Comfort Suites

We stayed here a few weeks ago on our way to Florida and on the way home. We love this location! When we travel we always try to stay in comfort suites. We are a family of 5 so we always get a room with 2 beds. The rooms are very spacious and are big enough for all of us with the pull out couch we were able to put the twins in the bed and our oldest on the pull out. This location is very clean! The beds are very comfortable!!! The pool is open pretty late so we were able to swim after dinner. The only issue was that we found a dead cocroach in the room. But we never saw anything else so we were didn’t make it a big deal. We will be returning when we are in the area!!!

I stopped here from driving 9 hours all day. I chose CS because I’ve always had a pleasant stay with them. I was not let down again. There were barber shop quartets in the lobby singing (maybe a conference?) and all I wanted was a peaceful night of sleep. I explained this to the front desk clerk (You are awesome, Jeremy!) and he gave me a great room — quiet, clean and comfortable. Lots of fast food, sit-​down restaurants and other places to shop while you visit. If I ever find myself in Macon, Ga again, I will definitely stay here.

I chose this place based on some very positive reviews online. It’s one of the more expensive in the area and I figured I would get what I paid for. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped with sofa and a desk. That’s about our it for the praise. Breakfast is average at best and what really galled me was the stop time of 9 AM. I’ve never stayed anywhere with such and early end to breakfast, especially on the weekend! I are something at 8:40 then wanted to grab one last hard boiled egg at literally 9:02. Nothing doing. The attendant apologized and explained the owner locked the cabinet at 9, them shrugged and gave me a look like there was nothing she could do. Then I saw the owner walking around and understood why, she’s off a heritage known for frugality. Let’s leave it at that. So, this is a four star building minus a star for price, another for the cheap owner and another for the incredibly slow and useless internet. Look elsewhere.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Lots of space. Plenty of wall plugs. Very up to date. Within walking distance to fast food and a very short drive to other restaurants. Best part was a got to use my reward nights.

I have never looked so forward to leaving a hotel. We arrived at 7:00 pm and half of the lights had already been turned off in the lobby so it set off a very unwelcoming atmosphere. My two young children and I headed to the pool which was full of teenagers running and jumping in the pool. I told the person on staff who didn’t get off a personal phone call and told them once to quit which of course did not stop them. My children and I quickly returned to our room to find a dirty washcloth in the bathroom as well as a bug on the floor to make matters worse the survey card from the previous guest complaining that the room hadn’t been cleaned was still on our desk. We are here only 12 hours and can’t wait to leave, I will never stay here again. Oh and the next morning hey turned out keys off by 8:00 am so when we came back from breakfast we had to have our keys turned back on.

The hotel looks fairly new. It is close to I-​475. We were traveling with 4 adults and 1 child so we needed to get the suite with sofabed. Room was clean with flat screen tv and nice beds. Wifi was working well.
