Taco Bell

When I asked for Chicken soft tacos «Fresco Style» the girl behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy and said she’s never heard of that. I asked if they had a Fresco menu at all, and she and the rednecks in front of me laughed and told me «this is Georgia…» What does that have to do with anything? I just don’t want cheese and sour cream on my taco!
Then we proceeded to wait in line for our food for 20 minutes while 8 cars went through the drive thru. While we were waiting, my husband noticed their Fresco menu.

The restaurant looks fairly updated and clean.
The food wasn’t up to par with Taco Bell’s advertisements and their portions.
My stuff burrito was half the size of other stores, not to mention what it would compare to the picture menu. Sweet tea is so sweet, the label should read «syrup». Usually when I see cases like this, it tells me that if they’re too lazy to stir fresh brewed tea or use a measuring cup, then what other shortcut are they willing to cut?

This is a gas station that has a TB attached. Typically I steer clear of these places… don’t like to think about gas and eating at same time.
The store is actually one of the remodeled ones. Very nice inside with updated seating area. Cool music played in over head sound system.
First, I waited an exceptionally long time in line just to place my order. I think it’s because of difficult patrons with complex orders and asking a lot of questions.
Keep in mind this was at 3 pm!
The lady at the register was VERY professional. She looked at my credit card, called me by my name («Mr. Herndon»), and told me they would call me by my name when my order was ready.
She then disappeared to do something, perhaps help in the kitchen. Another couple came to counter after me, and eventually left because no one there to take their order.
TWENTY MINUTES LATER I received my order. I was fuming, but could do nothing about it. Oh, and BTW, they didn’t call me by my name… Just an uninspired youth yelling out: «Order 169!»
It’s near where I live and I will probably go back, but I’ll be wary.

Gas station easy. Food average. Close to highway is a plus.
