This place has closed since my review.
The food here is authentic – from its Italian accented owners to the homemade pizza dough and sauce, it is a place to frequent if you enjoy Italian food. My friends and I enjoy dining here. The pizza here is awesome. One rule of thumb, if you don’t request a NY style pizza, they will make it with a thicker dough which is made to perfection. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. If you want a dinner type meal that isn’t listed on the menu, they will make it for you. For example, I ordered the eggplant rollatini and received a large portion with linguini and complimentary side salad with it. If you like crispy wings, get them here. We ordered a dozen and they were all medium to large sized wings. The chicken parmigiana hoagie is another favorite. The strombolis are huge and cooked perfectly. The décor and atmosphere is really nice and inviting, too. Prices are very reasonable.

We had lunch at Formaggi in Luzerne today. Everything was Excellent. My husband had the cheese & spinach calzone, my granddaughters had the butter & garlic wings and pizza. I had the eggplant Panini. The portion sizes are very generous, we had left overs for lunch tomorrow. The décor was neat & clean and we were greeted by the owner who’s lifetime dream was to open a restaurant, he arrived in America in 2000 from Italy. We will definitely go back.
