One star is being nice with what I experienced tonight. Me and my family come here close to every weekend. We always have the waitress Holly (which is amazing, I recommend her). But Holly was not there so we had Melissa. It’s a Tuesday night so it wasn’t very busy. Melissa didn’t come to our table at all, we were sitting in the pool area where we always sit. But not a problem. Then she told us to go up to the bar and order our food, so my brother ordered the food and my father was next to him. We ordered Chicken club (like a steak philly), nachos for the side, then two loaded fries, w ranch. And our whole order was wrong. And when we told Melissa she was extremely rude. «No you only ordered one loaded fry, and you didn’t ask for nachos.» I was being extremely kind and understanding. But my brother and father both know exactly what was said, we went over exactly what was said, her attitude was way to extreme. So she brought over the cheese to dip my chips in and I asked for her name and she got right in my face then said «Melissa, I’m the manager» and walked away. I said ok thank you. Then my father got a beer from the bar, it’s his birthday, we’re just trying to have a good night. But when he got his drink, it was extremely dirty. And Melissa continued to raise her voice which you could here across the bar that «it’s ice frozen to the bottom of the glass». And to add onto it, I have asked for a Coke twice now, and she is refusing to bring it over. So we eventually got our «loaded fries», (chives, bacon, green olives, cheese, which comes w sour cream, or ranch. None of that was with our «loaded fries») and looking at the fries, is only melted cheese, and it’s burnt and disgusting. Once again, we Go to Cronies every weekend and play pool and drink/​eat. But this made is not want to come what so ever. So your manager made a very good impression on your bar.

Well it won’t let me give 0 stars so here goes my review went there a few months ago during a Bears game commented on how bad the bears were playing to my wife and was over heard by one of the regulars they basically told me to get out of i was going to take bad about the bears this is after i was sitting at the bar 5 minutes and i actually called the bar to get the bartenders attention and asked if we could maybe get a drink the service sucks the food i don’t know about we finished our drinks and left and as we were leaving one of the people at the bar joked about how there goes another fucking idiot… rude obnoxious and wouldn’t step in this place if out had the last ounce of Jack Daniels on the world

Went here with a friend for drinks and dinner! It’s close to home and I had heard the wings were good. What a disappointment! It took us forever just to be served a drink. The food was disgusting. The Waitress acted like she had better things to do. Unless you sit up at the bar they won’t give you the time of day! We had to find our waitress just to get our ticket to pay. Horrible Horrible Horrible! Will never recommend this place. If I could rate it with no stars I would’ve.

SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED!!! Premium price for very crappy food. Waitress sucked. Service sucked. Seemed like a foot and a half of cigarette butts around the entire building. LOVED watching the (assumed) dope deal go down in the parking lot. Wish Unilocal had –stars… They would have rated a –4 star!

Bar food is nothing to write home about but this ace is worth finding your way into despite the difficult side road that needs to be taken. The bartender working the night I went she was great and the place is a nice remote sports bar with bar food in Manchesney Park. There is a pool the and plenty of tales along with a big bar and remote stand alone bars like this I really dig. There are not even any nearby business neighbors for tis p, ace so whatever occurs in Cronies stays in Cronies. Pretty much what a rural busy road pub should be like. People ritual about this place should realize this is the Rockford area and this is a bar more than fine dining.

I have come here a couple times. Horrible service and mediocre food. Waited almost two hours for our food only to be cold and under cooked. Will not come again. I recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.

The Boneless Wings are incredible. Tons of flavors. The Flatbread Burgers are also incredible. Service is good.

There has never been a place where I have felt hesitant about even drinking out of the glasses. I mean, this place is seriously disgusting. The fries weren’t edible because they were so soggy, the salad was brown… I mean there are no words to describe my disgust with this place. I’ve never felt the need to write a review or complain about a restaurant or bar or anywhere before, but do NOT waste your time or money here. Even the service was terrible.

Its pretty bad when A bar has to charge you a $ 1.00 no beverage charge. I ordered the all you can eat wings with a few of my buddies. The bartender was busy dancing with A customer and she got a bad attitude when we asked for more wings. She told me we normally stop having all you can eat wings at this time of night. I asked her why did she take the order and let us order it? The wings werent bad at all but with service like this and A $ 1.00 no beverage charge theres better places to go visit.

don’t go here worse place ever !!! please don’t make the mistake we did and bring family members in thinking were going to get some good wings. very loud and vulgar drunks and the wait staff is just as bad. we didn’t even finish our meal the vulgar drunks making vulgar comments to other customers walking by was enough for us. must have been for everyone else to because the whole dining area cleared out in no time. most places kick these kind of loud mouth drunks out, not here they lead him on and enjoy the rude nasty comments he makes i hope this place gets shut down for good, this place needs negitive stars stay away from here !

I don’t think it even deserves a star. First off we arrived at 6:30 for a family birthday dinner, there were maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. The place was not busy at all. It took the staff about 10 min just to seat us, another 10 min to come bring us menus and then they only had 2 menus for a party of 6. The waitress took our drink order and then it took another 10 to 15 min to get our drinks, by then we were ready to order our food, the waitress had to go get her pad to take our order, we ordered our food and an hour later our food finally arrives and during this time the place is not busy at all. When our food arrives that is a whole other problem, 3 of the people in our party get there food first and it is cold to piss warm, i ordered the boneless wings, which is just chicken breast cut up, and i ordered the jalapeño cheese which the waitress said was spicy, it was not spicy at all and half if the wings were some kind of cheese and the other half was something with garlic, I honestly am not sure what they were. The fries were so cold they were soggy. After the 3 people in our party got there food it took another 15 min for 2 more people in our party to get there burgers, which was also cold, then 10 min later the last person in our party finally got half of the food they ordered and 5 min after that they recieved the rest of their food, luckily the last person food was the hottest. I will not ever come back no need to give them a second chance like i try to do.

Worst service ever. Went to the all-​you-​can-​eat wing night. Waited over an hour for 7 wings. It was clear that we were not worth our waitresses time. She blamed it on the cook. Which wasn’t the truth. She brought us the wrong beers and also stated there’s just too many beers to remember.
Asked for water, she didn’t come back for
30 minutes.
On a side note, the waitress looked like a garage sale kid that just rolled outta bed. Smh. Unprofessional and disappointing.
The food??? Wings, ok. Fries, the worst!

Wings made me and a friend very sick. They were ok with the sauce on the outside but the chicken meat inside smelled and tasted just a tad rotten. We asked the server who said the date on the batch was not expired. The damage was done. We had both eaten one wing before agreeing we were served rotten food.
I’d never never ever consider visiting cronies again.

It had nice décor and a very friendly feel to it as I went in and sat down.
IT was rather slow that evening (very few patrons) and the service took way too long for my liking. The food was all right.
I liked the tacos and another member of my party liked the ribs. The chicken tenders and the sauce on the fries didn’t really go over too well.
I’d be willing to go back and give it another try. It was all reasonably priced

Well, this bar advertises alot and we thought we would give it a try after going to the Rockford Speedway. When we walked in the sign says Wait to be Seated. Well we waited and waited and finally just sat ourselves. Then about 10 minutes later we finally got a server who acted more like it was a bother to take our order! Her name was Shelly. She looked like she rolled out of bed and hated her job. We ordered a burger and a few wings. It was nothing more than just food. I was not Wowed by this place. My finace and I thought we would order a few Corona’s we got those from Shelly, but she didnt bring the limes to go with it. But than again after serving our food with a dirty splint on her left hand she probably wouldnt have worn a glove to protect us from germs!!! We will never go back! This place needs a serious case of Bar Rescue!!! The sign outside is the best part along with the patio! We had to walk through all the smokers outside to get in the door.
No wonder the place was empty. I wouldnt ever go back and the swearing at the bar was appauling, you had families in there eating! The decore is much to be desired. You could not tell if it was an old resturant or a bar that looked out of date and the young girls that worked there all looked like they rolled right out of the bed, NO CLASS!!!

I came here with my boyfriend for drinks after dinner (it’s one of his usual hangout spots).
Service was great, the bar was clean and the bartender provided great service. We went on a Wednesday night, so it was pretty empty.
There’s a pool table, TVs, slot machines, the usual bar set up.
The selection of drinks they have is awesome. I can’t speak for the food since we didn’t eat here, although my boyfriend wants to come back and try the all-​you-​can-​eat chicken wings.
I would come back again, if nothing else, just for a drink or two before heading elsewhere.

This place should be shut down. The kitchen is a mess and stinks, they dont clean up after there shifts, the popcorn has been in there for days at a time (in machine)

Still love coming here. They added the boneless «wings» to the All You Can Eat Menu. Waitstaff is friendly (being there alot helps out on that…) and they have Amp which is a good plus for me.
Be careful though it gets BUSY on the weekends and its a madhouse turned upside.

Not even worth one star. The only reason we came here was because of a groupon. Took two hours to bring our food. No burgers?! The chef didn’t prepare meat because the boss was gone today. They were out of limes. No taco bar which was their «special». Ordered a French dip and got a cut up steak thrown on some bread. Bugs all over the window sill. Stale cold air blowing on us the whole time. The bill was outrageous after all of their mistakes. Waitress just said «I don’t make the prices.» Complete waste of my life and money. Will never go there again.

I kinda like this place — it has a «just the clean side of a dive bar» feel about it, a pool table, a wrap around bar and booth-​like tables. Our primary reason for hitting Cronies was for the chicken wings, which it has to be said were really, really good. They have something like 20 different seasoning/​flavours to choose from and you can buy platters in various sizes and combinations leading up to unlimited/​eat as much as you can. Whilst our waitress had that look on her face that said «can’t you tell how busy and important I am, why are you asking *me* for more beer?» I got the impression that all the other staff were really friendly. The chucklesome owner dropped by our table a couple of times to check everything was fine and tell us a few tales and even gave us a free round of drinks.
On the downside the beer selection was essentially every variety of Bud and Miller ever made, which is not my kinda tipple. They do have Guinness on tap which was a saving grace. The music was pretty awful generic pop and… they have karaōke… on more than one night.
I would definitely come back for the wings, but without a more interesting beer selection they don’t quite make 4 stars or some place I would look to make a regular.
