you get, meats weren’t even warm they were on the cold side, baked potato was cold. We are just gonna stick with Bodacious BBQ.

So disappointing. Just left and will not return. This trip, i arrived at 11:55 am on a Saturday. There was one table of customers and one woman who had placed her order and was waiting. Two employees behind the counter working on her order. After 5 minutes passed and I wasn’t even addressed or acknowledged, I left. The previous time I came in was two months ago. That day, they were out of 5 sides and 2 meats. It was a little after 1 pm. Good BBQ, but HORRIFICALLY managed, to the point that the BBQ isn’t worth it.

Three strikes. Tried Dickey’s 3 times. Our take out orders were wrong every time. I understand that mistakes are sometimes made but these were standard orders with no special requests.

Been here a few times since it relocated. Each time there has been something that didn’t sit right with me. Once it was irregularly small portions, another time they were out of multiple menu items, and another time I waited in the line for 20 minutes. The manager just stood in the back while the only two workers were hustling trying to take orders, prepare the meal, make the food in the back, and the take payment. Very frustrating to watch.
Pros: ribs are good, more side choices than other BBQ joints nearby.
Cons: small portions — very expensive for the little bit of food you get.
Trays and floor feel like they’ve never been washed — thick greasy feel.

This place was a disaster. No toilet paper in the restrooms, no BBQ sauce out, napkins and trash all over the floor, dirty tables, and the kitchen appeared to be a mess. It was not busy but it took forever to get our food. We were trying to figure out who the manager was because it didn’t seem like anyone was in charge. My husband said if the owners walked in right now they would be livid. I cant say anything about the food because by the time it came out I was so disturbed by the filth I had lost my appetite.

They have relocated and are set up well for customer service. Nice management & community oriented.
