There is a reason why I don’t make a point to go to chain restaurants. I was in town overnight. It was late and other restaurants nearby had closed and I just wanted something small. There was no wait and the atmosphere was as you would expect and the place was relatively clean. Server was pleasant enough. I ordered two appetizers — the cheeseburger egg rolls and the boneless bbq wings. I guess you could ask me «what do you expect»? The egg rolls were a gooey, congealed mess that had the consistency of wallpaper paste. The wings were tasty except that they were swimming in sauce and a huge plate of mess.

Recently had lunch at the Riverside Dr location and boy was I impressed.
I had to find out what was going on and why this eatery has suddenly become my go to place to eat. Excellent service, great lunch menu and
under what I have learned a new and highly dedicated management. Thank you Applebee’s for changing things from the top down.

Terrible, I sat at a booth near the hotel facing the swimming pool. I kept wondering where water was coming from. One of the ladies at my table noticed water dripping from the roof. Ok, I thought to myself just as long as it’s not dripping on me I’m fine. I kept noticing water on my side of the table. What do you know, water was dripping right in front of me on the table. I mentioned it to the waitress. Her words, oh yeah we know it’s dripping. Why on earth would you sit someone at a table with these conditions?! The food and drinks were bland. What a waste of money. Glad I’m moving back home to the city soon. SMH… To be right off the interstate is terrible. If you’re not from Macon, please save yourself and money and experience the ROOKERY in downtown Macon.

Our waiter brought out our apps and main course at the same time and not only that my drink was wasted on the table while the food was place on the table. The drink was only made worse when the attempt was made to clean it up with a wet towel only for my replacement drink to be forgotten

Not the place to order a long island ice tea. It taste and look like lemonade. The service was not good. 3 different server was at our table. I very disappointing Friday night!

This is the worst managed restaurant I think I’ve been to.
15 minutes of sitting there before we even had someone greet us. 10 more minutes to get drinks brought out and they didn’t bring us all the drinks we ordered. 2 tables got up and left while we were there.
There were wait staff on their phones texting while customers were walking out and customers were walking in. It was like watching a bad episode of candid camera.

We eat here a couple times a month or so. We like the happy hour specials. The menu is decent, good burgers and ribs. Some servers are stellar and some not so much. Food pretty reliable and pricing reasonable. VERY cleaan. Management needs more … something. It has a feel of average management.

Manager condescending and rude. We had a large party and one person ordered a mixed drink that didn’t get delivered. We were told another server took it but they don’t comp alcohol so no adjustment to the bill for the inconvenience, just a really bad attitude from the manager. On the plus side our waiter was awesome and the food was decent.

Worst Applebee’s experience EVER! First we were told that this was owned by a different company so their Happy Hour is not like other restaurants.
Very unorganized restaurant. We ordered the appetizer trio and drinks. Our drinks came out fast, but our order too 40 minutes, and then the wontons that we have ordered at other Apolebees were not even close to what we are used to.
The restaurant was very slow, and I watched numerous servers just hanging out and talking to what I would guess are off the clock workers.
I would tell anyone to skip this place.

It was a horrible experience overall. Our server, Steven, could not have cared less about whether we were even getting our food, let alone filling our drinks. When we eventually did get our food, it was cold and was not prepared correctly. I eat at an Applebee’s in north Georgia weekly, and when I ordered the exact same food as I normally do, but it tasted bland and overcooked. All in all, this is the worst ever Applebee’s that I’ve been to in my entire life. If you’re passing through Macon, don’t go to this Applebee’s. Go to the one on 675 or just find somewhere else to go an exit up the road.

Sub par service, Candice didn’t even bring us silverware. Used to frequent here often and a lot has changed. I won’t be visiting this location again. I ordered the chicken fajita roll up and it was hard and stale like. Only thing decent was kiwi lemonade. The rest blah blah blah

Well its an applebees. Standard issue. I like this one in particular. The server did a good job and the food came out at a decent time. The bathroom is clean. I think it was recently refurbished so maybe thats why i like it. But who doesnt like burbon st. steak and a blondie.

My wife, 2yr old daughter and in-laws went here today. The servers were helpful with our needs, moving a table so our stroller would fit up to the table and when the new server didn’t know if the raspberry lemonade had artificial sweeteners she found someone that did know. The cleanliness was above average, and the food did taste good. I did have to ask a few times for dressing and it took longer then normal to bring the food out. About 30 min. I think I might knock that up to a new server that just doesn’t have the flow down yet. I would try again if I’m in the area.
