Great place for burgers! Had the 97 burger and it did not disappoint! The Disco fries are amazing — the fries are cooked perfectly — crispy, well done fries topped with a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and tasty brown gravy on the side for dipping. The Nutella shake is a MUST have! The guys at the counter answered all our questioned and held off making the shakes till we were ready for them! The place is small and we waited for a table (maybe 10 — 15 mins but it was soon worth the wait!!!

The best burger and chocolate milkshake I’ve ever had, we got the Russian burger, the don burger, waffle disco fries, and chili cheese fries. Super cheap and the portions are huge!

Been here a few times now… This place has continued to get better and better. Great little place! Relaxed, lots of choices in burgers. The homemade fries are delicious and the food is always fresh. Would lkke to see more flavor options in shakes, but overall very good.

Outstanding burgers… great grilled cheese… great sides. BEST burger joint around and I’ve had most of them. The burger is a nice portion, rolls are fresh and doughy and the shakes are FABULOUS.
If you have a burger craving… it’s the place to go.

Great little spot! The turkey burgers are all so well seasoned and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
I love that you can have burgers any way you like them — on a salad; on a wheat bun; on a wrap. The owner is awesome and he’s hot too! He’s single ladies!!!

I went to visit my parents today because they still live in lynbrook. I was in the mood for a burger and fries. So my dad mentioned that a burger place opened up about 2 years old just around a block across the street from the Post Office. To my pleasant surprise it was just what I was looking for. The place is tiny but only when its busy LOL Anyways everything we got was delicious and well priced. The staff was friendly and the one guy behind the counter was very handsome but a bit too young for me hehehe. You can tell everything is freshly made and the fries are HOMEMADE (not frozen). To top your experience off, get the Nutella shake for dessert!!! Definitely will be back when I’m in the area

Burgers are good only had the summer and regular burger. They also give you a good amount of food with the onion rings fries and all the other extras. I frequent this place when I’m in the mood for a good grease fix !

I went here after visiting the post office across the street. I was pleasantly surprised to come here with my family for lunch, after asking the postal worker if she would recommend for us to eat here. The food was extremely good. I ordered the 97 burgers which is a 4oz patty with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It comes with their homemade Russian dressing which tastes soooo similar to a Big Mac. Their waffle fries and onions rings came out hot and fresh. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area. The staff members are pleasant and the food came out pretty quickly. Two thumbs up!

Really cool little place here in Lynbrook. Awesome décor and atmosphere, a fun place to get a burger, waffle fries, or anything else they have on the big board. 2 large TV’s, and music always playing. Small space, but enough room to bring a group. Good prices.

Pros: burger tasted great, fries were exceptional, as was the shake good service, clean kitchen, free wifi, hotdog, root beer.
Needs improvement: milk shake straws collapse when suckled, need blue cheese crumbles option on burgers, and they were out of frickles.
We will be back food was excellent.
Great place for children.

Good food and cheap. Most of the items are fried, so hard to get that wrong. I got the chicken burger and it was delicious (it’s a ground-​chicken patty and not a grilled breast). It was my first time, so I didn’t know about their awesome toppings (some spicy ranch would have made my burger even better).
I will be back for sure, keep the good food coming… Waffle Fries with gravy… WoW.

Just got a burger from there– the Sunrise. It was pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the brioche bun– it was too big (too much bread) but overall the burger was good. I really liked the spice of the sauce. Waffle fries and sweet potato fries were very good as well. Would definitely go back to try the other burgers.

I don’t know what some of these other Unilocalers are talking about but this place is awesome, if your not happy with it just stick to McDonald’s and that Burger King garbage. Or go to five guys and get ripped off.

There are many places doing burgers now a days, but few seem to get it right. Burger Shack does it perfect, without breaking the bank to boot! Creative combinations, tasted great, hot, fresh. Excellent customer service to top it off. Liked the atmosphere inside, will definitely stop back when I’m in the area.

Don’t know what these other reviews are about but burger shack is sooooo good. If you are debating on going to burger bandit down the block or here, choose here! Been here a couple times and have never been disappointed. Burgers are excellent. Sweet potato fries are made perfectly and they give you a big portion for $ 2.50. Nutella shake is awesome! Must try! Burger shack doesn’t get enough credit or exposure!

Yuck, not even worth a stop. If you really need a bad burger, check out McDonalds just a few blocks away.
I had the Don Burger (cheddar bacon, onion rings, bbq and ranch sauce). The patty was so tiny and it was masked by the massive amounts of sauce. The burger was drowning. The bun was obviously frozen and then thawed out.
I also had the disco fries (topped with mozarella and a size of gravy) and the «skinny» fries (waffles fries with bacon, cheddar cheese, and a side of ranch). The disco fries had no flavor whatsoever. The skinny fries tasted like the cheese had been melted ours ago, left out, and reheated when ordered. Terrible.
