KFC

I normally don’t write many reviews, but I had to in this case. I pulled up to the drive thru, the sign was clearly lit saying «Drive Thru Open». It was about 9:45 pm. However, when I got to the microphone to place order I was RUDELY told «We’re closed.» When I mentioned that the sign said open, again I was rudely cut off. I Will not be going to this KFC again.

Ima be all up in my feelings with this review. Maybe it’s the moon.
Don’t come for me (when I didn’t send for you) for MY opinion on a business. Let’s get this clear, this is still MY review. Subjective and all.
Kentucky Fried Chicken ain’t no 5 star joint this we know, but the rating I’M giving this branch is 5 stars. Go tell yuh mama that.
I like this Kentucky Fried Chicken branch very much. It’s the first I’ve been to in years so maybe they’ve all improved.
I haven’t eaten here but I perused the space **grins**
The eating area is clean. The washroom is clean. The staff is always polite and quick with my order. I always get extra. What’s not to like?

Having read the review from Bani D. from last month (August) I have to laugh. Not in a «oh, that’s so funny» way but in a «wow, how ironic» kind of way. I just drove through this KFC about an hour ago. The receipt clearly shows 7:45 p.m. on 9÷18÷15. When I looked at the website it shows opens at 10:30 a.m. and closes at 12:00 p.m. Ummm… I think someone was sleeping in kindergarten school the day they taught how to tell time. If that listing is correct then they are open for business a grand total of 1.5 hours a day. It gives the custom of siesta a whole new meaning. No wonder they didn’t open the door for Bani D. They had already been closed almost eleven hours and Bani was disturbing their pin-​the-​tail-​on-​the-​donkey game. I just hope the «donkey» in this case was the «jackass» who failed first grade.
On a positive note, I drive through often, usually before 9:00 p.m. and it goes pretty smooth. Usually very friendly and usually they laugh at my jokes. One time the girl got several things wrong with they order and made up for it by correctly giving me the pieces of chicken I asked for and without asking for money. In business, that would be considered the right thing to do.
I always find the chicken moist (thighs), hot and crispy. I love the additional of the lemonade to their menu and where else on earth can you drive through and come out the other side with an entire chocolate cake for $ 5.00. And it is delicious as well. I just bought 2 of the cakes and 2 quarts of the lemonade for my co-​workers as a handful of us volunteered to work overtime tomorrow, which is a Saturday (10 hours). I think they deserve a little something sweet to get through the day.

Just went there today andf their store hours posted on the website n the door was 12am. I arrived at the place at kfc at 1055pm. and there were 2 male employees still working there and they refused to take my order and said they were closed. you should remove the open till late sign and change your hours. Please do not go to this kfc location because when they are open the food takes forever to come out

This is the 2^nd visit to this KFC in a short period of time and the crispy chicken skin is pretty consistent. It is not crispy and chicken is dry. $ 34.73 for a chicken bucket is not cheap. It is obvious that this chicken is not fresh. When fried skin is rubbery and does not break, then it has been sitting around too long and then re heated for a purchase. I did write a review on the KFC website but nobody ever responded to me. Maybe they don’t care. I think people in the are are so used to low quality food from local restaurants that nobody thinks twice anymore.

Well I’m glad to say that service has improved significantly. I was greeted with a smile and my food came in a reasonable amount of time.
Stars are building, let’s see if they can keep it up.
