This is the best little bakery and coffee shop around. The blackberry shortbread is absolutely amazing and delicious, a favorite of mine. :) They make the best Iced Mocha that is sure to get your day going in the right direction. The owners and staff are super friendly and always have a warm smile thar makes you feel like your sitting at you best friends house.

Came in from Fresno and first impression was that it was very hard to find from the street. However, once you do find it, it’s a super cute little bakery and the staff is super friendly. I went with an egg and bell pepper omelette and an iced coffee. Both were delicious but microwaving the omelette on a styrofoam to-go box was a major turn off. The price was very fair, $ 5 for an omelette and coffee, but I wish the presentation had as much charm as the bakery itself!

I occasionally drive by for work and I was needing to pick up some doughnuts for co workers. To my surprise, no doughnuts, only on the weekends. Their pastries range from 2 – 4 $, not what I was expecting to pay for doughnuts lol. I decided to go with cinnamon rolls and monkey bread. The lady even gave me a discount since i purchased several. They were delicious, soft, and didn’t last long at work; my co workers loved them. Will treat myself soon :)

Service: There have been many coffee shops that passed through this particular location, and while I support the mom and pop shops I wasn’t satisfied with a couple of things. Perhaps at first the owner was having a bad day but she wasn’t nice at the beginning. It didn’t keep me from trying them again and again even though she wasn’t very inviting. After that I started just going there to grab my coffee, no discussion and walking right out, but each time I would I find that they’d try to avoid stamping my card. Once I went to get my free cup, but she crossed the stamps out and asked me to pay so I did. I was confused thinking that perhaps the next time I would get my free cup but I did not! Once again I would present my card and by this time it was obvious that they want to avoid stamping the card because it was every time I went. One would think that presenting this card would make the owners happy seeing that I am a returning customer, but not in this case! Every coffee shop has a card, in fact they offer to give you one themselves. The older woman who works there was very friendly. She’s the one with blonde hair and is very energetic. A young teenaged looking girl with dark hair is friendly as well. Pastries: once I bought a brownie and it was okay. It tasted like the smell of play dough, but since I don’t mind the scent of play dough I didn’t mind the doughy tasting brownie. The other day I bought 1 cookie and it tasted the same: like dough. I wasn’t satisfied. I thought the brownie I had tasted that way bc perhaps she was not stirring well enough. Coffee: it’s good. I guess they bought it from the previous owners at The Coffee Spot and it’s good. I like the coffee. Price: is ridiculous for 1 pastry and 1 coffee costs more than the price of a meal that you can buy. A meal at in n out, soda, burger, and fries costs less than when I bought pastry and 1 coffee at this joint. It came out to almost $ 7. While I wish this place luck, they need to change their attitudes about ripping customers off. I don’t want the coffee place to shut down, rather just to keep in mind of some of their actions.

I don’t live in the Ranchos but happened to stop here with a friend that does. Kind of tucked away but super cute shop with a very friendly staff. I had an iced coffee with heavy cream — it was delicious! And I had a vanilla scone which was baked on site. It was moist and sweet and went perfectly with the yummy coffee. Wish they were closer but I guess it doesn’t make much of a difference because I’ll definitely be back!

Okay as I drove up I was definitely curious because I’d read the reviews and it seemed to have a good vibe. I’d been to the previous owners place but nothing then really struck my fancy… but the new owners got me :) I’ll be back! Lol, I always feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger when I say that. Let me share my experience: I was greeted by one of the owners and she was super friendly. I was the only customer there, and she said I just missed the morning regulars so I had all her attention. I asked if they had wifi which they do and it’s free :). That may be a given at some coffee houses but in a small town like the Ranchos«props to them». The owner bakes all the goodies and they all look good. The blueberry scones looked sparkly from glittering sugar and cinnamon rolls that were soo big! I had skipped breakfast and when I spotted the«Nom-lette», advertised as gluten free which it’s nice to know the owners were thoughtful enough to include options like this at a lil bakery, I ordered one. My son grabbed a cake pop! And i ordered a chai latte and ate in. My lil Nom-lette was cute before but served to me on a pie plate with checkered paper… I felt like I was back in the south at one of my favorite stops(Cracker Barrel). Wow this made me feel like I’d been hugged from my momma! It tasted great and my son ate the cake pop so quickly I couldn’t even get a pic. ;) The décor is retro country /country chic. They have board games and table checkers. How cute is that?! So yes, «I will be back», don’t care how silly I sound!

I’m staying in an Airbnb home in Madera Ranchos, and my host recommended this new coffee shop.(I’m a spoiled Seattleite who must have a latte every morning.) I got a good latte and a delicious gluten-free cinnamon roll here. Later, I chatted with the owner and found out all the baked goods, except for donuts, are made fresh in the shop every morning. I’ll be back to try the scones.
