For the last leg of our family spring break I wanted to stop into Monroe, MI, to see the River Raisin National Battlefield Park, the only national battlefield that has been reclaimed and preserved in the United States from the War of 1812. We just needed a place for us to get 8 hours of quality sleep. After our Beaver Falls, PA, Super 8 experience two nights earlier, I was hesitant to try a Super 8 again. But I am glad we stopped in here. Price was perfect for 8 hours or so of sleep, $ 60 bucks with taxes. Hotel clerk was very friendly, lobby and hallways were clean, room smelled inviting and room was clean enough. Not perfect, but not as bad as some hotels that are big brands that charge a whole lot more per night. Beds were a little hard, and pillows and sheets were nothing to write home about, but this was a Super 8 and we were tired. We had a fine enough night’s sleep, had a simple but satisfying breakfast, and were on our way. We got what we paid for, and felt the place was a fine place to crash for the night. The price was definitely right. Would gladly stay here again should we come back through this way again.

If dirt cheap it what you want this is the place to stay! The dirt is free and room is cheap! There was a riding lawn mower inside the hotel on the first floor!
