Waste of time and money. Took over an hour for them to get us our food, even after calling it in over a half an hour ahead of time. Burger was extremely disappointing. The onion ring on the burger was very poor quality, cheap frozen standard. Bun was soggy. Highly overpriced. Definitely do yourself a favor and go to Burger Shack in Lynbrook instead. Way better food, way better priced, fast and friendly service, no waiting around like idiots on our timed lunch breaks.

When we first started going here it was like an episode of keeping up the Kardashians, a train wreck disaster but it’s getting better. They now offer delivery and it’s pretty quick. The burgers are still small for my liking but you can always just order 2 but then it becomes pricey with fries. The fried chicken sandwich one time was so good I went back for another but then another time they fried the chicken too long and it sucked.

Ordered a meal for my family — three burgers(two classic and one Swiss) and two hot dogs. All were great. French fries and onion rings let me down. They looked and tasted over fried. Prices are a bit high but I get it. It’s expensive to run a business.

I would not recommend this place. This is my second time here, and now my last. Thought I would give it a second chance, but each time was the same. You wait a long time, the food is not good, the burgers are small, and the food is over priced. Chicken sandwiches are deep fried, so very greasy, as are the fries and onion rings. Burgers are not always cooked. My friend ordered a classic and made it a double; one burger was cooked through, the other was almost raw. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.

Came in here looking for a classic burger and no fuss. As a self proclaimed burger aficionado I demand nothing but the best for this bottomless pit I call my belly. This place delivered not only quality, juicy burgers but also perfectly crisped onion rings and tater tots to accompany. The place was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating when I asked to switch between sauces(hint: try the western BBQ burger with bandit sauce.) I can honestly say it could compete with In-n-Out. Will definitely be returning.

The name fits. Burger BANDITS. The $ 8 for a double burger that is the size of a McDonald’s burger which you can get for $ 1. Doesn’t even come with fries or a drink. Decided to try this place out with my mother. She got a lettuce wrapped veggie burger and that was a huge mess. Usually when places offer lettuce wrapped burgers, you can still eat it with your hands. She tried and it got everywhere so she had to use a fork and knife. I ordered a normal burger. The burger was okay. Not great but still not bad either. But for $ 22 for 2 burgers, one order of fries, one small soda, and a bottled water… It definitely wasn’t worth it. Maybe I’ll come back if it’s cheaper.

I went here two nights ago and the place was completely empty and it looked like they were closing. I asked two staff members if they were closing and they kind of just ignored me and either kept walking or just smiled, so me and my friend just decided to order lol. The floor design and menu are a lot like Shake Shack. Pricing included. You order all your items separately(no «meals» or «combos» like fast food chains) and get a remote buzzer to tell you when your order’s up. The prices are fair. I got a classic burger and fries $ 5.29 and $ 2.79 respectively. There’s only one size of fries to order and it is a LOT. Way more than enough for one person, almost as much as you get at Five Guy’s. The burger was alright. It was half juicy and half dry, if that’s possible. It was a good size and the bandit sauce on it helped. The garden on top was pretty crisp and nice. The bun was pretty buttery, and once I walked in the place all I smelled was butter lol. I’d probably eat here again.

I feel like I’ve been robbed. 5.79 for a Western BBQ burger, 6.79 for a Swiss Mushroom Burger, 2.99 Waffle Sweet Potato Fries, 2.99 Tater Tots and two 5.49 Flavor of the Month shakes and I am completely disappointed. The burgers were the size of a McDonalds McDouble and it was greasy yet dry on the inside with no flavor. In the words of Chef Ramsey, «IT’S BLAND!» I expected more for spending 6 – 7 dollars on one burger. The fries and tots tasted like they came out of a freezer. The shake was the only good part but it wasn’t great. I would spend the same amount at its direct competitor, SmashBurger, for better quality burgers. Let’s be honest, this is a semi-fast food/cook-to-order burger establishment. If you’re trying to compete with other establishments like Smashburger, Shake Shack, Five Guys and other semi-fast food/cook-to-order burger restaurants, make the food taste like it’s worth the price. Right now, the food taste like it is in expensive fast food territory if not worse.

I visited the spot last week and I left less than impressed. I ordered the waffle sweet potato fries which were just OK. I also ordered a shake which seemed all right at first but then seem to have an aftertaste. I also ordered the classic bandit burgers. They did taste a little burnt and the cooked onions on my burger look like black freeze dried onions. I think basically they over cook the onions and the burger. The patties were thin and misshapen. I really don’t know if I would give this place a second chance. It left me really disappointed. The restaurant however was very neat although empty. The staff seem to be relaxing when I arrive but someone quickly came to help me. They were very friendly and offered advice about what I was ordering.

So I’ve been here many times since they’ve opened and finally decided to write a review. The ingredients are so fresh and everything I’ve tried has been delicious. Must try the toasted marshmallow shake, it’s out of this world. Plus they’re always adding new items to the menu which is awesome! Just had their new chicken sandwich and tater tots and they’re great. Yummy, inexpensive fast food done right.

Very upset!!! I went there on a Friday night at 11 because the hours online and on the door say they are open until 12! I walked in and there were two employees closing down the store. I was like your hours say until 12. They said i know our owner hasn’t changed the sign. So cheap! Change your sign and Unilocal needs to change their hours! False advertisement of hours! Big no no!

Small burgers, had no onion rings or cheese to go on cheese fries when I went the second week they were opened. Burger was slider size but I was never told I would need more than 1 for myself. The best part of this place was the toasted marshmallow shake I got with my meal

came here on a Monday night, right next door to a puppy store so we had to go play with the puppies first… anyway the burger was yummy! it’s small but perfect for me. they have bigger ones if you want bigger, my husband and my father both liked theirs. the fries were amazing and mmm cheese sauce. loved the electronic drink thing… anyway not the best burger of my life but a good burger. I loved the sauce… of course people are gonna hate on this place because omg someone that knows the Kardashians omg, let’s just hate on it! anyway we liked it, and it was clean when we were in there, good music too. worth the little drive for us to Lynbrook. plus um puppies next door! go see them too! anyone who came here at first and didn’t like it, give them another try. personally that’s why we waited to come here, the beginning always sucks.

Burger Bandit. Fitting name because, I feel as if I have been robbed. This place is pretty much like an episode of the Kardashian’s…a train wreck. Burger Bandit advertisements began in the old Quizno’s vacancy. The signs were in the window promoting, for over a year, yet the place didn’t look like much prep was ever going on. Then the rumors around Lynbrook began… Burger Bandit was the brain child of Jonathan Cheban, renowned bestie of none other than, Kim Kardashian. Alright, this should be interesting. I was then kinda looking forward to the Grand Opening. After much fanfare, I heard the place finally opened after Jonathan’s ribbon cutting blew up the Lynbrook Herald. The first few days driving past, the place looked packed! I am always happy to see a bustling Lynbrook business. It is important for our town especially since the spot had been empty such a long time. This weekend my friends and I decided to try the place out. I must say, I was excited. I walked over since the place is a stones throw from my apt. As I arrived, people were coming in and out non-stop…cool! I met up with my friends and we went inside. The place is pretty cool looking. Fresh and clean. Dynamic layout of the actual restaurant, and it is modern. The menu is on a digital TV screen above the cashier. Nothing you can actually hold in your hands but, I guess it is 2015 and a fast food place. The menu is burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes. Nothing fancy. The sell a few varieties of beer and wine as well. My friends placed their orders ahead of me as I made my mind up. Our other friend arrived right behind me. I ordered the Classic Bandit Burger which offered a freshly made cheeseburger, pickles, lettuce, tomato, pickles and the special Bandit sauce! Everything is separate. No «value meals.» You must order sides/drinks if you want them. I chose the onion rings and as small drink. Beverages are unlimited. They have a cool digital drink machine which hosts a world of different flavors. I got the Diet Raspberry Coke. YUM! As you place your order, you are handed one of those annoying vibrating devices. They only remind me of waiting. Whatever I guess. My friends and I took a seat and started chatting. I was checking the place out, talking and realized my soda cup was empty. Already? Wow. I didn’t even think I was that thirsty. I got up and refilled my cup. I sat back down and realized it had been at least 20 minutes and my buzzer hadn’t gone off. Within seconds, my one friends thing went off and I figured, I was next. They came back to the table with their food and wow… that is it? THIS is what we waited for? An extremely tiny, shriveled BURNED cheeseburger, on a soggy bun. Beyond the cold burger and shriveled fries, this is what I had to look forward to? I began getting impatient as my two friends finished their food. Me and my other friend who was behind me, were still waiting to eat. Finally my buzzer went off and I went to the counter to collect my food. I was told«It’s not ready, were testing the buzzers.» WHAT? I sheepishly went back to my seat like beyond pissed.(Breathe in breathe out!) At this point I had lost track of the buzzer and my receipt and just went to the counter. My order was finally ready. I carried my meal back to the table. I opened the burger wrapping and was like«is this a slider?» I probably would have gotten a better burger at Micky Dee’s. The onion rings were more grease than breading, the burger was a joke. My friend is still waiting. She was right behind me! 35 mins gone…45 mins gone. 1 hour gone. No meal for her. She(8 months pregnant,) went up to the counter to inquire about her food. Eventually she came walking back with her dinner but, REALLY? There were four of us. Three of us had been done with our food, wiping our mouths for an hour. I am not one to complain or ask for a manager. ATALL! I was disgusted enough with the service that I did. I asked to speak to a manager and was passed on to someone in the kitchen. I expressed my disgust at the wait time and was told the reason her meal was delayed was because«the tickets were all messed up and the new customers were being served first.» Not an excuse in my book. I requested my friends money back and they did oblige. I am really disappointed in this place. It will not last more than 6 months under this management. Jonathan!!! Come and save this place and let my «NONO’s» turn into«NOMNOM’s.»

So I decided to come back… My first experience here left me with mixed feelings. The burgers were good, but the place was absolutely trashed, there were a lot of kids eating here and they were out of control. I drove by the other day and noticed that they weren’t as crowded. What a difference! The burgers were good just like they were the first time and this time the sweet potato waffle fries were cooked perfectly. The first time that I had them, they were soggy and too salty. The meat is seasoned nicely and the combination of the cheese, special sauce, pickle, onion, and tomato are just right. There was no need for ketchup. As I said in my first review, the cheap burgers will definitely attract the kids and the mess that they bring. If you get in here when they aren’t packed you just might be pleased with your meal. Keep in mind, these burgers are small so depending on your appetite 2 – 3 burgers may be needed to fill your tank.

EVERYBODYNEEDSTOTAKE A CHILLPILLANDSTOPWITHTHENEGATIVECOMMENTS. People need to understand, its unfair to compare Burger Bandit to a restaurant, pub or diner burger. Burger Bandit charges $ 2.79. a pub, diner or restaurant burger on average charge around $ 10. I would hope a pub burger is bigger than burger bandit. It would be just as foolish to try to compare Outback Steakhouse to a steak at Peter Lugers. My review on Burger Bandit is based on pure quality of burger for the low price they charge. Burger Bandit is in same category as Wendy’s, McDonalds, Checkers, In & Out Burger, Sonic, Dairy Queen. And Burger Bandit, yes on the small size BUT is better than the average fast food burger, hands down. Great sauce, great bread, great pickles, great taste of meat. and love the onions… Place is cool and burger is above average and for the price of $ 2.79 is a home run in the little town of Lynbrook USA. with that said, if your looking for a bigger burger, no problem there are tons in this area. just be prepared to pay a hell of a lot more.

Burger Bandit is a brand new Lynbrook burger place that is co-owned by Jonathan Cheban(Kim Kardashian’s friend). After many months of them posting a «coming soon» sign out front, they finally opened up with great anticipation. The vibe is very much that of a higher-end fast food place, think a nice Chipotle except cooking burgers and fries. The staff clearly was a bit overwhelmed by the opening day rush, but certainly understandable. One thing they do is yell your name when your food is ready, which seems like a system that may need to be adjusted to one that is more reliable at some point. That said, I have given my first trip to Burger Bandit a solid 4 stars, but there is certainly some room for improvement. PROS: The relatively simple and short menu was very manageable and I personally enjoyed the lack of personalization that was offered. Here’s our burgers and menu, take it or leave it, how refreshing! The burgers themselves were very good, though quite small(double up!). Perhaps my favorite part of the whole meal was the digital Coke fountain machine, which provides the opportunity to get one(or multiple if you’re into that) flavors that Coke makes at the push of a button! CONS: The price is a bit high given the size of the burgers, especially when you«double up». The other options on the menu are actually a better deal, but all that said, we still only spent $ 21 for 2 small burgers, 1 hot dog, 1 fry, 1 onion rings and a small fountain drink, so not bad. My only real issue of the meal was the amount of salt on the fries, that needs to be reeled in quite a bit because the actual fries were quite good when you got some that were not caked in salt. Overall, this was opening night and I am sure things will improve, but Burger Bandit was still very good and the ingredients such as the meat and the buns stood out given their much higher quality than you get at the typical fast-food burger places.
