This was awful, trust me it looked like they just placed the meat on the pizza after they baked it, not worth it at all, and just added hamburger meat, it actually looked like the pizza they used to serve in high school

When it comes to pizza, this place is a hit or miss type of deal. On days where I only want a slice, they give me some damn good pizza. Then when I get hooked and order a pie, the pie is crappy and sometimes a little burnt. I’ve also tried the baked ziti which comes with a salad. The salad is nothing special. Just your basic garden salad with a commercial dressing of your choice. There is also garlic bread with your ziti. It’s decent and that’s it. Nothing special. This place could easily get five stars on their pizza alone if you could get a whole pie that taste as good as their individual slices.

I came here a long time ago, Hates the pizza, I came back in January, worst pizza I’ve had in my life.

Food is consistently poor quality even when the owner is present. They repainted(splattered) it to look like a low class skating rink. The décor looks like cheap posters from a kids room. The atmosphere is loud and obnoxious at times. All of this is acceptable for a nine dollar pizza, not a nineteen dollar pizza.

Yummy pizza and garlic knots and baked feta with marinara! Also tried the chicken bacon ranch wrap which was full of chicken! Good sized portions for the price.

If you are traveling and are tired of fast food junk, give this place a try. Nicest waiter; I think his name was Brian. Good garlic knots, pizza was large with quality toppings. Only complaint is that they use salad dressing in prepackaged containers. Convenient location right off highway. TVs. Nice atmosphere but not too fancy. Happy we stopped.

Great food and the staff is really, really nice. The server gave our son some dough to play with and he was entertained until the food was ready. Wish we lived closer, but it’ll be at the top of our list of places to stop on trips to/from Atlanta. Also, a great place to watch the game. Check out the throwback Galaga/Mrs. Pacman game in back.

The pizzas are divine and the garlic knots are super fun. The marinara is a little chunky with tomatoes, which I like. Service has consistently been relatively poor(I’m racking my brain to think of a pizza place where I actually got good service… perhaps it’s just par for the course!?), but I like the Johnny’s Deluxe Pizza so much I’m willing to brave it.

For all I know, the pizza and sandwiches are OK. I wouldn’t know, because we came in at 8:45 p.m. and were told«I’m sorry, but we’re closing in 10 minutes.» Translation: Get up and get out of here, because we don’t want to actually serve customers until closing time. First of all, the website says they’re open until 9:30. Second, the door said they’re open until 10. Our non-server told us the door was wrong and they really close at 9. Third, 8:45 isn’t 9:00. If you send customers away at 8:45, your closing time is 8:45. These people seem to believe«closing time» means the time they finish all their side work and walk to their cars. Not the same thing, people. When you post a closing time — or in your case, three different ones — that time is supposed to refer to the hours during which I can walk in and expect service. I could ALMOST understand if we were sneaking in the door two minutes before their supposed closing time of 9 p.m. But even if you take their word for this invented-on-the-spot closing time, we were a full quarter hour earlier than that. On the list of ignorant customer service mistakes, chasing customers away despite a neon«Open» sign has to be number one. Ignorant, ignorant, ignorant. Come to think of it, I’m glad these people didn’t have a chance to prepare my food. Who knows what they’re capable of doing to a Calzone if they can’t even master telling time?

Garlic knots are awesome and the mediterranean salad is a meal. I like to take a pizza pan and put it on top of the salad and flip it over so that all the good stuff is on the bottom like a treasure hunt.

Some of the best pizza around. It’s definitely my favorite pizza in Macon. Excellent red sauce, I ask for heavy sauce on my slices and eat it with a fork. Awesome. They also offer crust-less slices which is great if you’re on the Atkins diet and crave pizza.

While visiting my sister in Macon, she took me to Johnny’s. I am so glad she did! I legit had a foodgasm when I devoured the meat lovers calzone(pepp, sausage, etc).! It was the B.E.S.T. calzone I have ever had in my entire life. Please try it. You will thank me later, I guarantee it.

The pizza is a little greasy go my tastes, but their sandwiches and wraps are great.

Not amazing or unique but very good and price is right. Stromboli, calzones, subs always well cooked and tasty. Garlic knot app will send you to the gym after.

Our family’s favorite spot to eat just before the movies. Sometimes the customer service can be a bit on the low end, but for the most part we enjoy this place. The pizza is just like I like it. Reminds me of the days as a kid in NY when you could get the BIG slice, a little crispy on the dough and the cheese didn’t look like«government cheese». lmao! Had to laugh at myself for that one. The pasta is good enough for me. No authentic Italian joint, but it’ll pass. Salads could be a LOT fresher. We like it and will return.

Eaten here several times over the past few years and have never been impressed. Food is always bland and super greasy. Gave it another shot today and was again was underwhelmed. I have friends and family that swear by this place but it just doesn’t do it for me.

I really like Johnny’s pizza. Their sauce tastes homemade and they put really good quality ingredients on. They also typically have a Sam Adam’s seasonal brew on tap. Lots of nice parking and big TVs inside. Their bread knots are fantastic, too!

The friendliest servers, coldest draft beer, and I crave the garlic knots all the time. The pizza is a generous serving and every sandwich I have had has been excellent. My only complaint is the location for me in on the opposite side of town, but if I am over there I at least grab a beer and a slice! Love it!

good thin crust pizza, pretty run of the mill… better than dominoes, pizza hut, or papa johns, but still looking for that great one in macon.

Consistently the best calzone in the Macon area(and I’m not even a big fan of the ‘zone). Period. They also have a pretty good selection of beer, including Sam Adams’ seasonal. Since the ‘zones are so good, I haven’t really tried much else, but they have a pretty full menu of pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. The owner, Pete, is very cool; my wife and I had several beers with him a few Sundays ago. Tell him I said hi, when you go.
