Tacos are very good, had Asada, Barbacoa and Al Pastor. Guacamole was good but could use a bit more salt. Overall I’d recommend this place to friends and family, definitely going back for some more tacos.

The tacos are delicious, But the service can get better. She should smile more and have manners. I came in during the night. If they tip you for just taking down your order and a take out you should at least say Thank you have a good night.

I Love Tacos. Legitimate, authentic, Mexican, cilantro laden, tacos. Not some horrific, «Americanized» taco, drowning in cheese, but the real deal. One of the most upsetting things about moving to the suburbs(trust me, there were many) was moving away from my favorite Mexican restaurants in the city. Oh sure, Pilsen is a quick jaunt up I-55, but some nights I don’t feel like commuting for a delicious Taco. Now that I have discovered Pico’s Tacos, I don’t have to! Yes, dear readers, I found them on Unilocal! The weather was terrible, snowy and slushy, and we just didn’t feel like dealing with traffic. So I turned to Unilocal and set our sights on Pico’s. First off, they are BYOB. I always love that, as it keeps the final tab down. They are located right on Ogden with their own parking lot, so it’s super convenient. That whole strip of Ogden in Lyons looks a bit sketch, but don’t let that deter you. It’s really tidy inside, and the employees are friendly and attentive. You are given complimentary chips and salsa, and like other reviewers have said, they were all fantastic! Really fresh tasting with great variations in flavors among them. On to the tacos… I had one bistec(steak), one barbacoa(barbecue), and one cesina(dried steak). All three were fantastic and I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite at this point. I believe I need to do more research at a later date. My date had one steak, one pollo(chicken), and one pastor(pork). His favorite was the pastor, but he really enjoyed them all. After we finished our tacos, we sat digesting and sipping our BYOB Tecate. Nobody rushed us, in fact the waitress was gracious and pleasant. All in all, a fantastic impromptu dining experience, and a place I am happy to give five stars!!!

Just moved to the area and decided to give this place a try. Their food is amazing! Authentic mexican food with great quality. Chicken tacos are delicious. Love their salsa and Pico de gallo. We keep going back for more!

The food was great. Music is playing in the background but not loud enough where you can’t hold a conversation. Lively restaurant, friendly staff, great atmosphere.

When it opened, it was really good. Know their food has downsized. When you order a dinner plate, the servings are a lot smaller now. The torta got smaller too and with minimal meat.

I passed by this restaurant everyday on my way to work for months and finally decided to go have lunch there and I don’t regret it. It’s excellent and very clean, great service.

Best al pastor in like, a three-mile radius. I’m serious. Stop trying other places. Learn from my mistakes. I keep going elsewhere just to see, and each time I wish I had gone to Pico’s. The cecina is also great. The restaurant itself it’s pretty normal: small, clean, bright, with telenovelas.

Love this place for my Mexican fixings! :) The steak tacos are delicious(not greasy). They kinda skimp out on the rice with my dinner, though. Chips are on the house when you dine in and they give you three different kinds of salsa. The green one(don’t know what it’s called– it’s not salsa verde) is great!

Can’t resist occasionally driving a little out of the way in the morning on the weekends for this place. One of my favorite plates of chilaquiles in the area, and reasonably priced. Fresh tasting, very tasty. Will have to branch out for their carne en su jugo and other items someday. Recommended.

Came in and ordered for carry-out, I ordered a burrito de al pastor. While the meat was pretty good, the burrito was overall pretty greasy and not something that is easily memorable. The burrito was a bit overpriced, and while there may not be better options within walking distance, Ogden ave does have some much better options.

Love«dive» Mexican joints. I ordered enchilada suiza salsa verde and it was very good. Nothing special about the place but the important thing is that it was very good food. I’d definitely go back and recommend it.

We had take out here for the first the other day. Steak tacos might have been the best tacos I’ve ever had. I also tried a steak burrito, I thought it was pretty good but not great.

Id like to think that I’m somewhat of a burrito connoisseur of sorts so based on the good reviews, I went there on my lunch for a pastor burrito. It was awesome! Good quality of meat. Not greasy. Other than the awesome food, the staff was very nice and helpful. Cooks seemed nice and smiled at the customers. Décor was just fine and fitting for a neighborhood Mexican joint and there were quite a few people in there at the lunchtime hour. I’ll definitely be back.

There are many different mexican restaurants in this area. Most are just mediocre and boring so we were really excited to come across this spot. My absolute favorite thing from here is the Carne en su jugo. I have to have this at least once a week. Tacos and fajitas are really good as well. Food is always fresh and authentic. One thing I must mention is that we do wait a little while for our food every time we come, but it is worth the wait.

Traditional Mexican-American take-out /dine-in food. The food is good and service is pleasant. When you are seated at a table they give you warm tortilla chips and a variety of salsas. The salsas differ from time to time. They have a couple«house» specials on the menu, including the Pico’s breakfast which I recommend. It is a think flank steak served with two eggs(scrambled or however you want them) covered in a somewhat spicy red sauce and a side of rice. Tastes delicious. I also recommend the chicken fajitas or the diablo shrimp(really spicy). Everything is reasonably priced and service is usually quick.

We go to Pico’s often both for take out and dine in. Clean, pleasant, good food. We like their burritos(steak and al pastor) and their quesadillas. Reasonably priced.
